Once upon a time, a beautiful princess was traveling alone across the countryside when she met a stranger.

Which is an ominous beginning to a story, and in this case, with ominous results. Because this stranger was an evil wizard, who collected beautiful girls and twisted them and magicked them and trained them until they were still beautiful, but also very dangerous, and bewitched to do his bidding. Because the wizard had big and evil plans, and he needed an army of beautiful killers to fulfill them.

And all his plans worked for a time.

Suggested to me for Pod-O-Ween by bittercape as a fill for "knife" because knife-hands! While this also works delightfully for "curse," I had to use it for knife, because that was too delightfully specific not to follow through!
Also for Marvel/DC Crossover Bingo, for "learning to be loved" because that is the whole vibe of this fic.
