Akame
There he goes, the saddest of the sad boys, poor lil’ Joryu.
My Network has never had a better worker than our very own depressed James Bond, and nobody has ever asked for so little in return. Sure he’s a big tough cage fighter who’s probably as old as my dad, but I really want to wrap him up in a blanket and sing him a lullaby.
The next best thing was buying him a drink. That was two days ago and I’m still embarrassed. Nobody’s ever gotten so much info out of me after only two shots of whiskey, and I have a gut feeling that it has less to do with any spy training, and more that he’s just that guy.
I’ll miss him when his secret agency calls him back. For now, I’m going to focus on making those big sad cow eyes look a little less haunted. If that doesn’t work, there’s always the blanket idea.
