   Summary

   After David Webster comes home, his mother is so angry that she reactivates an old promise. So that David gets driven down to Alabama to marry Eugene Sledge, whose mother is an old friend of David's mother. There David has to get used to being a civilian omega again, while also trying to hide his own past in the war. He has to get to know and get used to Eugene, as his future husband and his chaotic found family aka K-Company.
