Death gets progress and results.

Summary:

Izuku was diagnosed quirkless and in this world filled with quirks that wasn't good. After his father heard the news lets say he gave Izuku a reminder he can't unsee. After the reminder, Hisashi left and Inko was not happy and made sure Izuku knew. When she got bored one day she left. If home wasn't bad enough for the greeny school was worse. It is also because Izuku was quirkless and since he was quirkless teachers didn't pay attention to his deteriorating health both physically and mentally. Mitsuki isn't aware of Izuku's situation believing whatever Inko tells her over the phone. She does know that Izuku and Katsuki aren't friends anymore though. That is why she doesn't question why she never sees Izuku anymore.

Chapter Text

Chapter one Pilot.

“Sorry kid, it’s not going to happen.” The doctor said, and Izuku froze. He didn’t actually freeze but was forced in place and if the doctor noticed a green glow around Midoriya, he stayed silent. As they left, Izuku was walking robotically. Izuku struggled against his mother’s quirk to no avail and could only go with the force of his mother's telekinesis. After he gave up on fighting, he could smell the sterile smell that you would smell in a hospital. It all but dissipated as they left the doctor's office.
The drive home was unbearably quiet. Neither Izuku nor Inko spoke once. When Inko and Izuku walked into the small apartment, Izuku noticed a pair of brown shoes belonging to his father, indicating he was home. Izuku then stopped and turned, trying to run back out of the apartment. He didn’t know why, it was probably just his small child instinct that told him his dad would be angry at the news. Inko stopped him with her quirk. Hisashi was standing at the counter, stirring something that looked like it was supposed to be food – but smelled like burnt plastic – and it permeated throughout the house. Hisashi turned when he heard the door click shut and said, “Hey Inko, what did the doctor say?” Hisashi had spoken with a strain in his voice and a look of obvious distaste for his son in his sharp glare. After a minute, Inko spoke and said three words that would seal Izuku’s future, “He is quirkless.”
“I’m sorry, but I’m going to need you to repeat that because I must have misheard. No child carrying my blood could ever be such a degenerate freak like being a quirkless.” Hisashi said, spewing bits of fire from his mouth as he spoke with anger that was only rising. Izuku could only stand there in fear because in all of his short life, he had never once seen his father’s fire turn a purple so mesmerizing it hurts to look at, or maybe it was just the heat.
Inko spoke up, “That’s what the doctor said.” Inko took a step back from the spot she was standing now, too hot to be so close. Then to both Inko and Izuku’s shock, Hisashi had deactivated his quirk and turned to them with a smile so sweet that it made you sick. “I must apologize. I overreacted.” When Hisashi said this, both Inko and Izuku blinked incredulously, clearly dumbfounded. Izuku felt relieved, but that relief was short-lived, because Hisashi spoke again. “After all, why be mad when Benjamin Alire Saenz said, ‘When something gets broken, it can be fixed,’ hm? I will just fix you, my son. I mean, in this world that has advanced by leaps and bounds since quirks, there has got to be something.”
Hisashi took a knee in front of the greeny who was still shaken up and crying from earlier. Even when Hisashi was on his knees, he towered far over him. “Izuku my son, do you want to be fixed? Do you want to be like everyone else? Do you want me to fix you? Do you want to be useful?” Hisashi asked. All Izuku could do was nod because he oh, so wanted to be a hero. He also wanted to be helpful, and useful to his parents. Plus, his dad was offering him a chance, and his mom and dad would never hurt him without a purpose. Right?
The next few days were a blur for Izuku. He still went to school like normal, but even school was different because somehow the whole class had found out Izuku was quirkless, and now his teachers treated him like he was fragile and would break at the slightest confrontation. So, instead of letting Izuku play with everyone in the school yard (that had all sorts of new play equipment), he was subjected to staying in the classroom and reading. He did. Understanding what he was reading was a different matter – he was trying to read about humans, their bodies, quirks, history, and function. It wasn’t all at once, but over time that he would read. However, that’s for future Izuku. Right now, Izuku only read about the history of humans.
Once recess was over, Izuku noticed a shift in behavior of a certain blonde. He walked up to Katsuki, but Katsuki only looked at Izuku and said, “Leave me alone, Deku.” That made Izuku’s stomach drop because sure the blonde was abrasive, but he had never once pushed Izuku away because they were going to be heroes together. That’s what Katsuki had said long ago. Izuku left and went back to his seat. He now knows why his dad wanted to fix him, and he was all much more willing to help because now even the one person he called his best friend didn’t want him. He would get fixed no matter what.
When the day was over Izuku slipped a note into Katsuki’s bag. That note would soon be forgotten by the green headed boy, for his future was going to be clouded by getting help and getting fixed from his dad. The blonde boy, however, would just be confused about it for a long time, never quite forgetting, but never understanding.
Izuku walked into his new house a week later because his dad said if he was going to fix Izuku, he would need a bigger space. Here he is in a house that was twice the size of his old apartment. It would also mark the day his first session with his dad would begin. “Izuku, go to the garage. Your dad said he is going to start your treatment today.” Izuku’s mother, Inko said. Oh, and poor, small, naive Izuku.
When Izuku got to the garage, he noticed several things: there was plastic covering the floors and wall, it smelled like rubbing alcohol, a camera, medical supplies, a gag, and there was one chair with straps. Hisashi stood next to the chair, messing with the tools. When he heard Izuku enter, he turned around to face him. “Izuku son, have a seat.” Izuku went with little hesitation and sat down. The chair was wooden with padding and straps. Once Izuku was sitting, his dad started to strap him in and was saying, “Don’t worry about the straps, it's just to keep you still. If you want to stop, we can. Though you won’t want to, right? Since we have to fix you. Right?” “Y-you’re right. Dad,” Izuku agreed. Hisashi put a needle in his arm that was connected to an IV that had one word on it: Diazepam 5mg.
Izuku felt really calm soon after, but that didn’t stop the pain of being cut into, bones breaking, being tunneled through, and having different medicines mixed and injected into you. It also didn’t cover the exhaustion from the healing medicine that would be injected into him, so that no one can call it out that Izuku was hurt. Izuku would go through this every weekend and even some weekdays. No one ever noticed at school, except maybe a few kids who saw new scars that were not there when they last saw him. Even then, they never said a word, because why would they? Izuku was just the quirkless deku.
Izuku was also being forced to learn about the human body at home by his mom and dad. They said it was because he was going to stay awake and describe what he was going to be feeling in one of his father’s operations. So, he did. He learned everything from textbook to textbook. Cover to cover, page by page. Soon, instead of analyzing heroes, he analyzed the body, quirks, and everything about life. He learned to tell when people are lying by their body, he learned how to keep the body in perfect condition, health, how to keep light on your toes, and oh, so much more.

This would happen right before Izuku’s first year of middle school.

One day on another session with his father, he didn’t give Izuku any of the calming medicine, he just strapped him down and started to cut and remove muscle tissue, bone marrow, and blood. Izuku screamed to the point where his father put the gag on him for the first time in years.
Finally, one day after Hisashi had gotten no results, he was pissed, and so during their session, he strapped him down and began like normal except he spoke this time, “This is your fault, you know. I lost my job, you quirkless freak.” Hisashi was drunk, if the smell was anything to go off of. Then Hisashi grabbed Izuku by the neck and gripped it hard. “You filthy bastard. It would have been best if you had died.” Izuku was purple and shaking, trying to escape. Then Hisashi let go and Izuku gasped for air, his relief like all those years ago was short-lived. Hisashi took the scalpel and stabbed Izuku ten times, each one was deep and wide. Within seconds, Izuku passed out from blood loss and within minutes, he was dead. Hisashi unstrapped one of Izuku’s arms and wiped his fingerprints off. He put the scalpel in Izuku’s hand to frame it as suicide. In Hisashi’s panic, he forgot all about the camera, its feed, and previous recordings.
Two hours later, Izuku gasped and shot up. Well, shot up the best you can in restraints. He quickly undid the straps, then went to his father's desk hyperventilating. ‘Was I dreaming? No, it couldn’t have been, I have the scars, so what the fuck just happened?’ Izuku thought. Izuku grabbed the memory card out of the camera and put it in the computer to watch. When Izuku finished watching, he ran to the garbage can and threw up. When he came back to the computer and closed the video, he noticed a chat with a Dr. Kyudai Garaki, and if Izuku remembered correctly, that was where his father got all of this medical equipment. The message was saying to meet him at a bar in three hours, and if the camera was correct, they would meet in an hour. If Izuku were to report this to an anonymous hero tip line, they would most likely be able to catch Hisashi. So Izuku sent everything on the computer, except the videos of his sessions, and anything with his name he changed to “Patient #1-1.”
Izuku walked to his room and went to bed, but for the briefest moment, he thought part of his hair was white. He just went to sleep thinking it was a trick of the light. He fell asleep quickly that night and slept deeply, completely unaware of the three sisters who were weaving his fate, cackling and plotting.

Chapter 2: Intelligence

Notes:

So sorry I wanted to right more. You might think this is pointless but every thing in this chapter will have a point in the future. Brain is dead xd.

Chapter two

One week later

The pantry was bare, the fridge was empty, and the house was lonely. Of course, it had always been lonely for poor Izuku but at least someone was there usually. The only solace was school and even then, that in and of itself was another type of hell. Also, Izuku had realized his hair did have white and tried to dye it, but it would not go back to green.

Izuku walked into his class right as the bell had rung and was immediately stared down like an injured prey by the rest of his class. Well, he can't blame him he might as well be since he is 'quirkless'. Izuku sat in his seat before his teacher could yell at him. Then he felt a red glare on his back as usual, which when he turned around revealed a livid Katsuki. It seemed to Izuku that Katsuki was always livid just because of his existence and that made him chuckle internally because now the world made his existence the one thing that will always be constant.

Today happened to be the day before their break before their first year of middle school and so when the bell rang Izuku ran but not fast enough. "Oi Deku, the fuck is up with your hair?" Katsuki had said with a punch to Izuku's side. Izuku fell over from the punch and had to keep from vomiting. "I-it's something my dad did." Which wasn't a lie exactly since his dad was the reason his quirk activated, and this side effect happened. "You look like an off brand tik tac~" one of Katsuki's cronies said while kicking Izuku. They started punching, jabbing, and pulling hair. While Izuku tried his best to fight to no avail with being held down. That's when one of Katsuki's extras had the bright idea to take off Izuku's shirt so that he would have to walk home shirtless and get in trouble because after all he was quirkless no 'sane' person would believe him if he decided to snitch.

After one of the ''extras' let go Izuku punched them in the face because he wasn't about to let them see his scars and he then ran before they could recover from their initial shock. Izuku was fast but not faster than Katsuki. "DEKU!" The squad screamed as they got him and started to pull his shirt off. Izuku fought more than ever but it was useless because next thing he knew they were gasping and he was taking this chance to run. He got home quickly, and no one had followed him. Which was good but he knew he had broken a rib and was probably bleeding internally. So, he went to his bed and hoped to whatever god there was that when he had died last week and came back wasn't a one-time thing.

Izuku woke up two hours later and was healed again and gasping. Izuku took a moment to recollect himself and study the aftereffects of his quirk and he went and got his notebook and started writing analyzing every sensation and part of his newly healed body, he noted how he now has a second streak of white hair both of the streaks of hair took up about one tenth of his hair. If Izuku was honest he didn't want to know what would happen when it was full.

Katsuki's P.O.V

Katsuki wanted to barf of course he would never admit that aloud but what were those scars on his ex-best friend's body (would never admit). He went to his room ignoring his old hag. He couldn't get those scars out of his head. He was also shocked that Izuku had tried to fight back especially in that state where he was bloody and most likely had a broken bone. Katsuki noticed. Not that he would admit it but he would have nightmares about it for the next couple of days.

He woke up the next morning and just laid there perturbed by his nightmare and went into a small box under the bed. It was filled with little mementos from when he was younger and yes even the heartless Bakugou Katsuki got sentimental. While rummaging he came across a note that read, "Kaccan, I'm sorry for being useless but don't worry. I am getting fixed," - Izuku and that left a bad taste in Katsuki's mouth because Izuku's scars were most definitely precise except for a few that were still pink. That's when it hit him those scares were fresh a week or so at best, that's when he vomited.

Back to Izuku

He was out of food. His mom had been staying at a hotel and been working at all times possible and wasn’t paying for anything, so it was only a matter of time before lights and water went off. She had left a note saying I had till the end of this upcoming school year to vacate and get everything situated. So Izuku sold all his All Might merch, not that there was much, though it was expensive after selling everything he possibly could. He saved it and ate at a cafe down the street where kids ate free.

After their end of school semester break was over Izuku went back to school. Izuku was as ready as he could be yet worried after all it was still his first day of middle school even if he could revive from the dead, it wouldn’t stop the bullying.

Izuku was there before the rest of his class and right after his teacher who was giving him the stink eye. Eventually people started pouring in, either looking at Izuku with disgust or flat out ignoring him. So, imagine Izuku's surprise when Katsuki had ignored him instead of just joining in with the looks like usual and in fact it looked like he couldn’t even look at him. Izuku wondered if it was because of his scars but he disregarded that because Katsuki hadn’t cared about him for a very long time.

Izuku went on with his day with the usual glare, hate comment, and tripping. What was unusual however was Katsuki’s behavior because he had just left Izuku alone. Don’t get Izuku wrong, it was wonderful but odd.

When Izuku got home he started taking apart the medical tools, he was stripping wires and removing screws. He then took out a soldering iron and other tools he had bought on his way home and started building. He had also taken the computer apart. He was going to build an A.I that scans and monitors the body. It took hours just to get the base built and it will take even longer to add the code program and functions. It will also take a while to upload to the Internet and download and input all the data.

After five days of coding, loading and downloading, it was done and so was Izuku’s brain. Hey, went to sleep quickly and when he woke up, a voice said, “Hello creator, your vitals are back to nor- “ “eep” Izuku jumped. He had completely forgotten. He had left AIFEA online last night in his daze. (AIFEA equals artificial intelligence for entity analyzer.) “Anxiety increased rapidly and is now returning back to normal.” Aifea said. “Activate notification protocol.” Izuku stated. “Beep. Notification protocol now activated.”

Izuku picked up the device that was temporarily housing Aifea and grabbed a pair of headphones and went to school. “Aifea scan my class, document them, and report back via headphones.” Izuku stated, and Aifea responded with, “Understood!” Izuku went through the rest of his day and during the last period, Aifea beeped and stated, "Analysis is complete. Please check the folders for details.” When the day was over Izuku went home and reviewed the files, most things he had already known. Though there were a couple of unique things he hadn’t known. He got to Katsuki’s file and decided he would go through it tomorrow.
