Chapter 1: Jumprope
Chapter Text
The boy happily jumped, oblivious to the creature from hell watching him.
Abaddon needed a body, so that he could wreak havoc upon Earth, and possesing a young boy was quite hip at this time. So of course, Abaddon wanted in on the trend.
---
The young boy stopped skipping rope as soon as he saw the threatening shadow watching him from the dark of the forest nearby. It had alot of eyes, way too many eyes.
"Mister, who are you?" The boy hesitantly asked, slowly backing away.
The shadow didn't answer as it walked closer, and into the light. The boy then realized at that moment that this being wasn't a man, it was a hellish beast!
"Get back!" The boy screamed, getting ready to run to the church.
The demon stayed silent as it stepped even closer.
"Go back to hell, you demon!"
It stepped closer to the boy.
"I mean it! Or I'll get my father to banish you!"
Closer.
"He's a priest, you know!"
Closer.
"He'll send you back to hell!"
Closer.
Then everything went dark.
---
Abaddon opened his eyes. Well, they weren't really his eyes, but you know what I mean. The possesion worked!
"Yes! Yes!" He exclaimed with a grin on his face.
Then, a voice called out from the boy's house: "It is time for dinner!"
It was the boy's mother who was calling out to who she thought was her son.
Abaddon figured that if he was to wreak havoc, he might as well start in the boy's home.
He walked to the door and entered the house, were dinner was set on an old wooden table. At the wooden table were three people, the mother, the father and a little girl, most likely the boy's sister.
The father stared into Abaddon's eyes as he sat at the table.
"Your eyes look different, boy." He said in a low voice.
"They do, father?" Abaddon responded, imitating the boy's voice the best he could.
"And your voice sounds different as well."
"It does, father?"
The father's eyes widened as he shot up from his chair.
"Demon!" He yelled as he pointed at Abaddon.
The mother stood up from her chair to stand behind her husband.
"My dear, are you sure?" She whispered in his ear, staring at Abaddon in fear as she does so.
The father nodded as the sister stared at Abaddon.
She then looked back at her father.
"Father, what is happening?"
"Get behind me." The father ordered the daughter, who listened to him. She got up from her chair and stood behind her father, hugging her mother.
The father grabbed a pan, and smacked Abaddon across the head with it, knocking Abaddon onconscious.
Chapter 2: Jump
Chapter Text
Abaddon woke up in a grass field very close to a cliff, surrounded by people holding torches and pitchforks.
He looked around in a slight daze, before spotting the father standing over a fire.
The father was holding a metal pole, with a metal cross attached to it, which he was holding over a flame.
Once the cross was hot enough, the father aproached Abaddon.
Abaddon tried to move, but he found that he was restrained by a rope that kept his arms by his sides.
"Damn you!" He screamed in fury at the father.
"Shut your wretched mouth, demon!" The father yelled back as he pressed the hot iron cross to Abaddon's chest.
"I will bind you to this body that you've possessed!"
Abaddon screamed as the hot iron made contact with his skin. He fell back onto the grass as the fresh burn wound sizzled, the smell of burnt flesh entering his nose. It was a smell that he would have enjoyed when he was in hell torturing sinners, but right now it didn't seem so great.
The iron had burnt a hole in Abaddon's clothing, and the wound was red and horribly painful.
The father stood over Abaddon, while the bystanders yelled and threw rocks at Abaddon.
The demon was hit by a wave of rage, and without thinking, he sat up and leapt forward, hitting the father with his head as they both fell down the cliff.
Abaddon landed face-first onto the rocks below, and the wound made contact with the ground, which sent a sharp pain through his chest.
Groaning in pain, he got up, only to find that the father had landed on a sharp rock, which had impaled him.
The father's eyes were open as they stared into an endless void, and there was blood on the rock and on his clothing, staining everything a gruesome red.
Abaddon stared at the sight for a few seconds, not in shock, but in delight. The man who had bound him to this powerless form had gotten what he deserved.
Now all that was left to do for Abaddon was to somehow rid himself of this pathetic body that he was stuck in.
