Dating Lee Sa-Young wasn't that bad at all.
In fact, it felt great.
The impromptu flowers Sa-Young would get him after the restaurant was closed, saying he just ‘felt like it’ and those little sweet kisses on his face before they would leave to go to their shared home..
Ugh, everything was perfect.
The apocalypse was over, and the world was steadily recovering.
.. Cha Eui-Jae also reopened the hangover soup restaurant.
He didn't know how, but he somehow kept his face sealed from the public, more so from the hunters as he always had to roam around playing the life of hunter J and the D-ranked part timer Cha Eui-Jae.
Everyone was so busy with the whole apocalypse thing that no one even realised that the No.1 hunter and the part timer had never been in the same room together.
It was a coincidence, really. Cha Eui-jae had expected his identity to be revealed in the apocalypse sooner or later, but only a select few got the privilege to see his face.
And that select few included Nam Woojin, Honey Bee, the director ( who had sadly passed ) and Jung-Bin.
Dungeons and rifts were also not much of a hassle now, which was great!
.. Word had somehow got around that Hunter J and Lee Sa Young had something going on.
Did they deny the rumors? No. Did they accept them? Also, no. Both of the hunters turned a blind eye deliberately.
So obviously, the public thought that they were dating.
Anyway, the hunters were overjoyed when they found out that the hang over soup restaurant was back in order and even gave plenty of gifts to Cha Eui-jae on the day of reopening.
Obviously Cha Eui-jae refused them, but the hunters got through with their stubbornness.
And so, here Cha Eui-jae was, shifting through tables, carrying 5 soups in 1 hand and somehow also taking orders at lightning speed.
It was lunchtime for the hunters, after all.
“The usual for you, Bae Won-woo?” Cha Eui-jae asked, which the hunter nodded to enthusiastically. “Same for you as well, Kang Ji-soo?”
“Yup!” Kang Ji-soo flashed him with a smile and thumbs up.
Just then, Lee Sa-Young entered the restaurant, making way to his usual table, where Bae Won-woo and Kang Ji-soo sat.
“Ah, Sa-Young.” Cha Eui-jae flashed him a small smile and kissed him like it was second nature. He then proceeded with his work.
Wait.. Rewind.
He kissed Lee Sa-Young.
He kissed Lee Sa-Young, the leader of the Pado guild and the No.2 hunter of Korea.
He, Cha Eui-jae, the part timer kissed Lee Sa-Young.
And during rush hour!
The part timer stopped walking and turned around.
Everyone looked at Cha Eui-jae and then at Lee Sa-Young, Cha Eui-jae and Lee Sa-Young…
Heck even Sa-Young seemed dumb founded.
And then, the silence broke.
“PART TIMER IS DATING LEE SA YOUNG???”
“PART TIMER… NOOO!!!!!!!!”
Some were in tears, either out of pity for the party timer or happy that he finally found his one and only.
“GUYS!” Bae Won-woo screamed, which made everyone freeze.
“Isn't… Guild leader.. Dating Hunter J?” He pointed at Pado's leader, a bit confused and disgusted as well.
Gasps filled the room.
“But they didn't deny or confirm it though..” A hunter said.
“But we saw both of them carry each other.”
“J is always working with the Pado guild, don't you think?”
“Yeah, and he's always by Lee Sa-Young’s side.”
Everyone nodded in agreement.
“So that means…”
“LEE SA-YOUNG IS TWO TIMING PART TIMER AND HUNTER J?!?!?”
The hunters were almost about to throw food at him before they realised this was Lee Sa-Young they were about to fight with..
These are the times when Cha Eui-jae envied Small Miracle Seo Min-gi. He just wanted to blend in with the shadows and to never be seen again.
“Me and J aren't dating.” Lee Sa-Young finally said, putting his gloved hands inside his pockets.
Everyone blinked.
Sighing in relief, the hang-over soup patrons were happy to hear that the No.2 hunter had some kind of morals.
“What seems to be the commotion in here?”
Jungbin was god sent, Eui-Jae thought.
“We just found out Lee Sa-Young are dating.” One of the hunters said.
“Ah..” Jungbin turned his head to said couple.
Right! He had a job to do! He hastily went to the kitchen to make the orders.
Lee Sa-Young titled his head to Cha Eui-Jae, as if saying he's the one who had caused this.
Well, I mean, yeah, it kind of was.
But Sa-Young had absolutely no business going around like that with his pretty face and sweet scent!
Jung bin raised his eyebrows, simply curious to how the reveal happened.
Cha Eui-Jae was so fucked.
Anyway, after that, the day went by fast as usual. Someone wished him every now and then, others sharing their condolences.
And now, he was in bed with Sa-Young, who was grabbing his waist and leaning on to his chest, slowly drifting off to sleep.
Cha Eui-Jae, on the other hand, was on his phone.

Guys, think about it. No.1 has poison resistance, even does part timer as he literally kissed Lee Sa-Young on the lips.
Also, when the apocalypse ended and the restaurant reopened, J dyed his hair dark brown.
Guess whose hair is also dark brown.

Yup, that was enough of internet for one day.
Cha Eui-jae sighed, keeping his phone down to finally wind down for the night.
“Don't stress about it too much, worst case scenario is that you'll have to reveal your identity.”
“Reveal my identity…” Cha Eui-jae echoed, threading his hand between Sa-Young’s silky hair.
“Go to sleep. We may have to clear some dungeons tomorrow.”
Cha Eui-jae groaned at the thought of it, he just wanted to have a day off with his Sa-Young and lay in bed all day doing absolutely nothing.
Okay, maybe something.
“Why is your heart beat increasing all of the sudden?” Sa-Young groggily asked, not knowing the vivid imaginations going in his boyfriends head.
《Poker face (B) Activated!》
“Nothing..” Cha Eui-jae stuttered, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.
Sleep sleep sleep.. Cha Eui-jae repeated.
“I can still hear your raging heartbeat, hyung. Don't try to put your poker face on.”
“It's nothing Sa-Young-ah, I swear.” He nuzzled his face onto Sa-Young's hair, breathing in its sweet scent.
“Mm.. I can feel a bulge under my leg, hyung.” Lee Sa-young deliberately brushed his leg.
“LEE SA-YOUNG.”
Lee Sa-Young had ended sleeping on the couch that night.
Cha Eui-jae personally carried him back to bed at 2 AM, though.
