Work Text:
Towa believes that his feelings towards Mankai Company’s Usui Masumi are just admiration as a fan for his idol.
A boy from the countryside made up his mind and moved to the city, attend the same high school as his idol, and now lives in the same area as said idol. Veludo is the holy land of theatres, but he never thought he would meet Masumi in the least way he could think of.
His Magician's Pure Love flyer flew away (pun intended), and among thousands of people in Veludo, it had to be Masumi who picked it up.
It's like those delusional, cheesy fanfics he secretly reads during his free time.
Towa felt something that was really, really close to love at first sight blooming inside him. He suddenly felt that he couldn’t speak, but his thoughts kept babbling about Masumi's beauty and whether this was a dream or reality. His heart was beating so fast it was suffocating, and everything suddenly blacked out.
The rest happens as if Towa were truly living in his fanboy self's dream. The next thing he knew, he formed his own theatre troupe. Director Izumi is so generous that she lets him and his troupe visit the dorm and use their practice room from time to time, even letting her assistant director direct their debut play, THE Settsu Banri himself.
Between his school, part-time job at his aunt’s flower shop, and practicing for their debut play, Towa can’t help but think he made the right choice to stanning Mankai. He made new friends, tried things he never did before, learns many things at once, and genuinely having fun. This generous chance also gave Towa more opportunity to take a closer look at Masumi’s life.
This is the best.
Since KICS debut play was wrapped up, Towa has more time to think about his feelings. He can feel that these feelings bloomed beautifully and was truly blessed by the universe, before realizing it had completely morphed into something clearly unacceptable.
It’s not close to love at first sight. Towa thinks he truly fell in love with Masumi.
This can’t be, Towa pacing around his bedroom, there’s no way I’m feeling this.
He took a random plushie from his bed to scream into, realizing it was a Masumi plush in Julius' costume, then he screams so hard and reflexively throws that plush across his room, only to pick it up immediately and apologize to it multiple times. Gripping the plush hard, Towa then got hit by another realization that he had tons of Masumi merchandise in his room. Bromides, can badges, acrylic standees, posters, plushies, you name it. And that one in particular, that one with Masumi’s autograph on it. The one he displayed on his desk gracefully.
Ah, it was too late.
Towa definitely can’t let these feelings bloom further. He needs to stay in his line and treat Masumi with a respectable distance, but he also doesn’t want to step on them and abandon these feelings. After all, those feelings are something that made him going this far that he is eternally grateful for.
Fortunately or unfortunately, Towa is a type of person who needs to vent anything he feels to get it off his chest.
He goes to BlooCha and is prepared to type a long vent, but he might need Keiku to punch him in the face to put him in his place.
momo
Gonna be honest, I think I need love advice
Let’s meet at the burger place this weekend
Yep, this should do.
Towa turns off his phone and goes to bed, didn’t wait for replies, which come immediately anyway.

What he needs to do with these blooming feelings is still uncertain. For now, he wishes that Masumi would never find out about this.
It’s definitely unrequited anyway, that's the only thing Towa could accept.
