    When a UNIT experiment goes wrong, Yasmin Khan finds herself cast back to 1463 alongside a troop of Cybermen. Stranded and cut off from the Doctor, Yaz vows to defend the locals from the danger she brought with her, taking up sword and shield and becoming a knight. In a world of faith and superstition, she forges her courage in fire and grief, waiting for the Doctor who might never come.

    And when the Doctor finally finds her, the battle has only just begun.
