   Summary

   Hemlock Potter shares dreams with Maeglin when she and Maeglin are children allowing them to grow up together and fall in love. When Maeglin is captured by Orcs and taken to Angband, Morgoth demands Maeglin to reveal the location of Gondolin and when Maeglin refuses to tell he is tortured until he does. Morgoth then orders Sauron to use magic to control Maeglin leading to the fall of Gondolin. Maeglin is presumed dead after Gondolin's downfall allowing him to be recaptured by Morgoth's forces and taken back to Angband.
