Work Text:
Vincent was shown in Lalaloopsy Land, delivering a letter to Jewel Sparkles' mailbox. "It isn't always easy to deliver Jewel Sparkles' mail. In fact, it's rather difficult," I narrated, as Vincent opened several doors to get to a small hole to put Jewel's newspaper in. Vincent tried to fit the newspaper in the small hole, but couldn't. Vincent rang Jewel's doorbell, as Jewel was tidying up her clothes. "Let's see, all the blue dresses together, all the green skirts together," Jewel said as she was sorting her clothes out. Jewel heard the doorbell, closed the closet door and went to answer the door, and it was Vincent with the newspaper. "Your paper, Jewel Sparkles," Vincent said as he handed Jewel the newspaper. "Thank you, Vincent. Just a minute," Jewel said as she went to go get something.
Jewel found a blue button in her drawer, and gave it to Vincent. "You deserve a tip after all that," Jewel told Vincent as she handed him a button, as Vincent started scratching his head in confusion. "Uh..." Vincent said, all confused. "Well, I seem to have put my buttons in my purse, which means my money must be, um, in my sewing box! What a silly me!" Jewel said as she took the button back and put it back in her drawer, then went to look for some money to give Vincent. "That's what comes with being too tidy! You end up losing everything! See you tomorrow, then, Jewel Sparkles!" Vincent told Jewel, as Jewel handed Vincent a proper coin as a tip. "By the way, don't forget the lottery draw!" Vincent told Jewel as he then left the scene.
"That's right! The lottery! Let's see now!" Jewel said as she went to the kitchen to read the newspaper. "The jackpot goes to number 777," Jewel read from the newspaper. Jewel looked through her kitchen cabinets, making a little mess in the process, and then saw a golden ticket numbered 777. Jewel took a closer look at the ticket. "It's me! I've won! Quick, let's go and claim the jackpot!" Jewel said. Jewel then noticed the mess she made in her kitchen. "Oh no, I simply can't go into town and leave my kitchen in such an awful mess! Goodness, just look at that! What a mess!" Jewel said. Jewel opened her window and left the ticket on the table, not knowing that the ticket could possibly blow away from the wind, and put her apron on. "Right! Here we go!" Jewel said. Jewel put all her kitchen supplies and her newspaper back in the cabinets, and closed them up.
Jewel then noticed her box of sugar cubes. "Goodness me, I almost forgot! Now, where shall I put the sugar?" Jewel asked as she opened her cabinet. Jewel then heard Tippy Tumblelina calling her. "Hello, Jewel Sparkles, I thought I'd drop by, because I noticed that your window isn't shut properly!" Tippy said. "Of course it isn't, it's wide open to air the room! I'm having a good tidy up!" Jewel said as she then walked to approach Tippy. "You see, I just don't know where to put the sugar," Jewel said as she brought Tippy her sugar box. "What? You're going to put it away like that?" Tippy asked as she opened up the box. "Why not? What's wrong?" Jewel asked. "But, come now, you really must wrap each lump of sugar in paper to protect it!" Tippy said. "You sure?" Jewel asked. "I'm certain! And what's more, I wrap each lump in a different colored paper to differentiate between them!" Tippy answered.
"I'd say, I never thought of that! Suzette La Sweet washes her sugar before putting it away, but then of course, it dissolves!" Jewel said as she giggled. "Yes, but she's a real fuss pot, whereas you and I, we're, well organized!" Tippy said. The camera zoomed in on Jewel's golden 777 ticket already about to blow away from the wind. "I must be going now, I have to buy the paper to find out the lottery results!" Tippy said as Jewel wrapped three sugar cubes in pink and purple paper. Tippy left to go buy a paper, as Pickles BLT drove by in her Papa Louie go kart, and rushed into Jewel's home. "I'm sure a tidy person like you would have today's paper! I need to check the lottery numbers! No? Too bad, bye bye!" Pickles said really fast, as Pickles rushed out of Jewel's home after. "Uh, yes, Pickles BLT!" Jewel said. Pickles' rushing caused Jewel's ticket to fly out the window.
Cinder Slippers was seen walking by. "Uh oh! There goes Cinder Slippers!" I narrated. "Ooh, a butterfly! People collect butterflies so they must be worth a lot of money!" Cinder said as she was chasing the lottery ticket, as Pickles drove by fast. "I'll get you, I'll get you!" Cinder said. Cinder jumped up and collected golden ticket 777. "All mine! Oh no! It isn't a butterfly, it's lottery ticket 777! Ooh, that's the winning number! I'm rich! I'm rich!" Cinder said, all excited about her newfound wealth. Cinder then stopped and thought about it for a bit. "Wait a minute, this ticket isn't mine! It came from Jewel Sparkles' house! Hmm, well, she'll never know," Cinder said. Cinder thought about it for a bit, and knew that stealing the ticket wouldn't be honest. "No, no, that isn't honest! I may be a mess slave, but I'm not dishonest!" Cinder said as she walked back.
"Now then, my kitchen is all tidy, but where on Earth did I put my lottery ticket?" Jewel asked. Jewel then heard a doorbell, and answered it and it was Cinder Slippers. "Hello, Jewel, have you lost something by any chance?" Jewel asked. "No, no! Well, yes. A lottery ticket," Jewel answered. "I think I found it here. That's worth just a small reward, isn't it?" Cinder asked as she handed Jewel the ticket. "Or even a big reward, Cinder! Keep that winning ticket, you've earned it!" Jewel answered. "Really? Promise? You're not going to change your mind? You're sure?" Cinder asked. "Quite sure! What on Earth do you think I'd do with all that money? I've simply got nowhere to put it!" Jewel answered. "Oh, I've got plenty of places to put it," Cinder said as she giggled, and went back to her castle. Little did Cinder know, Jewel gave her the golden ticket on purpose to mess up Cinder's castle with lots of fake Monopoly money, as Cinder was a mess slave after all.
After all that, Jewel went back to tidying up her closet. "Now, uh, where was I? Oh yes, do I put the striped skirt away with the blue dresses, or with the green skirts?" Jewel asked. Jewel thought about it, and got an idea. "I know what, I'll dye them all pink, my favorite color!" Jewel said. Jewel went ahead and dyed all her clothes pink with Rit DyeMore Super Pink. After dyeing all of her clothes pink, Jewel put away her clothes, and sorted the light pink skirts and dark pink dresses. Jewel then took one of the pink dresses off the shelf and showed the viewers it. "Pink does suit me, don't you think?" Jewel asked the viewers, as the screen turned black and this fun and crazy little Lalaloopsy adventure ended right here.
