Chapter 1: Episode 1: Reach For The Stars
Chapter Text
The episode begins with Kristal and Chef Hatchet at an office with both of them getting their phone out and pressing the send button to send messages.
After that, we cut to Hunter and Ally recording a gaming video in Ally's room before Ally got a message from her phone. She and Hunter widened their eyes when they saw what it was.
Next we see Miriam stirring a pot with Jake overlooking the situation when Jake's phone went off, both he and Miriam looked at the text with intrigue.
We then see Aiden and James in their swimsuits, relaxing on beach chairs and taking a duo selfie when James got a notification which shocked both him and Aiden.
After that, we see Tom eating a doughnut in a cop car wearing a police uniform before checking his phone and looking at it in surprise.
Afterwards, we see Gwen hanging out at a cafe with Cameron, Zoey, and Mike, seeming to have a good time before Gwen’s phone buzzed, her eyes widening in shock at the message.
We then cut to Cody practicing on a keyboard in a rehearsal studio when his phone suddenly began buzzing. After picking it up, he was shocked when he found out what the news was.
Finally, we see Heather and Alejandro cuddling on a couch together watching television in an apartment together when Heather’s phone buzzed in her pocket. She then took it out to see what the message was and both she and Alejandro looked at each other in surprise when seeing the message.
We properly begin the episode of this All Stars crossover with a red haired woman wearing a yellow shirt helping Kristal with her blush before stopping, allowing Kristal to open her eyes.
"Is it rolling, Emily?" Kristal asked curiously.
"Oh yeah." Emily smirked.
"Then gather the crew. It's time." Kristal said happily before turning to the camera, "Welcome one and all to this brand new collaboration project where thirty-three All Stars from Total Drama’s first two casts and both of Disventure Camp’s casts combine to compete in the biggest competition of their lives!”
Suddenly Chef Hatchet walked onscreen and began speaking his own introduction, "That's right. We've gathered thirty-three favorites and not so favorite competitors for a brand new All Star season for both shows they've competed on. We're just about to pick them up all around the world on this private jet."
Chef then addressed the black and yellow jet behind them as Kristal then took over the introduction.
"Once everyone is on the jet, they will be flown to Camp Tipiskaw where they will be spending their next season. It’s been quite a while since the Total Drama cast has competed, but two years have passed since Disventure Camp season one, and one year since season two." Kristal elaborated before finishing off, "Imagine what shenanigans our contestants have been up to. Who will compete in our biggest season yet and more importantly, what have they been doing this whole time. Find out on Totally! Disventurous! All Stars!"
(After theme Song)
We then cut to Kristal and Chef standing at the airport when Chef began speaking.
"We are currently in Ottawa to pick up our first few contestants." Chef said happily as he smiled at seeing Gwen and Zoey begin arriving with competitive grins on their faces, "Here come our classic Total Drama fan favorites from both casts: Gwen, Zoey, and Mike. Are you three ready for All Stars?"
“Hey Chef. Oh you bet we are.” Mike smirked competitively.
“And hey, I made it to the final four the last time I competed in an All Stars season so I figured, why not, right?” Gwen asked with a lighthearted chuckle.
(Interview: Gwen, Zoey, and Mike)
We then cut to Gwen, Zoey, and Mike at an interview room with Emily as they sat in chairs facing in front of her.
“Gwen and Zoey, fans have been dying to see more of your friendship ever since your interactions back in your first All Star season and Mike, you are quite the hot topic yourself. Mind telling us why Cameron isn’t back with you?” Emily asked with a smirk.
“Cameron’s is more focused on trying to study mental health to become a therapist so it’s just us three here.” Zoey smiled and then wrapped her arm around Gwen and Mike excitedly to which the two chuckled at her joy.
“Gwen. How do you feel about potentially reuniting with Courtney and Duncan this season.” Emily smirked at the goth which dampened her mood immediately.
“Next question, please.” Gwen glared furiously at the interviewer much to Zoey and Mike’s worry.
“Alright then. Mike, how have things been since you’ve merged with your personalities and defeated Mal?” Emily asked deviously to which Mike rolled his eyes.
“If you must know, I’ve been working as an actor ever since the years gone by. Mal hasn’t popped up since All Stars and hopefully it stays that way.” Mike crossed his arms sternly.
“Let’s hope, indeed.” Emily snickered to which all three contestants glared at her.
(Interview Ends)
We then cut to the inside of the plane where Mike, Zoey, and Gwen sat together when Zoey looked at Gwen in concern.
“Hey Gwen… I know things might be awkward for you having to see your old cast mates and all. If you ever need to talk, we’re here for you.” Zoey spoke reassuringly.
“Yeah, we know how rocky this show’s been for you in the past.” Mike added sympathetically.
“I’m sure it’ll be fine, guys. We’re all older now and while I am a bit worried at seeing Courtney, Duncan, and especially Heather again, I can’t let it consume me.” Gwen smiled to reassure her friend.
“I get it, I’m just a little concerned about it.” Zoey said sheepishly.
We then cut back to outside of the Jumbo Jet where Jake and Miriam were the next contestants to walk towards the hosts.
"And now here is one of Disventure Camp Season 1’s fan-favorite All Stars, Jake and he brought Miriam along too." Kristal said happily.
“Wait… isn’t Miriam not competing this season?” Chef raised an eyebrow.
“Oh don’t worry, I’m just here to see Jake off is all.” Miriam smiled reassuringly at the co-host before sharing a hug with Jake.
“Hope you have fun Jake, and just be careful of who you trust this time.” Miriam told Jake softly.
“Don’t worry, Miriam. I’ll try my best. Especially with…” Jake smiled in determination before noticing the hosts nearby, “That thing I’ve been meaning to take care of.”
Miriam gave a knowing snicker at that before sharing one last hug with Jake before they both went off in different directions with Jake heading inside the Jumbo Jet while Miriam walked away.
We then cut to Jake making it inside the Jumbo Jet when he notices Gwen and Zoey sitting nearby.
“Oh hey, Mike, Zoey, and Gwen right? I’ve watched your seasons, you girls did great.” Jake smiled at the known TD icons.
“Jake, I’m guessing? I can say the same to you, especially given your season seemed much more difficult to compete in.” Gwen smiled appreciatively whilst complimenting the boy.
“It definitely was, but Miriam really helped me through it.” Jake admitted sheepishly.
“We can tell. She was really sweet in season one after she opened up. Is she not competing this time?” Zoey asked sweetly.
“Yeah… she wanted to settle down a little after winning the last time she played but I’m playing for her in spirit.” Jake chuckled.
“What did Miriam end up doing with the money, anyway?” Mike raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
“Well she bought a house near the beach and afterwards helped me move out of my parents’ house.” Jake rubbed his arm sheepishly, the subject of his parents seeming to be a sore spot for him. The trio noticed this, so they didn’t bother pushing further though Mike is gives a very sympathetic look.
We then cut to Hunter and Ally running to the airport with their luggage when Kristal began introducing them, "And for our first budding relationship of season two, we have Hunter and Ally."
"C’mon Hunter, we're gonna be late." Ally panted heavily.
"That's an understatement because you two are already late." Chef said angrily.
"That's my bad." Hunter said nervously before realizing something as he looked through his bag, “Oh shit. Sorry Ally, I forgot the Nintendo Switch.”
"What? B-But I reminded you right before leaving." Ally gasped before speaking sternly.
"Oh, I probably was distracted then." Hunter facepalmed.
"Semi-good news, for this season we feel the contestants should not have contact with the outside world so electronics are prohibited." Kristal smirked.
"Well… that worked out." Hunter chuckled nervously.
"Still, it feels like you ignore me when I ask you something." Ally narrowed her eyes.
"I think you should probably handle your relationship issues during the flight. Off you go." Chef said with a smirk.
We then see Hunter and Ally walk in the jet to see Jake, Mike, Gwen, and Zoey in their seats.
"Hey guys. Great to meet you in person." Hunter said happily.
"Pleasure’s ours'." Gwen said in an accommodating tone before Mike spoke up.
“Hey, where’s Tess if you don’t mind me asking? I thought you guys were a tightly knit trio?” Mike asked kindly.
“Oh… she went to study in New York.” Ally answered in an awkward tone.
“We haven’t seen her in months but we’re seeing her soon.” Hunter added with an equally awkward smile.
(Interview: Hunter and Ally)
"So Ally, how have you been dealing with all the haters?" Emily asked.
"Oh, fans are great. I love the fans. It's… the haters I could do without." Ally rubbed her arm nervously.
"Yes. Especially after how me and Ally went public about going out." Hunter agreed.
"I hate having to deal with that all the time." Ally sighed.
(Interview Ends)
We then cut to the outside of the Private Jet where Owen and Noah were walking towards the hosts.
“And it’s everybody’s favorite Reality TV duo, Owen and Noah!” Chef introduced happily which caused Owen to wave happily while Noah just gave a blank stare.
“Mind explaining why the two of you are so late?” Kristal asked angrily.
“Owen recently got his driver’s license so I decided to let him drive us. Unfortunately he took a couple wrong turns because he’s not that good at reading a GPS.” Noah explained blandly.
“I’m sorry. This whole driving thing’s new to me.” Owen said apologetically.
“Whatever. Just get on the damn plane.” Kristal rolled her eyes before Noah and Owen did just that.
Once Owen and Noah got on the plane, Tom immediately came running towards the airport with a duffel bag while Jo and Duncan casually walked towards the hosts.
“Next we have our ex-secret agent, Tom, former jailbird Duncan, and hardcore Jockette Jo.” Kristal introduced the three contestants with an annoyed look.
“What took so long, aren't spies, convicts, and jocks supposed to be fast?" Kristal asked angrily.
“Meh, traffic is just a pain is all.” Duncan shrugged amicably.
“Piercings isn’t wrong, you’d be surprised with how much bullshit goes on in the road.” Jo nodded in agreement before the two walked towards the jet which no one complained about.
"Oh, sorry. Met a familiar face at TSA. We were officers in training together and-" Tom began before Kristal narrowed her eyes.
"Did I ask?" Kristal asked angrily.
"Uh… yeah…" Tom said in confusion.
"Move it buster." Kristal pointed to the jet entrance causing him to walk in.
We then cut to the inside of the private jet where Jo didn’t bother greeting her fellow castmates and sat down at the nearest available seat while Duncan walked along the rows of seats before his eyes landed on where Gwen, Zoey, and Mike were sitting. The punk and goth both stared wide-eyed at each other before Duncan broke the silence.
“Uh… hey Gwen. It’s been a while, huh?” Duncan smiled awkwardly.
“It really has. How have things been with you lately?” Gwen asked with a sheepish grin.
“Well… I did get out of jail a couple months ago so that’s good.” Duncan said, scratching the back of his neck before walking to find a seat, “Good luck in the game.”
“Nice seeing you again, Duncan.” Zoey called out happily in an attempt to ease the tension and while Duncan did smile at her, his demeanor did not change much.
“Well that was super tense.” Noah remarked with an oddly sympathetic look.
“On the bright side, it can’t get any worse.” Owen smiled hopefully.
Soon enough, Tom also began walking through the plane before stopping where Jake was.
“Uhhhhh… hello.” Tom greeted awkwardly.
“Tom… it's been… how have you been?" Jake asked with a nervous smile.
"Well, uh, busy with work." Tom answered, trying his best to remain vague.
“Do you… wanna catch up on things?” Jake asked sheepishly.
“Uh… I kinda need to get my head in the game right now… we’ll talk later.” Tom stammered before walking to a seat further away from Jake much to the latter’s sadness.
“You were saying?” Jo smirked at Owen’s earlier comment.
“I’ll shut up now.” Owen sighed miserably.
We then cut back to outside the airport where Kristal was tapping her foot impatiently while Chef looked concerned.
“This is taking forever. Where’s Dawn? We need to head to New York soon?!” Kristal asked incredulously.
“Heck if I know. That girl is something else, I’ll tell you.” Chef scoffed before a soft voice spoke up.
“Sorry I’m late.”
Both Kristal and Chef jerked back and widened their eyes as they saw Dawn smiling peacefully at them.
“Traffic is awful in this day and age. I’ll just take a seat and get out of your hair.” Dawn reassured the hosts before walking in the jet.
“That girl is all kinds of strange.” Chef shuddered.
After that, we see a map outline as the private jet begins heading to an airport in New York.
We then cut to the inside of that exact airport to show that Ellie and Gabby were waiting at the seats with Gabby noticing that her girlfriend was clearly distressed.
"Are you okay? You seem a little down." Gabby asked in concern.
"It just feels a little strange. Going back to where it all began." Ellie explained solemnly.
"A good strange or a bad strange?" Gabby asked curiously.
"Both. I'm happy to get another chance to win but the bad memories keep coming back." Ellie explained sadly.
"Aw, don't worry. I'm sure this year is our year to shine." Gabby spread her arms out happily which brought a smile to Ellie's face.
Suddenly we see Tess of all people walk towards the couple which made Ellie smile.
"Hi. The plane hasn't arrived yet? I thought I was late." Tess asked happily.
"Nah. It seems they're a little late. Did you see my text?" Ellie asked her with a smile.
"No. I was stuck in New York's lovely traffic." Tess rolled her eyes.
"Oh my gosh. That’s Tess from season two! Didn’t you say you knew her?!” Gabby asked her girlfriend excitedly.
"Yeah, we study at the same university. I met her at orientation." Ellie said happily.
"Oh wow." Gabby said in awe.
"Nice to meet you, Gabby. You two make for a great couple. It's uncommon for that to come from a trashy reality show." Tess admitted earnestly.
“Tell me about it. Out of all the couples in our cast, only four relationships have stayed together such as Harold and Leshawna, Tyler and Lindsay, Geoff and Bridgette, and Alejandro and Heather. And that’s excluding temporary breakups.” A familiar geeky voice spoke from behind the girls as they saw Cody walking towards the group with Leshawna before realizing the raised eyebrows in his direction
“I think Harold and Sierra have rubbed off on you more than I’d like to admit.” Leshawna chuckled as they approached the girls himself with an apologetic grin, “Sorry about that.”
“Surprised that you two are even here? Don’t you two live in Canada?” Ellie asked curiously.
“The Drama Brothers have recently been getting more gigs in New York so we kinda had to start living here for a while. Leshawna’s done the same for Harold’s sake.” Cody explained with a sheepish grin to which Leshawna smiled at the thought of Harold before smirking.
“Yeah, but I can be without Harold for a bit if it means I have the chance at another million big ones.” Leshawna spoke proudly.
“What Cody’s saying is true.” Brick smiled as he and Scott walked over to the scene with the dirt farmer looking bored while the cadet looked pleased to be there, “I’ve seen some of their concerts.”
“Trust him, he never shuts up about it so I know he’s not lying.” Scott said with a roll of his eyes but there was no real bite to his tone which Brick gave a knowing smirk at before addressing his fellow competitors.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you all. I’m sure it’s an honor that we were all chosen for this season.” Brick spoke optimistically.
“An honor is one way to put it.” Ellie said, pessimistic about the situation.
“Oh, I remember you. I saw your interviews. They were hilarious.” Scott complimented with a snicker to which Brick bumped the dirt farmer with his elbow to silence him much to Scott’s annoyance but he said nothing.
“Ugh. Finally found the right gate.” Courtney grunted in annoyance as she walked over to her fellow contestants, “The directions in this airport are so tacky.”
Courtney then noticed Scott and Cody staring awkwardly at her which caused the geek to try speaking up to make things less awkward.
“Uh… hey Courtney. How have things been?” Cody asked with a nervous smile.
“Busy as usual, but I never miss an opportunity to try and win so here I am.” Courtney rolled her eyes at Cody’s lame attempt to start a conversation before she and Scott locked eyes with each other.
“Uh… hey Courtney. Look, about last time-“ Scott began before suddenly, a ding was heard which made Ellie stiffen a little before sighing.
“Here they come.” Ellie said solemnly.
We then cut to the inside of the private jet where Hunter and Ally were waiting in their seats when Tess walked over to them causing both to smile.
"Ally, Hunter, where has the time gone?" Tess smiled at the couple.
"Aw. Samesies." Ally cooed before the three embraced in a group hug.
"How have you been Tess?" Hunter asked once they released each other from their embrace.
"Can't complain." Tess smirked proudly.
(Interview: Tess)
“Tell us Tess, what is your main motivation for returning to the show?” Emily asked curiously.
“To tell you the truth, I just came to spend time with Ally and Hunter. I haven’t seen them in months. Returning to relive the days we first met could be fun.” Tess smiled optimistically.
“So you’re not at all bothered by Hunter and Ally becoming a thing?” Emily asked smugly.
“No, I’m happy for them. I actually motivated Ally to confront things with Hunter.” Tess admitted fondly.
“Fair enough. So apparently you’re friends with Ellie now. How were you able to look past all her actions in season one?” Emily smirked, wanting to garner some drama.
“After dealing with the likes of James and Riya, I felt like judging Ellie for her past would be a little unfair to her, especially since the Ellie I know from outside the game is way different than the Ellie inside the game.” Tess explained with a fond smile.
(Interview Ends)
After that, Leshawna and Cody begin walking through the rows of seats before they noticed a friendly familiar face in Gwen.
“Hey Gwen, nice to see you again. How’s it going?” Cody said happily.
“Hey Cody and Leshawna. I’ve been doing well.” Gwen smiled back.
“I’ll say.” Leshawna smiled, “Glad that we’re all competing again.”
“That I can agree with.” Gwen chuckled while Mike and Zoey smiled at the scene.
(Interview: Cody and Leshawna)
“Cody and Leshawna, how does it feel to be returning to competing after so long?” Emily asked with a smirk.
“Oh it’s awesome, Emily. I always felt the need to redeem myself after the last time I competed in this show, given the situation with Alejandro and all.” Leshawna smirked confidently.
“Oh, I can definitely see why.” Emily nodded before turning to the geek, “Cody, fans are wondering right now what girl you’re interested in, whether it be Gwen or Sierra?”
“Sorry to break people’s hearts but I’m not in a relationship with either of them. At this point, Gwen and Sierra are basically just two of my best friends.” Cody smiled brightly.
“Well that’s a cliche answer if there ever was one.” Emily sighed as she rolled her eyes.
(Interview Ends)
Courtney was the next to walk in the jet, not speaking a word to anyone as she went to find her seat. She did take a brief glimpse at Gwen and Duncan for a moment but quickly forced herself not to look at them.
(Interview: Courtney)
“Courtney-“ Emily began before Courtney interrupted.
“If you’re going to ask about how I feel about Gwen, Duncan, and Scott nowadays, spare me the drivel because I do NOT want to talk about them right now.” Courtney said angrily, “I’m purely here to win the game and nothing else. That is all.”
“Geez, way to ruin the fun.” Emily crossed her arms indignantly.
(Interview Ends)
Once that interview was over, we see Brick and Scott approaching near where Jo, Zoey, Mike, and Dawn were all sitting.
“Guys, it’s been forever since we last competed. How have you all been?” Brick asked happily.
“It’s been great! Thanks for asking.” Zoey smiled brightly.
“Really good to see you again, Brick.” Mike said happily before turning to Scott with an awkward smile, “Scott, glad to see you’ve been keeping good company.”
“Thanks I guess.” Scott rolled his eyes before he noticed Dawn staring at him curiously which concerned him, “Uh… you’re not still bitter about your elimination, are you…”
“No. I’ve pretty much moved on from it at this point. It’s clear that your aura has grown brighter since when we first played.” Dawn smiled reassuringly.
“Thanks…” Scott raised a confused eyebrow.
After that exchange, Brick and Jo also stared at each other skeptically before Brick spoke up.
“I would also like to make it clear I have no hard feelings for last time we played as well.” Brick informed the Jockette formally to which Jo rolled her eyes.
“Good. You did cost us the challenge that day after all.” Jo smirked to which Brick rolled his eyes at the response but didn’t argue.
(Interview: Scott and Brick)
We then cut to Scott and Brick sitting at the interview room with Emily.
“Brick and Scott, you two are certainly a surprising duo we didn’t expect to see on this show. Mind filling us in on your new friendship?” Emily asked with a smirk.
“Simple. Both of us ended up going to the same university and since we knew each other, conversation became easy enough.” Scott shrugged.
“It certainly helps that Scott’s mellowed out from how he used to be in Revenge.” Brick added helpfully.
“Aren’t you worried that Scott will go back to his dirty tricks now that he’s competing again?” Emily asked curiously.
“Not at all.” Brick waved off, “Total Drama is a cutthroat game and from what I saw of this show, it’s even more cutthroat. As long as Scott doesn’t go too far and knows what limits to keep, it should be fine.”
Scott gives a genuine smile at that answer to which Emily rolls her eyes.
“Boring.” Emily sighed before turning to Scott, “Scott, how does it feel to be competing with your ex-girlfriend this time around?”
“A bit awkward, not gonna lie, but I’m hoping to mend bridges with her anyway so I may as well do so here.” Scott said awkwardly.
(Interview Ends)
After that interview, we cut to Ellie and Gabby walking inside the jet and as she entered, she was greeted to dirty looks from Jake and Tom while others like Owen, Gwen, Zoey, and Mike immediately felt awkward at seeing her.
“Uh… is anyone going to greet me?” Ellie asked with a hopeful smile.
“Hi.” Owen spoke softly as he waved with a nervous smile.
“Look, I could forgive everything from last season but those interviews!!!” Tom said angrily.
"C'mon guys. That was two years ago, are you still mad over that?" Ellie said, trying to ease the tension.
"How can we not be mad?! You dragged us down on live television." Jake said angrily.
Ellie briefly looked hurt by Jake’s remark before her expression turned cold.
“Whatever. Hold your grudge.” Ellie said coldly, “Let’s go Gabs.”
Ellie then walked towards her seat while Gabby smiled briefly at Tom and waved to him before joining her girlfriend. Everyone on the plane soon went quiet after that confrontation, with Tess looking at Ellie with a worried frown.
(Interview: Ellie and Gabby)
"Ellie, we have some insider info that your fellow competitors are not so happy about what you said in your post game interviews. How do you feel about that?" Emily asked vindictively.
"I thought they’d get over that. It’s been almost two years since we last played and… I couldn’t have said anything that bad.” Ellie spoke defensively.
Emily just smirked and the tv screen nearby immediately began playing Ellie's interviews.
“How would I describe my feelings towards my fellow castmates? Well let’s just say that Gabby and Drew are the only ones I can say anything positive on.
First off, I heard from that Total Drama fangirl’s blogs on this show that Tom still ignores Jake's calls. I can’t exactly blame him. Dealing with Jake should count as community service. And Tom's no better, for someone who tries to be a spy, he sure doesn't do a good job at it. The only job he’s worse at is communicating properly.
Grett is honestly one of if not the worst person I've ever met. I heard she's flipped things around recently but I don't buy it, especially after she treated my girlfriend.
Alec told Fiore he wished his son was more like him. First of all, his standard for children is seriously alarming and second of all, if I was Alec's son I'd never want to see my dad again. I mean, poor kid. He said that on international TV. He's a real piece of work.
I barely spoke to Dan, Lill, Ashley, Nick, and Will but from what I saw, all Dan did was give Gabby a miserable experience while claiming to be her friend, Will’s too cowardly for his own good, Nick’s a spoiled brat, and Lill and Ashley are so morally uptight, acting so hurt by the fact I didn’t vote with them as if they weren’t just going to kick me off the moment Fiore was no longer a problem.
And finally, Miriam… she may be the person I hate the most in this cast! Faking a heart attack just to test my sympathies. She's twisted as all can be. And she acts like she's so much better than Fiore!”
We then cut to Gabby and Ellie back at the interview where Ellie was cringing at her old interview.
“Maybe you went a little overboard.” Gabby admitted sheepishly.
“Well… I needed the money from those interviews and I was still really angry over my elimination last season, among other things.” Ellie said awkwardly before glaring at Emily, “Still, they need to get over it.”
(Interview Ends)
We then cut to the outside of an airport where Connor was standing nearby when he smiled at seeing Riya walking towards him wearing a fur coat and some sunglasses.
"Hey Riya, looking good." Connor said happily.
"Thanks. I know." Riya replied smugly.
"Hey… we never talked about what you said on TV last week. You didn't mean any of that, did you?" Connor asked curiously.
"It was nothing. I was just telling the fans what they wanted to hear. I have a certain reputation to uphold y'know." Riya said nervously.
"I-I know but it still kinda hurt." Connor admitted sheepishly causing Riya to look away guiltily though Connor didn't see it behind the sunglasses.
We currently see Riya standing on a stage with a microphone on a podium when an offscreen audience member began asking her questions.
"Oh Riya. Fans are talking about a new All Star season of Disventure Camp AND Total Drama. Would you participate with a new strategy?"
"Yes, I would participate and definitely with a new strategy." Riya smirked.
"What do you regret most on your Disventure Camp journey?"
"My only mistake was choosing Connor as a helper in the final. All he did was slow me down. If I had chosen Karol, I would've won." Riya explained with a seemingly annoyed tone.
After that flashback, we then see Anne Maria walk towards the scene with a pleasant grin on her face.
“Hey there. Is this the airport for the All Stars season?” Anne Maria asked happily.
“You bet it is. You’re from Total Drama, I’m guessing?” Connor nodded.
“In the flesh. I’m from the Revenge cast though so it’s fair you didn’t recognize me.” Anne Maria shrugged with a smirk.
One flash cut later and we see Anne Maria walk inside the private jet as she tried to find a seat before coming across where Gwen, Zoey, and Mike were sitting, making the atmosphere immediately awkward.
“Hey Anne Maria… nice to see you chose to compete.” Zoey smiled sheepishly.
“Hey Zoey.” Anne Maria said with a neutral smile, “Of course I’d jump at the chance to compete again. I was robbed back in our season after all.”
“Considering the diamond situation… I can’t say you’re wrong.” Zoey chuckled before Anne Maria and Mike made awkward eye contact before the latter spoke.
“Uh… hey Anne Maria.” Mike said with a polite smile.
“Hey Mike.” Anne Maria said noncommittally before walking off, “I better find a seat before the plane fills up.”
Zoey looked concerned as Anne Maria walked off while Mike just sighed in disappointment.
(Interview: Anne Maria)
“Anne Maria, I’m surprised you chose to compete again considering how your last season ended.” Emily smirked deviously.
“I was robbed, simple as that. I may as well try competing in this shindig again.” Anne Maria shrugged.
“How do you feel at the prospect of competing with Zoey and Mike again, especially after the fact Mike never cleared things up about his disorder and you got a bit of a villain edit in the show?” Emily asked with a smirk.
“The producers love exaggerating things in these love triangles, don’t they?” Anne Maria rolled her eyes, “After Season 4 ended, Zoey and Mike apologized to me about Vito in the ROTI group chat as soon as they could. I obviously forgave them, especially since the whole situation was just messy overall… though I can’t help but feel like I’m missing some closure when I look at Mike.”
(Interview Ends)
After that, we see Connor enter the jet with bags in hand with a smile.
"Heyyyyyyy! What's going on guys? Long time, no see." Connor asked enthusiastically as he stopped by Hunter, Ally, and Tess’ seats.
"Hey Connor." Hunter smiled back, “Glad to see you again.”
Soon Riya walked onboard causing Hunter, Ally, and Tess to look away from her nervously, when she walked near Gabby and Ellie, the former immediately squealed.
"Oh my gosh! Riya! I'm a huge fan! You did amazing in your last movie, congrats on the Emmy." Gabby said happily.
"It should've come sooner but I'll accept it nonetheless." Riya replied smugly.
“Attention everyone, we’re about to make a turbulent landing. Hang on to something!” Kristal’s voice rang from the loudspeaker.
We then see that the private jet soon landed on a farm ground, demolishing a fence, where Will and Ashley were standing nearby.
“Uh… I’ll fix that while you’re gone.” Will said sheepishly.
“At least they didn’t land in the cornfield.” Ashley said in annoyance.
“Well regardless, have fun Ashley. Kick some ass sweetie.” Will encouraged his girlfriend.
“You betcha babe.” Ashley smirked back before the two shared a kiss and the cowgirl got on the plane.
We then cut to Ashley in the private jet before addressing her fellow castmates, “Howdy y’all.”
“How are you all doing?” Ashley asked happily as she sat near Ellie and Gabby.
“I’m ecstatic. Woohoo!” Gabby cheered excitedly as Ellie gave Ashley a nervous gaze.
“Look, if you’re worried about the interviews, I’m not mad about them. What you said did hurt but it’s water under the bridge at this point. We’re alright.” Ashley told Ellie reassuringly, which made Ellie relax a little.
We then see James, Aiden, and Lake at the outside of an airport while Rosa Maria was seeing them off, with Rosa Maria holding her daughter Sofia.
"Bye Rosa. We'll see you when we get back." Lake smiled at her best friend and found family member.
"Good luck Aunt Lake, Uncle Aiden, and Uncle James." Sofia smiled as the five shared a group hug.
"Have fun guys, and be careful who you trust this time." Rosa Maria advised the boys.
"I still wish you were coming with us." James admitted solemnly, "It would've been fun to compete together, after all."
"I know but I can't leave Sofia again." Rosa Maria said as Sofia embraced her mother, “You three will represent us well. Kick Yul in the nuts for me.”
“With pleasure.” Lake replied confidently before the jet landed nearby.
"Welp, here they are." James said as he, Aiden, and Lake shared a smile.
We then cut to inside the plane where Lake, James, and Aiden entered before Lake began greeting everyone.
“Hey guys. How have you been?” Lake asked happily.
“Hey Lake, just busy with my art courses but otherwise just excited for this mini-vacation.” Tess greeted her fellow castmate.
“Lake, nice to finally meet you. I read your book about the Prince and the Knight and I loved it.” Jake said excitedly.
“Thank you. Although that book wouldn’t have been a success without Tess’ illustrations.” Lake said gratefully as Tess smiled at her.
We then see James and Aiden looking for their seats when Aiden notices Riya and Connor sitting nearby with Riya smirking mockingly at the e-boy, prompting him to speak up.
“I’m still waiting for an apology for almost letting me DIE.” Aiden said angrily, making both James and Connor feel tense. Riya also looked concerned before masking it with a smirk.
“Keep waiting, loser.” Riya dismissed him, making Aiden huff as he and James left the scene while James followed. Connor just looked concerned.
(Interview: James and Aiden)
"James, you won a million dollars last season and now we're watching you travel with Aiden around the world. Tell us, how have you been spending that prize?" Emily smirked.
"Well Emily, we've been enjoying every moment." James smiled, "Aiden loves to travel, y'know. We just went to Brazil to visit my sister."
"Boring." Emily rolled her eyes, "Aiden, do you still hold some resentment towards James for using you to gain followers."
“Well… it was a tough milestone to get over at the beginning of our relationship and while I still disapprove of James’ intentions beforehand, I do understand he’s trying to change and I’m open to giving second chances.” Aiden answered, as he and James smiled at each other.
“Ugh, is any of this footage from the DC2 cast even remotely drama worthy?” Emily rolled her eyes.
(Interview Ends)
We then see the jet going across the map again when we stop at another runway where Alec was waiting when suddenly Grett walked to stand by next to him, looking a little more slim since he last saw her.
"Grett?" Alec said in surprise, "You look… different."
"Thank you I suppose." Grett smiled sheepishly, "I have… worked on myself since last time we played, both inside and out."
"I guess the rumors are true." Alec admitted in surprise.
"I made some… mistakes since last season." Grett admitted solemnly.
"We all did." Alec sighed.
"This time is a chance to end the game on a less sour note." Grett said happily.
"So is what you said on Twitter true? Have you really changed and regret the things you did?" Alec asked curiously.
"It was kind of shocking to see how annoying I was on live television, and while I do regret most things, I’m certainly not going easy on anyone." Grett admitted before smirking.
"Appreciate the honesty I suppose." Alec shrugged before a familiar accented voice spoke from behind him.
“I agree. Honesty is the best policy as they say.”
Alec then turned to see the villainous couple Alejandro and Heather walking towards the two DC1 villains.
“Well most of the time at least but we’ll see what happens in the show.” Heather added with a devious smirk.
“It’s no wonder I fell for you.” Alejandro smirked as he put an arm around Heather’s shoulder much to Alec’s disgust before the private jet parked nearby.
“A private jet?! Since when do they have the budget for that?” Alec asked in confusion.
(Interview: Alejandro and Heather)
“If it isn’t everyone’s favorite villainous couple.” Emily said with a smirk as she addressed Alejandro and Heather, “Tell us, what strategies do you have this time around?”
“Ah ah ah. Patience is key. That will be a surprise for later.” Alejandro smirked deviously which Heather smirked back at.
“Still as evil as ever, huh? Tell us, do you two plan on double crossing one another this time around?” Emily asked smugly which made Alejandro and Heather stop smirking before looking at each other skeptically.
“We’ll cross that bridge when we need to.” Heather narrowed her eyes, but whether it was directed at Alejandro or Emily, no one could say.
(Interview: Alec)
"Alec, it's been two years. What made you come back to this show?" Emily asked with a smirk.
"Money." Alec said briefly.
"You are one of the few to not make any huge TV appearances since your season. Mind filling us in?" Emily questioned.
"You missed nothing." Alec waved the question off, "I'm just not in love with the camera like everyone else."
"Can you divulge about the situation with your ex-wife?" Emily asked happily.
"No. Let's change the subject." Alec commanded in annoyance.
"What about this photo?" Emily asked happily as it showed a photo of Alec leaning against a bar table unconscious.
"Okay. We are done here." Alec cried out furiously.
(Interview Ends)
Soon enough, Alejandro, Heather, Alec and Grett began walking in the jet when Kristal began speaking.
"Next destination-" Kristal began when Grett immediately spoke up.
"Wait! You forgot Yul! He's in town for business but he told me he's running late." Grett informed the host.
"Huh?" Connor raised an eyebrow, "How do you know Yul?"
"Does he not know?" James raised an eyebrow towards Aiden.
Soon we see Yul immediately walk inside the jet furiously.
"Ugh! Finally! A dumb marching band blocked the exit for five minutes! Should've just run them over!" Yul cried out angrily.
"How did he nearly make the merge again?” Mike whispered to Zoey, aghast by Yul’s repulsive behavior.
"Hello baby!" Grett gasped happily as she ran over towards Yul.
"Baby?!" Hunter asked incredulously before Grett and Yul immediately began kissing much to the horror and disgust of pretty much everyone on the plane.
“Oh… I think I’m gonna be sick.” Owen gagged as his face turned green before Noah covered his mouth.
“It’s not worth it.” Noah said sternly.
(Interview: Grett)
"Grett, many of us wonder how you met Yul?" Riya smirked.
"His manager introduced us during a brand deal. Yul and I really hit it off. He's been my spicy abed boyfriend ever since." Grett smiled giddily.
"Weren't you concerned after the way he behaved in his season? How did you guys make it work?" Emily asked curiously.
"The Yul I know is much different than the one seen on television. Same with myself, we all have the right to change." Grett smirked confidently.
(Interview Ends)
"That's right. She's my girlfriend now." Yul said snootily.
"Girlfriend? Aren't you gay?" Riya smirked teasingly.
"Absolutely not! I'm as straight as can be! Now shut up before things get ugly!" Yul narrowed his eyes at the movie star before his phone began ringing to which he answered it immediately. What was said on the other line went unheard but Yul immediately widened his eyes and shifted his demeanor.
"Sorry… what I meant to say is I do not belong to the LGBTIZ community, but you should not make such serious assumptions." Yul said with a smile though it was clearly directed at the camera.
(Interview: Yul)
"Yul, we haven't heard from you since last season's finale and now in a few weeks you're in the spotlight with Grett as a new couple. Tell us everything." Emily smiled.
"After my season, I had some trouble finding new dance contracts. I blame my old manager. He made me look like an idiot on international television." Yul cried out furiously.
"Weren't you the one who said all those racist things?" Emily asked angrily.
"Um… that's false information. I only said the things my manager advised me to say and look where that got me!" Yul said angrily before smiling, "Fortunately I fired him the minute I got back home and hired a new one so no biggie. This time I'll get to show people the real me."
(Interview Ends)
We then cut to the inside of what seemed to be a Catholic school while a nun was overseeing Fiore writing "I will not shoot tranquilizers at the nuns" on a chalkboard as some punishment and from what she was writing, it was clear what she was being punished for.
Suddenly they both heard a plane engine which made Fiore smirk.
"A plane?" The nun asked curiously before Fiore threw a book at her which allowed her to run and jump out the nearest window and run outside onto the jet where Chef was waiting.
"Close the door!" Fiore cried out as Chef smirked and once the nun walked towards the jet, he pulled out a stack of cash from his pocket which made the nun smirk.
"I didn't see anything." She said before Chef went back in the jet and then it began getting ready to fly once again.
"Is this even legal?” Ashley asked with a raised eyebrow as Fiore walked across the plane.
"That's a child." Yul said incredulously.
"And that's an ugly pimply bitch." Fiore scoffed, causing Yul to look on in shock while the likes of Alejandro, Heather, Scott, Jo, and Ellie smirked at Fiore’s insult.
We then cut to later in the day where the jet was still flying throughout the skies. Hunter was playing with a rubix cube, Owen was snoring loudly while Noah was wearing an eye mask and earplugs signifying he was also sleeping, Yul and Grett were sleeping beside each other, so were James and Aiden, Duncan was carving a skull onto the side of his seat, Ellie was sketching on a notebook with Gabby sleeping beside her shoulder, Courtney was reading a book about law, Riya was typing on her phone in boredom, and Alec was crossing his arms and ignoring Fiore's presence, something the demon child took notice of.
"Are you really going to ignore me the entire flight?!" Fiore asked incredulously to which Alec did not answer.
"Oh come on. Are you really that angry?" Fiore crossed her arms.
"You realize that you are the one to blame for most of the problems I've had for the last two years, right?" Alec asked sternly.
"You have no one to blame but yourself for that." Fiore scoffed indignantly causing Alec to look away in a bit of shame but immediately glared at Fiore to hide it.
Back with Cody and Leshawna, the latter was beginning to grow impatient with how long the flight was taking.
“My butt might fall asleep before we land.” Leshawna rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"It looks like we're almost there." Cody said with a raised eyebrow.
Soon Kristal and Chef walked over and the former began speaking into her megaphone, "Now let's welcome this season's staff."
Soon Marcus walked over causing Kristal to continue speaking.
"Marcus, our bus driver who will be taking our voted out campers to the Losers Motel." Kristal said happily.
"Howdy everybody." Marcus waved nonchalantly.
"Where's that scary puppet from last season?" Aiden asked curiously.
Suddenly from behind Marcus, the puppet known as Nina suddenly appeared from behind him.
"Boo! Mwahahahahahahahahaha." The puppet laughed evilly, "Miss me, morons."
“Barely.” Aiden rolled his eyes.
"Oliver, our assistant director. Who will be making sure that the challenges are safe." Chef announced as Oliver walked over happily.
"Hey Oliver, congrats on the promotion buddy." Connor congratulated the little guy.
"Aw, thanks Connor. I'll be happy to help you all in any way I can." Oliver smiled back.
"Emily." Kristal said as Emily walked over to the scene much to most of the contestants' annoyance.
"What is she doing here?" Grett asked incredulously.
"Asking impertinent questions like always, I assume." Alec crossed his arms.
"Emily will be the production assistant and of course will help dig up drama from the confessionals." Chef chuckled.
"And no season would be complete without the interns." Kristal reminded the contestants, causing Oliver to playfully hum to himself.
"Hmmm, I wonder who they could be." Oliver smirked.
"Welcome the former hosts from season one, Derek and Trevor." Kristal smirked as Trevor and Derek walked out of the curtain with only Trevor being the one to smile.
"Hey guys." Trevor waved nervously.
"What are they doing here?" Tom asked incredulously.
"Weren't they in jail?" Gabby added.
"Yes. I paid their bail." Kristal smirked back.
"Does money solve everything these days?" Gabby asked Ellie solemnly.
"Ahahahahahahahahahahaha. Oh how the mighty have fallen." Fiore snarked with a smirk.
"I guess you two can call me boss now." Oliver said happily.
"Oh my god Trevor, I told you this was a mistake." Derek told his friend angrily.
"It's not like we had a lot of options, Derek." Trevor scoffed.
We then cut to the plane going further down the map and then cut back to the inside of the plane where Chef began speaking.
"Alright contestants, the time has come and we're currently flying over Camp Tipiskaw." Chef smiled excitedly before Kristal spoke up.
"Unfortunately we have been denied permission to land so this means you'll have to go out by parachute." Kristal explained as she and Chef held up a parachute.
"WHAT?!" Aiden cried out in horror.
Soon after, Trevor opened the plane door causing Chef and Kristal to hand their parachutes to Derek and Trevor.
"Derek. Trevor. Please demonstrate." Chef smirked as Derek and Trevor looked nervously at each other before they saw Emily smirking from behind them.
"Wait what are you-" Trevor began asking Emily before she pushed the two out of the plane, causing the rest of the contestants to look on in fear.
"While plummeting, you must open your parachute which will reveal to you the color of your team and in the backpack, you will also find a map which will direct you to your teams' campsite." Kristal smirked at the contestants.
"Camp?" Cody asked in shock.
"What about the cabins?" Heather asked with more annoyance than shock.
Chef and Kristal both laughed at the mention of cabins before Chef recovered first.
"One more thing, you are prohibited from bringing your luggage, belongings, and electronics." Chef then spoke up.
"What?! I didn't agree to that." Riya said furiously.
"What if we don't jump?" Jake asked curiously.
"If a million dollars isn't enough of a reason, for this season we tripled the prize. This season will have the winner going home with three million dollars!" Kristal said happily, causing some contestants to smile at the notion of gape in shock.
“Whoa… that’s actually pretty tempting.” Gwen admitted with wide eyes.
"Okay. Give me that damn parachute." Ellie sighed.
Soon after, pretty much every contestant began jumping out of the plane and soon after, Oliver, Chef, and Kristal were alone on the plane.
"Where's my parachute?" Oliver asked.
"Oh don't worry about that, little buddy. We'll land in a few minutes." Chef said reassuringly.
"But what about-" Oliver began.
"We were lying." Kristal laughed.
"Ohhhhhhhh. Good one." Oliver remarked playfully.
We then see Ellie and Gabby flying through the skies together and then opening their parachutes, much to their shared joy, their parachutes both showed the color Cyan.
"Yes!" Gabby cheered.
We then see Hunter, Ally, and Tess open up their parachutes. Hunter and Ally were fortunate enough to both get a Magenta parachute, Tess unfortunately got a Cyan one.
"Oh no. Tess." Ally cried out in horror.
"Everything will be okay. Focus on yourselves." Tess reassured the couple.
Jake looked a little uneasy as it was revealed he had opened a Magenta parachute. Afterwards, Tom flew towards him and opened his parachute, it turned out to be Cyan much to Jake's worry.
After that, we see Alejandro and Heather pulling the cords of their parachutes as well before it was revealed that Alejandro got a Yellow parachute and Heather got a Magenta one. Both of them nearly sighed in relief before catching themselves.
“Well then, until the merge I suppose?” Alejandro smirked teasingly at Heather who smirked back.
“That’s assuming you end up merging.” Heather teased back.
Soon enough, Owen and Noah also pulled at their parachute cords and we cut to a close up of Owen getting a Yellow parachute.
“Oh buddy, look! It matches the color of my hair! This is awesome!” Owen cheered ecstatically before noticing that Noah was wearing a Cyan parachute.
“Oh… less awesome…” Owen sighed downtrodden.
“Yeeeeeep.” Noah sighed.
Soon afterwards: Mike, Zoey, Gwen, Leshawna, and Cody were seen opening their parachutes next with Zoey getting a Yellow parachute, Mike and Leshawna getting Cyan, and Gwen and Cody getting Magenta.
Meanwhile Connor and Riya were next to open their parachutes and much to Connor's joy, both were Yellow.
"Boo-yah! Let's go Riya. We're gonna be together." Connor smirked.
"Ohhhhhhhh, that's fabulous." Riya smiled nervously.
We then see Aiden, James, and Lake open their parachutes next and while Aiden and Lake had Cyan parachutes, James had a Magenta one.
“J-James… don’t do anything crazy on your team, okay.” Aiden said worriedly.
“Don’t worry. I’ll behave.” James smirked reassuringly.
We then see Alec, Yul, and Grett were floating on their Yellow parachutes nearby with Alec observing the villain couple in curiosity, Ashley was glaring Fiore down as both of them were revealed to have Magenta parachutes, Brick and Jo stared at each other skeptically as both were revealed to have Magenta parachutes, Scott and Courtney looked concerned as they saw both of them had Yellow parachutes, Dawn was meditating as she wore a Cyan parachute, and Duncan just crossed his arms with a bored stare as he wore a Cyan parachute.
Finally, we see Kristal smirking as she was looking at the scene through her binoculars before tossing them away.
"God, I miss this show. Finally we have our thirty-three contestants on their respective teams and this time competing for three million dollars. There will be no cabins, dining hall, bathrooms, or showers." Kristal said happily, "Instead our participants will only have a camping tent and basic supplies. New challenges, new twists, and with three teams formed only one question remains on who will be eliminated first."
Chapter Text
“Previously on Totally Disventurous All Stars! We went around the world on our private jet to collect the thirty three All Stars. Some reunions were friendly and tender but others, not so much. We finally returned to Camp Tipiskaw where the contestants were forced to jump out of a plane. Their parachutes revealed the color of their new team. All campers are now each on their way to their respective camps. Now the only question is who will suffer the humiliating title of being the first voted out." Kristal narrated.
(After theme song)
We begin this episode with Fiore floating down towards the ground on her parachute and much to her relief, she had landed safely.
“Phew. That wasn’t so bad.” Fiore sighed in relief but that relief was soon taken back once Ashley landed on Fiore much to the child’s discomfort.
“Oops.” Ashley said somewhat remorsefully.
“Hey! Watch where you’re landing!” Fiore shouted furiously.
“My bad. Never used one of these doohickeys in my life.” Ashley admitted in embarrassment.
“I can tell.” Fiore dully responded before Ashley realized they both had Magenta parachutes.
“Oh crud. We’re on the same team.” Ashley said in annoyance.
“Again. Fine. We might as well find our camp.” Fiore sighed before the two walked off.
We then see Tom holding a map as he was guiding Jake throughout the forest.
"Um, I think this is where we split." Tom sheepishly admitted, "Your camp is on the right and mine's down this left path."
"Wait Tom, on the jet you mentioned we'd get a chance to talk and seeing as we aren't on the same team, this may be our last chance." Jake twiddled his fingers nervously, "You think we can talk about what happened last season?"
"Oh… sorry, I need to get to my team as soon as possible, don't wanna miss out on the early bonding. It's a good strategy, you should do the same. Later." Tom said with a nervous smile before running off.
“So the melodrama starts already, huh?” A familiar condescending voice spoke from behind him as Jake looked to see Jo rolling her eyes at him.
“How long were you standing behind me?” Jake asked in offense.
“Relax, I just showed up long enough to notice Spy Boy ghost you once again.” Jo responded before her voice became more stern, “Do yourself a favor and move on from that dick. If he’s ghosted you for two years and is STILL avoiding conversation with you, it’s clear he doesn’t give a shit about you.”
“What do you care? And besides, I don’t want to assume things like last time. I need to hear it from Tom.” Jake glared at the Jockette.
“I mostly care because we’re on the same team and because I just find myself feeling pity for your situation. If you really need to hear that he doesn’t care from his lips, go for it, but don’t blame me if you end up being disappointed. Camp’s right this way, c’mon.” Jo told Jake who looked hesitant but followed her nonetheless.
We then see James and Aiden walking down the woods together with Lake holding the map in front of them before speaking up, "Okay James, now you take a right and continue on this path for another kilometer."
"Thanks Lake. Maps are so complicated, we have Google for a reason." James said gratefully.
"I… guess this is where we split." Aiden said miserably.
"I'll see you at the challenges although I admit it will be hard to beat you knowing it will put you in danger of going home. Though if you feel in danger, I’m sure I can get away with throwing a challenge or two.” James said reassuringly.
"Don't say that. You got lucky enough with your convoluted plans last time. Give it your all babe, me and Lake can handle ourselves." Aiden reassured his boyfriend.
"Okay. I trust you." James gave a thumbs up before he and Aiden leaned in for a kiss and afterwards, James continued going down his path to his team while Aiden sighed solemnly but Lake’s comforting gaze made him smile softly before following her to their camp.
We then cut to Brick reading out a map as Scott and Courtney followed behind him before the cadet beamed and smiled at his travel companions.
“Alright you two, your camp should be just to the left while my camp is right.” Brick said happily as Courtney gave him a polite handshake after his instructions.
“Thank you for the assistance, Brick. Hope to not crush you too hard in challenges.” Courtney spoke gratefully with some competitive edge to her tone before heading to Yellow Team’s campsite, leaving Scott and Brick alone.
“Well… guess this is where we split up.” Scott spoke awkwardly but Brick just smiled at him reassuringly.
“Ah, don’t sweat it Scott. I’m sure you’ll do fine on your own. Just remember to talk things out with Courtney like you intend to.” Brick reassured the dirt farmer.
“Let’s hope I won’t set myself up for disappointment.” Scott sighed before smiling playfully and holding a fist out, “See you at merge?”
“That’s assuming we both make it that far but definitely.” Brick nodded before the two shared a fist bump and went their separate ways.
We then cut to Ellie and Gabby making it to their campsite as Gabby cheerfully spoke up.
“Here we are!” Gabby cheered.
“Thank god. Now we can relax and wait to see who’s on our team.” Ellie said, a bit stressed.
“I hope there aren’t many from our season.” Gabby said worriedly.
“Yeah… I’m not exactly Miss Popular with most of them.” Ellie admitted in concern.
“Who cares about popularity? You’re the cream of the crop, the bell of the ball, the chicken to the tender, and at last, you are in my eyes.” Gabby spoke comfortingly as her eyes gleamed in Ellie’s direction, making the designer blush.
“Aw, thanks Gabs.” Ellie spoke gratefully.
“That was beautiful.” A soft voice spoke from behind the designer in which Ellie whipped her head around to see that Dawn was walking towards them.
“Oh, forgive me for interrupting. I just enjoy seeing young love prosper when I see it.” Dawn said happily.
“Thanks Dawn. It’s really nice to see you too, you were my favorite in Revenge.” Gabby smiled back.
“Thank you Gabby. It’s nice to see you’ve been doing better since Season 1 as well.” Dawn complimented to which Gabby chuckled.
“Let me guess, you saw it in my aura.” Gabby smirked playfully.
“No, it was just obvious from watching the show.” Dawn admitted with a lighthearted shrug, making Gabby chuckle.
Soon enough, Leshawna and Mike were the next people to walk over.
“Hey new teammates.” Mike waved cheerfully, “Nice to meet some new and old faces.”
“The feeling is mutual, Mike.” Dawn waved back.
“Looks like our team is looking packed already.” Leshawna said happily before seeing Duncan and Noah walk over with neutral looks on their face with Mike and Leshawna looking a bit concerned at Duncan’s presence. Duncan noticed these looks and rose an eyebrow at them.
“What? Do I have something on my face?” Duncan asked rhetorically to which Mike smiled awkwardly at the punk.
“Uh… hey Duncan. There’s no hard feelings about Mal, right…” Mike said nervously.
“We’ll see.” Duncan spoke ambiguously as he walked further to the campsite while Noah rolled his eyes at the scene before opting to stand next to Ellie.
“Geez, talk about needlessly tense.” Noah whispered to the designer who snickered at the bookworm’s snarky humor.
“Good one.” Ellie complimented to which Noah smiled at but the positive vibes didn't last long once Tom walked over.
“Hey team!” Tom said happily as he walked towards his new teammates.
“Oh no…” Ellie muttered worriedly but unfortunately for her, Tom heard that.
“Well, don’t welcome me all at once.” Tom rolled his eyes which made Ellie glare at the cop with fury.
“Look who’s talking. After how you and Jake put me on the spot back on the plane, you’re lucky I even acknowledge your existence.” Ellie scoffed indignantly.
“That’s enough!” Gabby immediately stepped in between the two, “If you continue to bicker, we won’t work as well together as a team. So quit it.”
“Hey guys.” Lake said happily as she and Aiden walked over to break the tension, “It’s really nice to meet you all.”
“The pleasure is ours’.” Leshawna spoke accommodatingly.
“Is that everyone?” Aiden asked curiously.
“It is now.” Tess smirked as she walked over, making Ellie wipe her forehead in relief.
Confessional: Ellie
“I’m mixed on my team. I’m glad I have Gabby and Tess, but dealing with Sheriff Himbo’s grudge is gonna be hard.” Ellie said solemnly.
Confessional: Tom
“Well… this team could be worse. I’m glad Gabby’s on my team since she’s the only one on my season that I kept in contact with but dealing with Ellie again is gonna be difficult and that’s not even factoring the fact I’m stuck with Duncan who is bound to have something against me and Mike who’s a nice guy, but I watched his All Stars season. Who knows what he’s hiding at times.” Tom said in concern.
Confessional: Noah
“I couldn’t have asked for a better team to be on.” Noah smiled with his arms crossed, "While it sucks to not have Owen on my team, everyone else on this team is pretty tolerable and have their own beefs which only helps my case.”
Confessionals End
We then cut to Ashley and Fiore at Magenta Team’s campfire in an awkward silence before Fiore decided to break it.
“Hey Ashley, just so you know, what happened last time we played, I hope we can put it past us.” Fiore smiled sheepishly, “I know there’s no point in apologizing since you won’t believe me but I wanna play differently this time.”
“What do you mean?” Ashley raised an eyebrow.
“We can work together, I’ll even do it on your terms.” Fiore offered.
“Do you really think I’ll work with you that easily?” Ashley glared at the little girl.
“I can dream, can’t I?” Fiore rolled her eyes.
“Not to rock the boat, but the tension is palpable.” Jake snickered as he and Jo walked towards the scene.
“You can say that again.” Ashley smirked.
“I don’t blame you. I’m not exactly comfortable with the demon child being on our team myself.” Jake fake whispered much to Fiore’s chagrin.
“Hey! Words can hurt y’know.” Fiore crossed her arms as she pouted.
“Just saying what we’re all thinking.” Jake rolled his eyes but when he and Ashley weren’t looking, Fiore silently sighed to herself.
Soon enough, Gwen and Cody were the next contestants to head over to the campsite.
“Finally, we made it.” Gwen spoke in relief as Cody smiled at his new teammates.
“Hey guys, looks like we’re all teammates, huh?” Cody spoke to try and get off on a good start.
“Seems like it, floater.” Jo narrowed her eyes at the geek which made his eyes widen as Jo continued, “I hope you’re not expecting to just coast around like last time because we need challenge wins, especially since we have a child on our team.”
“Hey!” Fiore piped up in offense.
“Lay off Jo, Cody will pull his weight as much as possible. I know him well.” Gwen stood between Cody and Jo as she glared at the latter.
“Fine, have it your way Count Gwenula. I’ll leave him be for now.” Jo rolled her eyes to which Cody just looked nervous as the two girls continued glaring at each other.
“Woo! We’re here.” Ally cheered as she and Hunter also arrived at camp, alleviating the tension a bit before her boyfriend spoke up.
“Dang. Why’d we have to get the manipulative little girl on our team?” Hunter complained.
“Hunter.” Ally spoke through gritted teeth.
“What is everyone’s problem?!” Fiore asked angrily.
“The problem is that we lost every challenge because of you.” Ashley glared back.
“Whoa. Hold on teammates. Let’s dial back for a second, we’re dealing with a kid here. Can we not be so vicious?” Brick spoke in concern as he entered the camp.
“Trust me, you haven’t competed with Fiore like we did.” Jake rolled his eyes in annoyance as Fiore glared at Jake and Ashley as Brick’s concern only increased.
After that mini-confrontation, Heather was next to arrive at camp.
“Thank god I’m here. My heels were killing me.” Heather rolled her eyes before noticing that Gwen and Jo was on her team much to the goth’s and Jockette’s displeasure but all Heather did was shrug.
“Honestly, I should’ve expected we’d be on the same team again.” Heather admitted.
“Ditto.” Gwen nodded in agreement.
“Can’t exactly say you’re wrong.” Jo shrugged, though she wasn’t exactly happy with this arrangement either.
Soon enough, James arrived at the camp as well with a smile on his face.
“Hey guys, I hope I speak for everyone when I say our team is stacked! Ready to smoke the competition?!” James asked with a smirk.
“You bet, James!” Cody said happily.
“Those other teams don’t stand a chance.” Ashley smiled enthusiastically.
Fiore just gave a blank look at the camera.
Confessional: Fiore
“There’s no point in denying it, I’m definitely screwed if we lose. Jake and Ashley still hold grudges and Hunter and Jo are already on my case for being the weakest competitor on the team. The only one who seems to be slightly defending me is Brick but that’s only one person.” Fiore sighed miserably.
Confessional Ends
We then see Riya and Connor at the Yellow Team camp where Connor was using two rocks to start a fire.
"I didn't know you could make fire with rocks." Riya said, impressed.
"It's flint and magnesium actually. Never told you this but I was in the Scouts. It really made a man out of me." Connor admitted earnestly.
"Impressive." Riya admitted with a smile.
“Oh wow, you guys got a fire started already. Good job.” Zoey smiled enthusiastically as she, Anne Maria, and Owen walked over.
“Have to agree with Zoey. It’s impressive you got things started this quickly.” Anne Maria admitted.
“Ah, it’s nothing girls.” Connor waved off humbly.
“This way. We’re here.” Alec’s voice was heard as he was seen leading himself, Alejandro, Grett, and Yul to their campsite. As soon as they got there, Alejandro was greeted to suspicious glances from Owen and Zoey.
“Greetings Owen and Zoey.” Alejandro smiled somewhat nervously but kept a cool composure, “I trust that we’ll be able to put any past grudges aside for the game.”
“I can agree to that. You WERE right about Mal after all.” Zoey conceded but still kept a suspicious glance at Alejandro.
“Of course we can let bygones be bygones, Al…” Owen began happily before noticing Alejandro’s sharp look, “…ejandro. We’re a team now, after all.”
“Oh shut up, lardass!” Yul rolled his eyes, “We don’t need to hear that positivity drivel.”
“Truly a pinnacle of humanity, aren’t you?” Anne Maria rolled her eyes, “He didn’t even do anything wrong!”
“Not the girl who sold herself out to a two-timer trying to tell me how to act.” Yul spoke mockingly before laughing hysterically as Anne Maria and Zoey’s glared at him ferociously while Grett watched the argument in concern. At this point, Scott and Courtney arrived at the scene with Courtney looking sheepish while Scott crossed his arms in annoyance immediately.
“Well… isn’t this a fun welcome to our new team.” Scott scoffed, with everyone but Yul seeming embarrassed by the whole situation.
Confessional: Grett
“While I do enjoy playing ruthlessly from time to time, what Yul said to Owen and Anne Maria was very unnecessary. I just hope he calms down soon…” Grett sighed solemnly.
Confessional: Alec
“To put it bluntly, this team is a hot mess.” Alec crossed his arms.
Confessionals End
We then cut to the Magenta Team at their campfire before Ashley spoke up.
“It’s gonna rain soon. I can smell it in the air.” Ashley pointed out.
“Do you think the tent is waterproof?” Jake asked curiously.
“Wouldn’t count on it. We won a waterproof tent back in our season and it didn’t look like this.” Fiore explained.
“Damn, seems like we’re in for a rough night.” James said in concern.
“I have an idea, what if we cover the tent in leaves? I played a survival RPG the other day and it worked out for my character.” Ally smiled enthusiastically.
“Worth a shot, what game was it?” Hunter asked curiously.
“Forest craft.” Ally answered.
“Oh I’ve never heard of that…” Hunter said sheepishly.
“What? Hunter, I literally talked about it on the way to camp.” Ally said, clearly confused and hurt at the same time which made Cody and Brick stare at each other awkwardly while Heather snickered in her palm.
“Uh… I like your thinking Ally. Let’s go harvest some leaves and try it.” Cody smiled nervously as he stood up.
“I agree. This strategy definitely seems creative.” Brick complimented.
“Thanks guys.” Ally said gratefully as she stood up.
“Mind if I join you?” Hunter asked hopefully.
“I do mind actually.” Ally glared at her boyfriend, “C’mon Cody and Brick.”
Cody and Brick gave Hunter an apologetic and sympathetic gaze before joining Ally to go harvest leaves.
“I guess I’ll go over there and look for food or… something.” Hunter said, trying to cover up his embarrassment before walking off.
“I’ll join you. I’m kinda hungry myself.” James told the social failure before following him.
“Well, aren’t they a match made in heaven?” Heather asked with a mocking smirk.
“Oh shut up Heather. They’re clearly going through something.” Gwen crossed her arms in annoyance.
“Well they better get it together for the sake of the game or they’ll be screwed.” Jo shrugged unsympathetically.
“Agreed, which is why I think the two of them need to be split up in case we lose a challenge.” Heather smirked, “If their relationship issues start getting worse, it could easily hinder our challenge performance. If push comes to shove, Hunter needs to go since he’s clearly the root of these issues.”
“Exactly. They already seem to be getting in good graces with Cody, Brick, and James so they could be social threats as well.” Fiore nodded in agreement, “I watched Season 2 in my limited free time and they were easily the strongest alliance back on Green Team.”
“You’re both just saying this so we don’t vote you out instead.” Gwen raised an eyebrow, unamused by this claim.
“Are we wrong though?” Heather argued to which Jake and Ashley looked concerned, Gwen contemplated what was being said, and Jo rolled her eyes.
Confessional: Jo
“Obviously Old Heather and Mini-Heather are just saying this to save their own asses but I gotta admit, breaking up the power couple is a solid strategy. After my humiliating losses in both seasons, I definitely need to take a page from Cameron’s book and use more strategy.” Jo admitted.

We then cut to Ally, Cody, and Brick all picking leaves from tree branches and bushes when the two boys noticed Ally looking downtrodden.
“Y’know, we didn’t want to say anything earlier but you seemed kinda down.” Brick admitted in concern.
“Yeah… is this about what happened with Hunter earlier?” Cody asked.
“I’m sorry, it’s just that I’ve been having some problems with Hunter for a while lately. I wouldn’t wanna bother you two with them.” Ally sighed solemnly.
“It’s cool, but if you do need to talk about it, we’ll be willing to hear you out.” Brick offered helpfully with Cody nodding in agreement which made Ally smile gratefully.
Soon it was nighttime and back at the Yellow Team's campfire, Yul was shivering.
“It’s freezing!” Yul began to complain, “What was my manager thinking of sending me here in a crop top?!”
“Oh calm down. I’m wearing a literal tank top and you don’t see me complaining.” Scott rolled his eyes making Yul and Grett glare at him but instead of arguing, Grett turned to Yul to comfort him.
“Oh darling, you’re just fashionable and at least we still look good together.” Grett smiled as she hugged Yul who looked briefly disgusted before awkwardly returning the smile. Only Courtney noticed his unease.
"I saw our sleeping clothes in the backpacks they gave us." Alec told the team, "We'll need those if the temperature starts dropping."
“I’ll get mine now. I ain’t gonna risk freezing to death if I can help it.” Anne Maria shrugged before walking into the tent.
"You should have all prepared better. I brought my alpaca fur coat which is not only comfortable but fashionable." Riya smirks at the team who are unamused by her bragging.
"It's true. Riya's coat slays." Connor compliments.
"I know the coat slays, you don't have to tell me. I wouldn't have brought it otherwise." Riya said smugly which began to concern the likes of Owen and Zoey.
"Alright Riya, knock it off." Connor said in annoyance.
"Oh relax Connor, don't get worked up. You have enough gray hair as it is." Riya said condescendingly before standing up and walking off, "I'm going to bed."
Connor then began looking down much to the concern of Alec.
"Hey, are you okay?" Alec asked curiously.
"Yeah." Connor sighed.
"I know it's not my business but if you want to talk, I'll be by the lake." Alec reassured the man.
"It's nothing. I'm fine." Connor said miserably but from Owen and Zoey’s concerned expressions, they knew he was far from fine.
Confessional: Connor
"I'm worried about what this game is doing to Riya. When we're alone she can be really sweet but when the cameras are on, she becomes a different person entirely." Connor said sadly.

We then cut to the night sky as it began raining, the thunder and lightning was not helping. The rest of the Cyan team was in their tent at this time to stay dry.
"Storm's a-coming." Aiden sighed.
"Well… hope you guys hate sleep." Tom sighed.
"Man, I hate thunder. James always makes me calmer around it but now… I wish he was here." Aiden said miserably.
"Thunderstorms always make me feel alone and helpless." Tess said sadly before Ellie immediately put her arm around Tess’ shoulder in reassurance.
“Hope none of you mind me asking but what were the storms like back in Camp Tipiskaw?” Mike asked curiously.
"Yeah. Ally really helped me a lot back when I felt my life was falling apart at the seams." Tess sighed fondly.
“Same here. My father was making me quit the show and… I owe a lot to Kristal. If it weren’t for her, I’d still be stuck with him and my mother.” Lake sighed solemnly.
“Yeah, I doubt that would’ve been fun.” Leshawna winced sympathetically.
“Yeah, I watched your season. If I may be blunt, your parents are fucked up, Lake.” Noah admitted bluntly.
“You could be a little less blunt.” Dawn glared at the bookworm who looked sheepish.
“It’s alright Dawn. I’ve accepted that reality long ago after Season 2.” Lake spoke up in defense for Noah.
"In my season, when it was raining, I was hiding in the camp finding a way to solve the Jensen situation. What were you doing that time, Ellie?" Gabby asked happily.
"Nothing much." Ellie said nervously.
"Oh. Oh really? So you don't recall stabbing me in the back and making me look like a fool on international television?" Tom asked angrily which made Noah facepalm at his blatant fueling of the fire.
“Well… it worked, didn’t it?” Ellie glared hatefully at Tom.
“Quiet. I didn’t break an argument up just to start one again.” Gabby said in anger but both Ellie and Tom sensed the disappointment in her tone, causing them to look away guiltily.
Confessional: Duncan
“Geez, and I thought our cast held grudges.” Duncan cringed.

After the stormy night, the sun rose and it was finally daytime which allowed Kristal to announce through the speakers, "Attention campers! Challenge time!"
We then see the Yellow, Magenta, and Cyan teams on their mats with their swimsuits on which were colored to fit with their team standing in front of Kristal and Chef.
"Welcome to your first challenge, campers. How was your night?" Chef asked with a smirk.
"Worst night of my life." Aiden spoke angrily.
"Is everything okay, Aiden?" James asked in concern.
"Not really. The rain soaked us." Aiden sighed.
"If you cover the tent with leaves, it will keep your tent dry." James whispered to his boyfriend with a smirk.
"Uh, clout for brains. What the hell are you doing helping the other team?" Jo asked incredulously.
"Jo’s right." Jake admitted skeptically.
"So it's okay for you if we all get hypothermia and freeze to death?" Aiden asked in annoyance.
"That's not what we meant." Jake rolled his eyes.
"Steering away from unnecessary drama, what happened to using cabins?" Zoey asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Glad you asked." Kristal smirked, "I burned them."
"What?! Why?!" Yul asked incredulously.
"Since season one's incident had been fully shown, they only let us film a new season here in exchange for improving the environment." Kristal explained.
"I don’t think burning wood is really helpful." Dawn crossed her arms with a very annoyed look.
"Well if they come to inspect us, we don't want there to be cabins." Chef said with a roll of his eyes.
"This brings us to today's challenge. Bring in the critters." Kristal smirked as three trucks began parking with one having a green smiley face, a yellow neutral face, and a red angry face.
"What's in the crates?" Fiore asked warily.
"Animals for us to repopulate the forest." Kristal smirked.
"Oh yay!" Gabby cheered.
“While I’m also very pleased about this… what’s the catch?” Dawn asked skeptically.
"Well other than making sure to fix the mess those two interns caused. Let me explain the rules." Kristal smirked, "We have three trucks with different crates inside. The green ones contain eight completely harmless animals, the yellow ones contain eight mildly harmful animals and finally, the red ones contain four completely dangerous creatures. Six members of each team will be transporters while the rest of your teammates will be attackers. You must cross the field to make it to your respective teams' end goals while the attackers will try to prevent you from doing so. Green containers are worth one point, yellow containers are worth five points, and red contrariness are worth ten. After all the animals are transported, the team with the most points will win invincibility."
We then see Trevor and Derek near the green truck as Trevor sighed miserably, "Well at least releasing these animals will ease my conscience a little."
"Forgiveness is a long road Trevor, we're still at the starting line." Derek said solemnly.
"God, what were we thinking?" Trevor facepalmed.
"Trevor, we weren't." Derek acknowledged.
We then see in the challenge area that Jake, James, Ashley, Gwen, Cody, and Heather were transporters for Magenta, Ellie, Gabby, Tess, Duncan, Mike, and Dawn were transporters for Cyan, and Grett, Yul, Connor, Owen, Alejandro, and Zoey were transporters for Yellow. Everyone else were defenders.
"Alright, we have our transporters and attackers. This challenge starts now!" Chef said through his megaphone before blowing an air horn.
“What should we grab first?” Cody asked nervously.
“Obviously the red container.” Heather suggested smugly, “The more points we have, the more chances we have of winning.”
“Gotta agree with that. Let’s do this.” Ashley smirked in determination as the Magenta Team transporters began heading for the red truck while Cody gulped before following.
“Hopefully I don’t get mauled again…” Cody said fearfully.
We then see Gabby with a bird and squirrel in her hands while a chameleon was on her head.
"C'mon friends. I'll find you a home." Gabby laughed before putting the bird and squirrel in Tess and Ellie's hands respectively.
“Exquisite animal taming skills, Gabby.” Dawn complimented as she held a squirrel and bird in her hands with a chameleon on her head before giving the squirrel and bird to Mike and Duncan respectively in which Mike smiled while Duncan looked done with everything.
We then see Yul trying to pull the leash of a goat but it wouldn't budge.
"Move lamb chop." Yul commanded the goat.
"Let's do it together." Grett said before she and Yul both began trying to pull the goat.
Meanwhile Connor was dealing with a monkey slapping him in the face as he was running to bring it to the end zone.
"This isn't working." Grett said in annoyance, "Let's go for another one."
Yul then let go of the leash and began following Grett to the crates but the goat began running forward.
We then cut to Ashley, Gwen, James, and Cody trying to pull on the leash while Jake and Heather were trying to push it from behind; however the wolf just began to growl at the four of them and turned towards Heather and Jake's direction.
"Uh… help…" Jake gulped while Heather also stared wide-eyed in worry.
“I got your back!” Ashley smirked before using the front of the leash to lasso the wolf but all it did was make the wolf angry and pull Ashley towards it.
“Well that’s just great.” Gwen said in annoyance.
We then see Gabby, Ellie, Tess, Duncan, Dawn, and Mike running off to the end zone with their animals in hand but they stopped at seeing Hunter, Ally, Fiore, Brick, and Jo waiting for them.
“Get them maggots.” Jo smirked mischievously as she and the other Magenta defenders ran towards the Cyan transporters who immediately began running ahead but Hunter was able to tackle Ellie as Mike and Brick along with Duncan and Jo began pushing and shoving each other into a standstill though Mike was eventually able to shove past Brick while Duncan was shoved to the ground by Jo as she stole his bird.
“Thanks for the delivery. Nyahahahahahahaha.” Jo laughed maniacally as she headed for Magenta Team’s goal zone.
We also see Fiore try to tackle Tess but due to her small size, all Tess had to do was shove her away before getting in their goal.
“Sorry.” Tess told the child apologetically as she ran in the Cyan goal.
We then see Ally getting ready to block Gabby from getting in the goal but Gabby immediately punches her before running inside the Cyan Team’s goal.
We then see Ellie and Hunter struggling on the ground for who would get the bird when Hunter briefly spoke up, "Team? Where are you?"
Back with the transporters for Magenta Team, all six of them managed to hold down the wolf before Ashley could suffer any more damage but Hunter quickly snatched the bird from Ellie and began heading for his team's zone when the bird suddenly began pecking at Hunter's nose and flew off.
"Are you okay?" Ally asked in concern.
"That silly bird bit me. You alright?" Hunter answered.
"I'm fine. Let's go." Ally smiled.
Meanwhile Connor was trying to handle his monkey as he headed for the Yellow Team's zone but when Leshawna tried to tackle him, Connor ducked to avoid her and then made it into the Yellow zone.
"Score!" Connor cried out happily.
We then see Grett and Yul with a beaver and raccoon respectively with Aiden standing in front of them menacingly or at least trying to, causing the two to smirk at him but before anything could happen, Riya swooped from behind to tackle him.
"I got him. Go!" Riya told the couple before they ran off into the Yellow zone.
We then see Hunter and Brick standing guard before seeing a goat run past him and near where Fiore was.
"Fiore! The goat!" Hunter alarmed her and once she was made aware, Fiore tried to stop the goat from passing by but it bonked her across the field near Alec much to his concern.
“Are you okay, Fiore?” Brick asked worriedly as he ran over to check on her.
“Ugh… I’m fine.” Fiore rubbed her head, clearly in a bit of pain.
"We just lost five points!" Hunter said angrily as he ran next to Fiore.
“Next time… you get the goat.” Fiore remarked in annoyance.
“Ugh, it’s so unfair. Why do we get stuck with the little girl?” Hunter groaned which immediately angered Brick.
“Hunter, I know she’s not as physically capable as the rest of us but please try to control your emotions. She’s doing her best.” Brick glared at the loner.
“Yeah, well it’s not like it’s doing much.” Hunter rolled his eyes.
“I think you’d best listen to your teammate. A little camaraderie doesn’t hurt, Hunter.” Alec glared at the player as he crossed his arms.
“What does this have to do with you?” Hunter glared at Alec.
“I’m just saying.” Alec rolled his eyes.
“I didn’t ask. Why don’t you mind your own business?” Hunter argued furiously.
“I don’t appreciate your tone.” Alec said angrily.
“Okay that’s enough. Let’s get back to our spots before the other teams catch up.” Brick told Hunter who sighed before following the cadet away from Alec and Fiore.
“I’m really sorry about him.” Brick apologized to both Alec and Fiore before walking off to make sure Hunter wouldn’t further escalate an argument.
“Thanks Alec…” Fiore said gratefully.
"Don't think I've forgiven you." Alec reminded his former partner in crime.
"Alec, you have to help me. No one on the team likes me." Fiore begged.
"Can you blame them?" Alec scoffed.
"I tried all I could. They're going to vote me off first. I don't know what to do." Fiore said desperately which caused Alec to frown sympathetically at first before growling under his breath.
"You're not going to fool me again." Alec said furiously before walking off, causing Fiore to tear up a little.
We then see Heather, Gwen, Cody, Ashley, James, and Jake attempting to pull the wolf’s leash again but as they were doing so, Tom and Leshawna immediately went to tackle them into a pile while Lake went to grab the wolf’s leash.
“It’s all yours’, Lake.” Leshawna smirked.
Lake then went to get the wolf’s leash but both her and the wolf got distracted by Riya howling.
While Lake was distracted, Courtney immediately unhooked the leash holding the wolf back and it began running after Riya but thankfully she slid out of the way and was able to get the wolf inside Yellow Team’s containment unit.
“Yes!” Courtney cheered before running back to her teammates while Tom, Leshawna, and Lake glared at her while the Magenta Team transporters grunted as they recovered from Tom and Leshawna tackling them.
“Ugh. I forgot how much I hate Leshawna and Courtney.” Heather grunted furiously.
“Change of plans, go for the green containers.” Ashley told her fellow transporters.
We then see the six of them doing just that. In a montage, we see James running with a chameleon on his shoulder which soon camouflaged much to his worry, Grett dealing with carrying a snake but then getting tackled by Tom which allowed him to take the snake for himself.
We then see Ashley riding a horse across the field and when Owen was seen standing guard, the horse immediately jumped over him and to the Magenta zone much to his bewilderment.
After that, we see Yul running inside the Yellow zone with a goose chasing him, along with Connor with a snapping turtle biting his finger.
We also then see Ellie and Duncan dragging a crocodile across the field and Gabby was walking a lion to the Cyan zone much to the bewilderment of Fiore, Ally, Hunter, Brick and Jo.
We then see Jake being pecked by a woodpecker much to his discomfort when he notices Tom slide to trip Yul who was holding a deer which allowed Aiden the opportunity to grab the deer and throw it to Gabby.
"I got it!" Gabby smiled before running to the Cyan zone once again.
"Haha! Well done Aiden!" Tom smiled before high-fiving Aiden while Jake stared wishfully.
"Seems Tom has already replaced you." Alec said as he stood behind Jake.
"Uh… what?" Jake asked curiously.
"He's been smiling more than usual around Aiden." Alec explained.
"No… Do you think so?" Jake asked worriedly before Alejandro walked over with a look of concern.
“Forgive me, I couldn’t help but overhear, I have also noticed that Tom and Aiden were stealing glances from each other back at the plane. I wouldn’t be surprised if they talked before this.” Alejandro said with faux sympathy much to Alec and Jake’s surprise.
“Are you two going to try and take the woodpecker from me?” Jake asked in concern.
“Honestly, we’ll give you a freebie. I just feel awful for you. I don’t know what I’d do if Heather replaced me.” Alejandro said solemnly.
“Wh-Whatever, not like I care.” Jake said angrily before running off and once he was out of earshot, Alejandro smirked in delight.
“Not that I’m complaining, but why did you help me?” Alec asked the Spaniard in confusion.
“I enjoy a good scheme when I see it. Besides, it will clearly cause tension within the Magenta Team.” Alejandro answered proudly, “Well played my friend.”
“Thank you. I just hope it worked.” Alec said fondly.
“Oh don’t worry, I’m sure it will.” Alejandro reassured him.
What neither of them noticed was that Zoey had noticed Alejandro and Alec speaking to each other and while she didn’t hear everything, she raised an eyebrow.
Confessional: Zoey
“I didn’t hear what Alejandro and Alec were talking about but whatever it is, I highly doubt it was a good thing considering… well, everything they’ve done in the past.” Zoey said in annoyance, “I’m gonna have to keep an eye on them.”
Confessional Ends
We then see Jake sadly walking to his team's zone with the woodpecker but then out of nowhere, Duncan stole it from him.
"Hey!" Jake cried out.
"Sorry man, but that's the game." Duncan laughed before running in his team's zone with the woodpecker.
"And those are all the animals, with a total of thirty eight points, the Cyan Team wins immunity and as a reward, the tents they have will be replaced with waterproof ones." Kristal said happily, causing Tess and Duncan to smirk, Noah, Dawn, Mike, Lake, and Leshawna to cheer, Tom and Aiden to hug, and Ellie to embrace Gabby, "Second place goes to Yellow Team who won a total of thirty one points. They are also safe from elimination."
"Phew.” Zoey said in relief.
"Proud of you gang." Connor said happily.
"Next time make sure we get first place so we get the reward too. Idiots." Riya said angrily.
"Aw c’mon. Don’t be upset. We’re still safe.” Owen reassured the actress but she just glared at him, making him look away sadly.
"Which leaves Team Magenta with a measly twelve points. Yeesh, I'll be seeing you guys at elimination where you'll be voting someone out." Kristal said.
Everyone on the team immediately became nervous at this prospect, Heather and Fiore most of all.
Confessional: Jake
“As much as I’m concerned about Tom and Aiden, I don’t want to assume things like I did last season. I need to talk to James about this, he knows Aiden better than I do.” Jake said worriedly.
Confessional Ends
We then cut to the Magenta Team at the campfire where Gwen, Cody, and James were keeping the fire up before Jake walked over.
“Hey James, can I ask you something?” Jake asked in concern.
“Sure thing. What’s up man?” James asked curiously.
“Have you noticed how quickly Tom and Aiden became friends?” Jake asked nervously.
“No. I’m not exactly on their team.” James raised an eyebrow in confusion.
“Have you talked to Aiden lately… other than about the whole leaf situation?” Jake asked carefully.
“You mean the leaf thing that you and Heather were giving me flack for just being a good boyfriend? What are you implying Jake?!” James narrowed his eyes furiously at Jake who immediately got concerned at how quickly James began getting hostile which Gwen and Cody also got worried by.
“I’m not trying to imply anything, I was just asking…” Jake began explaining himself before James interrupted.
“Respectfully, you do not know Aiden like I do. Be careful what you are suggesting.” James stood up and clenched his fists furiously which immediately sent alarms in Cody’s head.
“James! There’s no need to be hostile. Jake just seemed a bit concerned. I don’t think we need to make this a big thing.” Cody smiled nervously as he stood in between the two.
“That idiot is making nonsense up by implying my boyfriend is cheating on me.” James glared furiously, though it was clear his anger was more focused at Jake than Cody.
“What?! I wasn’t making anything up! I was just pointing out something I noticed from others. Are you seriously being this ignorant right now?!” Jake asked angrily.
“Leave him alone, Jake. You’re being ridiculous.” Gwen spoke up in annoyance with having to deal with this argument.
“Ridiculous?! I’m not the one throwing threats at people!” Jake argued furiously.
“Listen here boy toy. You clearly have trust issues and haven’t learnt a thing since your last season. My boyfriend isn’t cheating on me and I can’t even say you’re trying to lie to manipulate me. A lie would have to be smart, you’re just delusional. I’m leaving.” James ranted before walking off angrily leaving Jake’s mouth agape in shock before walking off to the other side in fury, noticing that Ashley, Hunter, Ally, Brick, Jo, Heather, and Fiore were also staring at the scene in collective shock.
“Ashley, mind if I speak with you?” Jake asked angrily.
“Sure thing Jake.” Ashley said in concern before walking off to discuss with him. As this was happening, no one noticed Heather leading Fiore away from the rest of the team.
After the heat died down, Gwen immediately stood up to address the rest of her teammates.
“Okay, it’s clear after that display that Jake needs to go.” Gwen crossed her arms in annoyance, “He’s clearly way too insecure for his own good.”
“So the twink is paranoid. Big deal.” Jo rolled her eyes, “James was actively helping our opponents earlier. Blueberry boy at least knows to stay in his lane.”
“I agree. Jake and James can easily talk things out later but Fiore’s the weakest member of the team and is manipulative as hell. If we want to win challenges, she should be the one to go home.” Hunter argued in annoyance which made Jo raise an eyebrow in consideration at that comment.
“I feel like this is being blown way out of proportion. Can’t we just vote for Fiore?” Cody smiled nervously.
“Sorry Cody, but after what Jake was saying, I can’t say James overreacted.” Gwen sighed solemnly in which all Cody did was look away sheepishly.
Confessional: Brick
“So not only are Hunter and Ally having issues, but Jake and James got into a full blown argument. With all this conflict, I’m unsure of who even deserves to go.” Brick said worriedly.
Confessional: Ashley
“Jake was on my side when it came to voting for Fiore but after that argument, he’s been begging me to change our votes to James. While I would love to get Fiore eliminated, it’s clear that Jake’s in trouble right now and I can’t be mad at him when the whole situation seems to be a misunderstanding.” Ashley said sadly.
Confessionals End
We then cut to the elimination ceremony where Kristal and Chef were standing in front of the eight Magenta Team members.
"Welcome to today's elimination. Since you are all All Stars, I hope I don't need to explain how voting works. Now get voting.” Kristal said happily.
Voting: Jake
“I’m sorry about this, but with the way you reacted, I don’t feel comfortable keeping you around.” Jake admitted apologetically as he held a vote for James.
Voting: James
“The casting team really dropped the ball inviting your dramatic ass back.” James scoffed as he held a vote for Jake.
Voting: Hunter
“I’m voting for Fiore. She’s nothing but a thorn on everyone's side.” Hunter glared down at his parchment as he held a vote for Fiore.
Voting: Ally
Ally looked nervous as she made her vote.
Voting: Ashley
Ashley looked worried while writing down her vote.
Voting: Jo
Jo smirked while writing her vote down.
Voting: Brick
“As much as I feel bad for you, I do think you’re a safe pick for this mess of a vote to the point where it won’t cause too much drama. That being said, I wouldn’t be opposed to you surviving tonight.” Brick said apologetically as he held up a vote for Fiore.
Voting: Cody
Cody bit his bottom lip in fear as he made his vote.
Voting: Gwen
Gwen wrote her vote with a furious expression.
Voting: Heather
Heather smirked while writing down her vote.
Voting: Fiore
Fiore looked somewhat nervous but wrote down her vote.
Voting Ends
“Once the votes are read. The decision is final. Whoever is voted out must leave camp immediately.” Kristal smirked as she began reading the votes, “First vote: Jake.”
Jake looked concerned at his name being called first.
“James.”
James glared at the blue haired boy who glared back at him.
“Fiore.”
Fiore’s eyes widened slightly as she looked concerned for her fate.
“Jake.”
Jake looked even more worried for himself now as Gwen narrowed her eyes in his direction.
“Fiore.”
Fiore began to get even more worried as more votes were read.
“James. That’s two votes for James, two votes for Fiore, two votes for Jake.”
“Fiore.”
Fiore’s face began morphing into one of fear.
“James.”
James also began to look concerned.
“Fiore.”
Fiore began crossing her fingers in desperation.
“James. That’s four votes for James, four votes for Fiore, two votes Jake, and only one vote left.” Kristal dramatically narrated as James and Gwen glared at Jake, Jake looked guilty, Fiore looked nervous, Cody and Brick looked worried, and Jo kept a shockingly neutral face.
“First person voted out of Totally Disventurous All Stars is… James. That’s five votes, you must go.” Kristal finished reading the votes.
“I can’t believe you all sided with that spoiled brat.” James spoke furiously as he gestured towards Jake who looked away, feeling the tension begin to escalate.
“You both acted like spoiled brats but at least Jake didn’t help the other team.” Jo narrowed her eyes at the influencer who rolled his eyes at her explanation.
“I’m sorry to see you leave so soon, James.” Brick spoke sympathetically.
“From last season’s winner to first boot, James it’s time for you to go.” Kristal spoke sympathetically as James sighed before standing up as he glared at Jake once again.
“Good luck dealing with a paranoid nutcase.” James snapped before beginning to walk off but before he could leave the camp, Jake stood up with a glare.
“Look, I’m not exactly happy that it came to this and while I was admittedly getting paranoid, you didn’t handle things any better by using insults and threats.” Jake crossed his arms in annoyance to which James and the rest of the Magenta Team looked shocked, though Jo smirked at Jake’s drive.
“Perhaps you have a point.” James shrugged neutrally before his expression became more serious, “You know Jake, Aiden once told me after Season 2 that I reminded him of you to some extent and while I didn’t understand it at first, spending time with you made me realize our similarities. However, there’s one thing that’s different between you and me.”
“And what’s that?” Jake asked skeptically.
“Unlike you, I’ve actually learned to change.” James spoke coldly which shocked the entire team, especially Jake as the influencer stormed off to the bus stop.
Once James noticed the camera, he gave it a smirk and wink before the Bus Of Losers showed up to pick him up and once James got on, the bus drove away.
Confessional: Fiore
“The gods have smiled upon me! I live to see another day!” Fiore celebrated.
Confessional: Heather
“After talking with Fiore, I knew that between Jake and James, the latter was always going to be the bigger threat due to winning last season and being an overall social threat. Sorry James, but you dug your own grave.” Heather smirked.
Confessional: Jake
“I can’t help but feel bad. Yeah James was kind of a dick about the whole situation but I shouldn’t have lashed out like I did. In the end, I just hope I’m worrying over nothing and that James holds no grudges once the game ends.” Jake sighed solemnly.
Confessionals End
Notes:
And so our first boot has been decided. I did consider other options for the first boot but none of them really worked for me as well as James does. Call me predictable but I really don’t care. I made some tweaks to James and Jake’s conflict though so it didn’t come off as one-sided so hopefully that should be satisfactory at least.
Yellow Team: Owen, Courtney, Alejandro, Zoey, Scott, Anne Maria, Alec, Grett, Riya, Yul, Connor
Cyan Team: Duncan, Leshawna, Noah, Mike, Dawn, Ellie, Tom, Gabby, Aiden, Lake, Tess
Magenta Team: Gwen, Heather, Cody, Jo, Brick, Fiore, Jake, Ashley, Hunter, Ally
33rd James
Chapter Text
“Previously on Totally Disventurous All Stars, Teams got acquainted while rainstorms soaked all their camps. Magenta Team managed to avoid getting wet thanks to Ally's strategy to cover the tent with leaves. The challenge was to bring all the critters into the camp to repopulate the forest. Magenta Team lost and thanks to an argument with Jake and him showcasing too much loyalty to Aiden, James was voted out first which didn't fit too well with half the team. Thirty-two left. Who will be voted out tonight?" Kristal recapped.
(After theme song)
We begin the episode with it raining in the morning. Currently the Cyan Team were sitting in their waterproof tent that they won from the last challenge which was keeping them all dry.
“How long is this storm going to go on for?” Aiden asked worriedly.
“I think the worst is over. I’ve noticed the clouds have become less grey.” Mike pointed out happily.
“Once the rain is over I can get a fire going.” Tom offered.
“I can help. I learned a trick from last season back when me and Hunter were stranded in the woods.” Lake added helpfully.
“We couldn’t have won this reward at a better time.” Tess smiled enthusiastically.
“I know. This waterproof tent is spectacular!” Gabby cheered.
“Makes me almost feel sorry for the others. Wonder how they’re doing anyway.” Leshawna said thoughtfully.
We then cut to the Yellow Team where they were all huddled together in the tent as the rain continued pouring. The only member not in the tent was Alec.
“Where’s Alec?” Connor asked as he shivered.
“He went out to look for breakfast.” Anne Maria explained.
“In the rain?” Connor raised an eyebrow.
“He probably doesn’t want to squeeze in here with the rest of us. Guy’s a bit of an introvert.” Grett admitted.
“I hope he comes back soon, I’m getting hungry.” Owen said in concern.
“Yeah, you made that clear the last five times you whined about it.” Anne Maria rolled her eyes before her face grew serious. “But I will admit that Owen has a point. We may as well get breakfast as early as possible and it ain’t like we’re very dry in here anyway.”
“Ugh! We can’t lose anymore rewards!” Riya growled.
“What happened to coming prepared? Where’s your waterproof fur coat?” Yul smirked mockingly at his rival but Riya just grabbed his hair furiously.
“You wanna say that again, wise guy?” Riya scowled.
“UGH! Let go of me you has-been!” Yul cried out indignantly.
“First warning!” Riya warned furiously as she let go of his hair.
“Enough! I get we’re all stressed but I will not allow fighting!” Connor crossed his arms sternly.
“Who died and made you the king of fighting?” Yul said in annoyance.
“I agree with the brat. I’m not your daughter.” Riya protested.
“Then quit acting like a child.” Connor argued before storming off, much to Zoey’s sympathy before she glared at Riya.
“You should probably apologize to him.” Zoey suggested coldly.
“Why should I?” Riya raised an eyebrow.
“Because from what I can tell, he’s the only one here that’s willing to deal with your crap despite how you acted last season and you’re currently repaying him by being needlessly rude to him.” Zoey explained in annoyance, causing Riya to look away guiltily.
We then see Connor walking outside when he ran into Alec who seemed confused by his anger.
"What happened there? I heard shouting." Alec asked Connor in concern.
"It's like handling a bunch of kindergarteners in there." Connor explained angrily.
“Hmph. What a surprise.” Alec tsked.
"I can understand Yul behaving like this but Riya? I thought she'd know better." Connor spoke in disappointment.
"Maybe that's just who she is." Alec suggested.
"I know Riya. She's sweet and kind, and I trust her with my life." Connor said determinedly before sighing, "But this persona that comes out every time we're on camera, it's just not who she is."
"So what's wrong with her?" Alec asked curiously.
"She's under a lot of stress due to her on-screen reputation. I try to be understanding but sometimes she makes it really hard." Connor explained solemnly.
"You can't make her change, Connor. Unless she wants to, she will always be this way." Alec explained in an almost solemn tone.
"How do you know that? You a therapist or something?" Connor asked with a raised eyebrow.
"No, but a while ago, my wife who I was very close to tried to change who I was. I wasn't able to figure it out for myself until it was too late. No matter what she told me, I was still the same man she couldn't stand and so it made us go our separate ways." Alec said sadly, "I'm sorry. I'm just trying to be honest with you."
Confessional: Alec
“Ever since I lost my last season, I watched it over and over to see where I went wrong. I think my biggest mistake was sticking with Fiore for as long as I did. At that point, she became my only true connection. This time I’ll try to branch out more and find new allies.” Alec said sternly.
Confessional Ends
After Alec’s confessional, we then cut to the sky turning blue and no longer raining before cutting to Magenta Team’s campsite as Gwen was sketching on her sketch book on a stump as Cody nervously approached her.
“Are you mad at me?” Cody asked in concern, alerting the goth of his presence to which she sighed in response.
“Not really. You made your stance on who you wanted to eliminate clearly and besides, James would’ve been eliminated either way.” Gwen admitted solemnly before standing up and facing the geek, “Though… we do need a plan now.”
“Yeah… this team is definitely going to be divided after the vote was so split last night. Especially since we have people like Heather, Jo, and Fiore here.” Cody said worriedly.
“Other than you, I’m not exactly close with anyone on this team so please tell me you have an idea on who we can ally with to stay in.” Gwen pleaded.
“Brick and Ally seem nice to me and with Ally, we can also get Hunter on our side.” Cody smiled reassuringly.
“Well, that’s already a solid five person voting block. The worst that can happen is a tie.” Gwen smiled hopefully.
“Cool. I’ll go talk to Ally and Hunter, and you go see if we can get Brick on board.” Cody said happily before high-fiving Gwen and splitting off from her.
Confessional: Gwen
“After how I acted towards Jake last elimination, he might want to target me given that I voted for him so hopefully Cody’s idea can even things out.” Gwen admitted in concern.
Confessional Ends
We then cut to Ally and Hunter getting firewood together as Ally looked a bit nervous. Once they got enough wood, Hunter decided to approach her.
“Is… everything okay, Ally?” Hunter asked nervously.
“Not really. James getting eliminated kinda screwed us over since he would’ve been willing to work with us. I’m worried one of us will get targeted next, especially by Fiore.” Ally admitted worriedly.
“Don’t worry, babe. Fiore’s already a social outcast due to her actions on her season. Plus, Cody and Brick seem pretty trustworthy so maybe we can work with them.” Hunter smiled reassuringly.
“I guess you have a point…” Ally said with a smile, “I just can’t help but get nervous at times given how things went for us last time.”
“I definitely get it. Relying on immunity wins wasn’t exactly an ideal way to get far for me either.” Hunter chuckled, making Ally chuckle as well with a blush.
“Uh… am I interrupting something…” Cody asked sheepishly but Ally and Hunter only smiled at him.
“Nah, you’re good. What’s up?” Hunter asked curiously.
“I wanted to talk to you about forming an alliance with me and Gwen. She’s trying to get Brick on board with us as we speak.” Cody explained.
“Solid plan, dude. We’re definitely on board with that.” Hunter said happily.
“I agree.” Ally nodded before raising an eyebrow, “Wait… shouldn’t we get a sixth member on board.”
“Ideally yes, but Jake and Fiore might not wanna work with us since Gwen voted for Jake and I voted for Fiore.” Cody admitted sheepishly, “Given how close Ashley is with the former and Heather is with the latter… that might be a problem, and Jo doesn’t seem to like me or Brick.”
“Oh… fair point.” Ally sighed in disappointment.
“Don’t worry babe, I’m sure the five of us will be enough to send Fiore home.” Hunter said reassuringly.
“Let’s hope.” Ally spoke a bit nervously to which both Cody and Hunter looked concerned.
Confessional: Hunter
“It’s sad to see Ally be this stressed but at the same time, I can’t really blame her. With James being gone so soon, everyone’s on edge and it doesn’t help that she’s worried about whether she’ll please the fans or not.” Hunter admitted solemnly.
Confessional Ends
We then cut to the Yellow and Cyan Teams in their swimsuits as they stand near a dock with Kristal as they wait for the Magenta Team.
"Come on in." Kristal said happily to the Magenta team as they walked by, "You guys are getting a first look at the new Magenta Team, James voted out at the first elimination."
This news caused the likes of Alejandro, Riya, and Yul to smirk while Aiden gasped in horror at this turn of events.
"James…. No." Aiden said in disappointment.
“Oh Aiden…” Lake said softly.
"I'm so sorry Aiden." Tom said sympathetically.
"It's okay… I knew it could happen." Aiden sighed as Tom and Lake placed a comforting hand on each of his shoulders. Jake just looked guilty at seeing Aiden so distraught.
Confessional: Aiden
“This sucks. James is a better person than before and would be willing to play better than he did last time. Why would anyone hate him? It’s gonna be so much harder without him.” Aiden said miserably.
Confessional: Alejandro
“Well well, it seems the plan ended up working perfectly.” Alejandro said happily.
Confessionals End
“Before we explain today’s challenge, I would like to let you all know that this season, we have hidden three immunity totems.” Kristal smirked in delight.
“Whoa whoa whoa. Three?!” Ellie asked in shock.
“That’s right. Given we have such a large cast, we figured it was time to amp up the twists a little. That’s why we have two totems along with other special advantages that have been hidden as well.” Chef added on which made everyone in the cast look at each other in fear and/or interest.
"Time to explain today's challenge. We provided scuba gear for everyone. Once you're all dressed, you must enter the lake where you'll find clues to a hidden treasure chest. The two teams that find the chest first and bring it to the surface win invincibility and one more thing, the new marine life in camp can be a little dangerous." Kristal explained, "Get on your diving gear and we'll get started."
We then see Trevor, Marcus, and Chef handing out diving gear as Riya took her helmet with a worried look on her face.
"You okay Riya?" Connor asked in concern.
"It's just that scuba diving didn't end so well for me last time." Riya whimpered.
"Oh… right. Don't worry, I'll be right by your side the whole time." Connor smiled encouragingly.
"Promise you won't leave me?" Riya asked sadly.
"I promise." Connor confirmed, making Riya smile softly.
Soon the entire Yellow Team had their helmets on which made Courtney begin speaking.
“Okay everyone. I say all of us should split into pairs with one group of three.” Courtney said happily. “Grett and Yul, Connor and Riya, Alejandro and Alec, Owen, Zoey, and Anne Maria, and that leaves me with Scott.” Courtney instructed which made Scott widen his eyes in shock.
Confessional: Courtney
“Knowing Scott, he’s bound to be terrified of going underwater and I don’t trust anyone else to handle his phobias properly so I decided to pair up with him out of pity…” Courtney spoke formally as she went silent for a bit before glaring at the camera, “What?! That’s my reason! Nothing more!”
Confessional Ends
We then see Marcus handing Jake his helmet which he decided to put on and then strike a "sexy" pose.
"So how do I look? Could I be a runway model?" Jake asked teasingly.
"That’d be quite a wild fashion show, I'll tell you that." Ashley chuckled.
We then cut to everyone standing at the dock with their helmets and oxygen tanks on them with Kristal on her megaphone, "I'll be waiting right here. First two teams to bring their treasure chests back win immunity. Make use of those radios I generously gave you to communicate with each other. This challenge starts now."
We then cut to the Magenta Team all floating through the water together as Ashley began speaking.
“We should split into groups of three at least so that we can cover more ground.” Ashley suggested.
“Agreed. I’ll go with you and blueberry boy.” Jo smirked as she gestured to Ashley and Jake, “As for the rest of you, Heather, Gwen, and Cody can go together, along with Hunter, Ally, and Brick.”
“Wait, who am I going with?” Fiore asked harshly to which Jo widened her eyes.
“Whoops, kinda forgot about you.” Jo admitted sheepishly.
“Ugh, jerk.” Fiore scowled.
“We’ll take her.” Brick offered with a kindhearted smile to which Hunter widened his eyes.
“We will?” Hunter asked in shock and dismay before Ally elbow bumped him in the stomach as a gesture for him to be nice.
“Yes, we will.” Ally smiled kindly at Fiore to which she raised an eyebrow.
“If you say so…” Fiore said nervously.
Confessional: Fiore
“First the cadet voted for me last night and now he wants to team up with me in the challenge? What is his deal?” Fiore said suspiciously.
Confessional Ends
After that, we cut to the Cyan Team searching through the water together before Tom notices a dark tunnel nearby and points towards it.
“Ooh, I see something in there.” Tom said happily.
“Fine… but I don’t think moving rocks in scary dark tunnels ever ends well.” Aiden spoke worriedly.
“Relax. It’s just a tunnel. No need to be so paranoid.” Duncan rolled his eyes which earned him a glare from Aiden.
“Just be careful. It looks dark in there.” Gabby said in concern.
Tom, Aiden, and Duncan nodded before they swam inside the cave but as soon as they went in, their other teammates heard the two screaming.
“That’s it. I’m going after them.” Lake said sternly but before she could swim in the cave, Duncan, Tom, and Aiden immediately swam out of the cave, being chased by a shark much to everyone’s concern, though Ellie looked like she was going to have a mental breakdown from how much she was shaking and how wide her eyes were. However, no one seemed to notice this as they all were distracted by the boys’ situation.
“Please tell me you three are okay.” Leshawna spoke in concern.
“Yeeeeeeeeah. We’re just… distracting the shark for you…” Duncan smiled sheepishly as he spoke into his mic before Tom spoke up.
“Head into the tunnel, there’s a clue in there.” Tom quickly added.
“Those three probably need help. C’mon Dawn, you’re the best at taming animals.” Mike said worriedly as Dawn nodded before the two swam forward to catch up to Tom, Aiden, and Duncan.
As soon as all five of their teammates were gone, Tess and Gabby immediately noticed Ellie’s terrified expression.
“Ellie, are you okay?” Gabby asked worriedly.
“Sh-Shark… beady eyes… I… I just…” Ellie spoke but could barely form a sentence as tears began to form.
“Breathe Ellie. There’s no shark here right now. It’s just me, Gabby, Lake, Noah, and Leshawna. You’re safe with us.” Tess grasped Ellie’s hands, trying to comfort her friend who’s breathing was slowly steadying as she tightly grasped Tess’ hands as if they were her life support but not enough to hurt her.
“C’mon sweetie. You’ll be fine. We won’t let you go.” Gabby offered with a sweet smile which made Ellie smile at both Gabby and Tess before starting to join them in swimming. Leshawna and Noah just stared at what they just witnessed in shock before following the trio.
Confessional: Leshawna
“Goddamn… that was tough to watch. I’m just glad Gabby and Tess were there to keep Ellie stable.” Leshawna admitted in relief.
Confessional: Lake
“Seeing Ellie so scared and vulnerable made me feel really bad for her, especially with how much heat she’s been getting from Tom…” Lake admitted sadly before smiling in determination, “Maybe we can work on that.”
Confessional: Tess
“I’ve had my own panic attacks before. The only difference is no one was really there for me back when I had them. I was either told to stop being dramatic or people did the bare minimum. I’m really glad I was able to help Ellie when she needed it.” Tess said with a bittersweet grin.
Confessional: Gabby
“Once we moved in together, Ellie opened up about her shark phobia. Turns out putting her in the same pool as a shark last season was harder for her than she acted. I’m just glad she’s fighting through her fear.” Gabby also spoke bittersweetly.
Confessional: Ellie
“I…” Ellie began awkwardly before coughing into her fist and trying to give a cold glare to the camera, “I don’t owe you an explanation.”
Confessionals End
We then cut to Riya and Connor searching together when Riya pointed towards a nearby rock.
“Let’s go.” Connor said happily.
“I can’t… it’s too dark.” Riya shivered.
“Alright, I’ll be right back. Wait for me here.” Connor reassured the actress as he swam to get the clue by a rock down below while Riya began hyperventilating. Suddenly an eel swam beside her, causing her to scream and swim away.
“Riya!” Connor cried out in horror before swimming in front of the eel who was chasing Riya, held his oxygen tank to shield Riya and then swam upwards with her so they could make it to the surface.
“Guys! I found the clue!” Connor said from his radio.
“Great. Bring it here.” Alec said as he and the rest of the Yellow Team were swimming besides each other once they heard the news.
“I can’t. My oxygen tank broke.” Connor spoke vaguely as to not embarrass Riya.
“Nice going, gramps. Can you at least tell us what it says?” Yul asked impatiently.
“It’s a drawing of seaweed. That must be where the next clue is.” Connor informed the group.
“Let’s hustle people.” Courtney spoke in a motivated tone before the Yellow Team split off back into their groups.
We then cut to Jake, Ashley, and Jo searching through the water when Jake spoke up.
“Guys… can I confess something?” Jake asked sheepishly.
“What’s up?” Ashley asked curiously.
“I feel bad for voting out James. I wasn’t trying to be accusatory but I’m starting to think I should’ve kept my mouth shut. I’m starting to feel I was just being paranoid over Tom and Aiden.” Jake sighed sadly.
“Well you DID make some pretty dumbass claims in all fairness. I’d be more concerned if you didn’t feel bad.” Jo admitted with a laugh but seeing as Ashley and Jake raise an eyebrow at her remark, clearly weirded out, she stopped laughing.
“Jo could have worded it better but she does have a point. We don’t know for sure what’s going on between them.” Ashley reminded her friend.
“Who did you even hear this from anyway? I know you have issues, but I doubt even you would come to this conclusion on your own.” Jo asked skeptically.
“Uh… Alec brought it up. At first I felt like dismissing it but suddenly Alejandro intervened and admitted he noticed the same thing. It seemed like Alec wasn’t expecting him to say anything so it got me on edge.” Jake admitted sheepishly.
“Well I wouldn’t take what they say to heart. They both feed off causing drama for everyone. Trust me, I would know.” Jo rolled his eyes.
“I know… I just felt something really strange when they got super close together on Day 1 but now all I feel is guilt.” Jake sighed.
“There’s no changing the past. We just have to keep moving forward.” Ashley advised softly.
“Do you think it’s wrong that I feel guilty about this?” Jake asked curiously.
“Guilt can consume you if you let it. Trust me, I’ve been there before.” Ashley said sadly.
“You have?” Jo raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
“It happened a while ago.” Ashley responded.
“Do you wanna tell us?” Jake asked with equal concern.
“Trust me, I won’t laugh if it’s actually something serious.” Jo added in an attempt to reassure the cowgirl.
“Well…” Ashley began before noticing Tom, Duncan, and Aiden swimming away from the shark from earlier and ducked Jo and Jake down as they swam past the Magenta trio.
Tom, Aiden, and Duncan then hid behind a rock in which the shark bumped into, allowing Duncan to punch it in the nose so it could scurry off.
"We did it. Finally." Aiden smiled at Tom as they hugged, "We're alive!"
“Uh… I’m the one who just saved our asses!” Duncan replied incredulously.
“Do you WANT to be hugged?” Tom asked in confusion before Duncan widened his eyes in realization.
“Fair enough.” Duncan shrugged.
Jo and Ashley turned to Jake in worry that he’d overreact but Jake merely sighed in response.
“They just escaped a fight with a shark, I don’t blame them and Duncan doesn’t seem like the hugging type.” Jake admitted sadly which made Jo look at the blue haired boy in surprise before giving a proud smirk.
“C’mon, you two. We should probably look for the clues somewhere else.” Ashley gestured to Jo and Jake who nodded before swimming away. Tom noticed them leaving and sighed solemnly.
“Thank god, we finally caught up.” Mike said in relief as he and Dawn swam to the boys.
“Where’s the shark? Please tell me you didn’t stab it.” Dawn said worriedly as Duncan rolled his eyes.
“I’m a punk, not a psychopath. I just punched it in the nose to scare it off.” Duncan scoffed.
“That’s a relief.” Dawn breathed out.
“We should start looking for more clues.” Mike suggested to his teammates as he smiled nervously.
Confessional: Mike
“Look, don’t judge me, but I know how unforgiving this fanbase was to Mal’s actions back in my All Stars season and given Duncan has EVERY reason to be wary of me, I just want there to be no bad blood between us. It’s already awkward enough with Anne Maria and all…” Mike said solemnly.
Confessional Ends
We then cut back to Ellie, Gabby, Tess, Lake, Leshawna and Noah as Lake held up a clue in her hands.
“It’s a drawing of seaweed.” Lake informed her teammates.
“Oh, I know where that is.” Noah said happily as he began leading the girls out of the cave.
“Woohoo! We’re gonna win!” Gabby cheered as they all swam out of the cave.
“Wow, it’s like we’re one happy family.” Tess said happily.
“Agreed Tess, and I was thinking… what if the six of us form an alliance?” Noah suggested kindheartedly.
“I would consider it.” Tess admitted with a smile.
“Same here, I like your vibe.” Ellie complimented with a smirk.
“If Ellie’s in, so am I.” Gabby nodded.
“Dang, you’re getting better at this game stringbean.” Leshawna smirked proudly, “Hey, I’m game.”
“Uh… I’m in too.” Lake smiled nervously.
Confessional: Lake
“Not gonna lie, I am a little nervous joining this alliance without Aiden but hopefully I can get the others to spare him if we go to an elimination.” Lake admitted in concern.
Confessional Ends
“Why do you want to align with us, specifically?” Lake asked curiously.
“Well… you’re all decently trustworthy and we seem to get along just fine.” Noah explained, “Tom, Duncan, and Mike all have histories of being super shady, Dawn would probably side with Mike, and Aiden literally caused a medical evacuation.”
“What Aiden did was an accident though.” Lake reminded the bookworm nervously.
“True, but I can’t deny the facts. I think I see the next clue so we should probably keep moving.” Noah shrugged as the group began swimming again but the air did become somewhat awkward after that.
Confessional: Noah
“I wasn’t lying to the others as to why I wanted them in an alliance. I know Ellie isn’t the most trustworthy person herself, but I would rather be with her than against her. Besides, where she goes, Gabby and Tess follow and I’ll be honest, I found her way more tolerable to watch than the guy who yelled at the person he got medically evacuated.” Noah admitted bluntly.
Confessional Ends
We then cut to Ally, Hunter, Brick, and Fiore swimming together with Hunter giving Fiore suspicious glares until Fiore decided to speak up.
“Are you seriously going to spend this whole challenge shooting daggers at me?!” Fiore asked in annoyance.
“I’m just making sure you don’t pop my oxygen tank or do whatever evil deed that gives you sick pleasure.” Hunter rolled his eyes.
“Oh my god, I’m not that depraved. Why do you have such a vendetta against me?! I didn’t even DO anything to you!” Fiore asked incredulously.
“Not yet.” Hunter muttered.
“Hunter, cool it. Let’s just split off to look for clues right now.” Ally glared at her boyfriend as a sign to de-escalate an argument before it could begin.
After that, Hunter and Ally swam ahead of Brick and Fiore to further look for clues, the cadet took this as an opportunity to swim closer to the child.
“Hey, I’m sorry about Hunter giving you a hard time.” Brick whispered to Fiore sympathetically.
“Why do you care? You voted for me after all.” Fiore grumbled.
“It wasn’t personal, I swear.” Brick reassured the girl, “I just needed an easy vote that would keep the team united. Truthfully, I didn’t want anyone eliminated at all.”
“I guess that tracks.” Fiore rolled her eyes.
“How about this, to make up for unfairly voting for you, I will vote with you for whoever you want at the next elimination so long as it’s not Cody or Ally. What do you say?” Brick offered a handshake to which Fiore hummed suspiciously at before smirking and accepting it.
“Deal.” Fiore smirked.
Confessional: Fiore
“Yeah, I’m kinda pissed that Brick voted for me for no reason but I’ve seen his season before so I know it wasn’t personal. Besides, I could use the allies.” Fiore smirked mischievously.
Confessional: Brick
“I figured Fiore could use an olive branch. She is just a kid at the end of the day.” Brick said happily before adding, “However I have no intentions of voting for Cody and Ally given I’ve been getting along with them so that’s why I made sure to add my own conditions to this agreement. Fiore is slippery after all.”
Confessionals End
We then cut to Courtney and Scott swimming together as Scott was nervously looking around the area, his eyes darting all over the place. Eventually, Courtney realized that they weren’t going to get anywhere if Scott was acting like this.
“Scott, I’ve watched Disventure Camp before. It has it’s problems but I highly doubt Kristal and Chef are sadistic enough to add Fang into this challenge.” Courtney spoke in an attempt to reassure the dirt farmer.
“Yeah, but there are still sharks in the water either way. I am not having a repeat of the Trauma Chair.” Scott spoke firmly which surprised Courtney before her voice softened a little.
“Was it really that bad in the trauma chair… from what I saw in Sierra’s blogs, you weren’t in there for long.” Courtney asked which made Scott widen his eyes before Courtney backtracked, “I’m sorry. I can see this is a sensitive topic, you don’t have to elaborate.”
“Nah, you’re good. Yes, it was pretty bad in the trauma chair but not because of the chair itself as it made sure I would survive but more so because of the fact that Fang was SO close to killing me. Dakota, Jo, and Dawn had to interfere back at Playa De Losers before Fang could get carried away in his revenge.” Scott informed the overachiever.
“They did? But didn’t everyone laugh at you in the finale?” Courtney asked skeptically.
“They were paid to do that, it helped that I would make a speedy recovery.” Scott explained with a shrug, “Producers wanted to show a satisfactory aftermath for my karmic downfall since I was the main villain of Revenge.”
“I see… I’m sorry that you had to go through that.” Courtney said sincerely which surprised Scott but he gave her a reassuring smile.
“Don’t worry. I’m still here, aren’t I?” Scott chuckled sardonically, “You’re right about one thing. We should focus on finding the last clue.”
Scott and Courtney continued swimming in awkward silence but despite that awkwardness, both of them felt a slight sense of comfort from the other.
We then cut to Gwen, Cody, and Heather swimming together with the silent tension between Gwen and Heather being clear as day.
“So… any sign of the clues?” Cody asked with a nervous smile, hoping to de-escalate the tension.
“Nope. Can’t seem to find a clue anywhere.” Heather growled in annoyance, “I swear, it’s like the hosts buried them under the sand or something.”
“We just need to look harder. No sense in being overdramatic about this.” Gwen rolled her eyes.
“Well sorry if I don’t feel like going to a second elimination ceremony in a row so early in this game.” Heather argued furiously, “Let’s just split up, we’ll cover more ground.”
Soon enough, Heather swam further away from Cody and Gwen to which the geek nervously turned to the goth.
“You could stand to tone down your beef with her a little.” Cody said sheepishly.
“You serious? Have you forgotten all of our past history?” Gwen asked pessimistically.
“I haven’t, but I also haven’t forgotten that you two work better together than apart and right now, we need the numbers if we want to survive another elimination.” Cody said sternly which Gwen opened her mouth to argue with but closed it once she realized she had no counterpoint.
“Look, I’m one of the few people who kept in contact with Heather after Total Drama and we get along decently well outside the show. I think I could find a way for her to side with us at the next vote but you need to show you’re willing to work with her for this to work.” Cody reminded the goth.
“I hate it when you’re right. Fine, I’ll try to be civil with her.” Gwen sighed.
“Thanks Gwen.” Cody smiled gratefully.
We then cut to Zoey, Anne Maria, and Owen swimming together in silence for a bit until Owen sheepishly spoke up.
“Hey girls… if it’s not too much trouble, I was wondering if we could vote for Yul if we ever lose a challenge.” Owen smiled nervously.
“Oh I am SO on board with that.” Anne Maria smirked in agreement, “That guy has major issues.”
“I also agree with voting Yul but I feel I should warn you guys about something.” Zoey told her group.
“What’s up, girl?” Anne Maria asked curiously.
“I saw Alejandro and Alec talking to each other at the animal challenge. I’m worried they could be up to something.” Zoey admitted in concern which both Owen and Anne Maria seemed intrigued by.
“Hmmm, you definitely have a point there, Red.” Anne Maria hummed, “Those two are slippery devils after all.”
“Yeah, Alejandro especially is a force to be reckoned with.” Owen admitted worriedly.
“Just something to keep in mind for the future. For now, voting out Yul is a good idea.” Zoey elaborates to which Anne Maria and Owen nod before the group of Mike, Dawn, Tom, Aiden, and Duncan swim towards them.
“Hey guys! Have you seen the rest of our team, we got separated.” Mike waves happily at the presence of Zoey though he tries his best to fight the awkward feelings that emerge when he sees Anne Maria.
“No, we haven’t seen them, unfortunately.” Zoey said sympathetically before smiling at Mike, Dawn, and Duncan, “Though it is nice to see some friendly faces here.”
“Same goes for you, Zoey.” Dawn smiled back.
“I’m guessing it isn’t that fun on Yellow Team, huh?” Aiden asked with an amused smirk.
“Where do we even begin with that team?” Zoey rolled her eyes, “Alejandro and Alec are snakes, and Riya and Yul are just generally unpleasant.”
“Yeah… not even I can say anything positive about Yul.” Owen admitted sheepishly.
“Oof, he must be awful then.” Duncan cringed.
“Yeah, sorry you guys have to deal with that.” Mike spoke sympathetically.
“It definitely sucks but we should probably split off before anyone catches us. It could place a big target on our backs.” Anne Maria said dismissively.
“Good call. Let’s go, guys.” Tom nodded before he and the rest of the Cyan members swam off as Zoey raised an eyebrow at Anne Maria.
“What was that all about?” Zoey asked Anne Maria in concern.
“It’s nothing. Just didn’t want to put us on the chopping block is all. We should go find the next clue.” Anne Maria dismissed before swimming forward with Owen following. Zoey gave a brief look of worry before following the two.
We then cut to Alejandro and Alec searching together before Alejandro decided to make conversation.
“You must've been relieved to see that Fiore was safe, I’m sure.” Alejandro smirked teasingly as Alec’s eyes widened in shock.
“Please. I was just trying to create a rift on the other team. Keeping Fiore only benefits that.” Alec scoffed.
“Heather and Jo are also on Magenta Team, you could’ve easily waited before causing drama.” Alejandro argued with a smirk to which Alec groaned before the Spaniard raised his hands in reassurance, “Relax, I’m not judging you. I understand how you feel when it comes to your broken bond with Fiore. You want to fix things with her but your pride prevents you from making that clear, am I correct?”
“How did you figure that out?” Alec raised an eyebrow.
“It’s exactly how I felt when it came to me and Heather back in our second season together and while the circumstances of your friendship with Fiore are way different than my relationship, I can see the resemblance.” Alejandro explained.
“I see.” Alec put a finger to his chin before noticing a wood plank, “I found a clue. It seems that the chest is in a cave.”
“Let’s move then.” Alejandro said but as they swam, noticed Heather swimming by herself in which Alejandro and Alec decided to approach her.
“Mi amor, what are you doing alone?” Alejandro asked in concern.
“Got into an argument with Gwen so I split off to search for any clues because so far, none of us have found any.” Heather growled in annoyance.
“We can help you.” Alec told the Queen Bee who seemed surprised by the offer.
“Would you?” Heather asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Of course. Your team is likely to vote for you if they lose and I cannot allow that to happen.” Alejandro smirked seductively which made Heather blush from under her scuba mask as Alejandro continued. “Besides, most of our team is filled with expendable targets either way.”
“If you two are done flirting, we should probably focus on the challenge now.” Alec said sternly before turning to Heather, “Okay Heather, tell your team you overheard us find the last clue and that the chest is in the cave. Alejandro, let’s go alert our teammates of our chest’s whereabouts.”
Alejandro and Alec soon swam away as Heather immediately began speaking into her earpiece.
“Alright fish for brains, I overheard Yellow Team find the last clue. The chest is in the cave, MOVE!” Heather said sternly.
We then cut to Grett and Yul searching together when Yul spoke up.
“Have you found anything?” Yul asked impatiently.
“Nope.” Grett sighed.
“Ugh! Where is that stupid clue?!” Yul asked incredulously, making Grett chuckle.
“You're so cute when you're frustrated." Grett cooed.
"Seriously?" Yul said, deadpan.
"Yeah darling." Grett put a hand to Yul's chest causing him to slap her hand away.
"Don't you dare touch me!" Yul cried out furiously.
"What?!" Grett said worriedly.
“Uh… well… let’s just focus on finding the next clue.” Yul weakly defended himself.
"We have the last clue. The chest is in a cavern." Alec’s voice could be heard through their earpieces.
"There's a cavern in that direction." Grett pointed out.
"C'mon then.” Yul began swimming quickly as Grett soon followed.
Confessional: Grett
"Sometimes I feel Yul acts a little distant towards me but maybe physical affection isn't his thing." Grett said awkwardly.
Confessional: Yul
“Ugh. Grett may be one of the few tolerable people on this show, but must she insist on physical touch as her love language. It’s nauseating to deal with.” Yul growled in disgust.
Confessionals End
We then cut to the inside of a cave where Jake, Ashley, and Jo, Grett and Yul, and Noah, Leshawna, Lake, Ellie, Tess, and Gabby were swimming towards the team colored treasure chests and soon enough, all of them worked with their respective teammates to grab their chests and began swimming to the surface. It was a close race but in the end…
…
…
…
…
Magenta Team placed their chest on the dock first while Cyan Team made it second meaning Yellow Team had lost.
“Magenta Team and Cyan Team have their chests up and win immunity!” Chef announced happily after all the teams resurfaced, “Magenta Team, since you were first. You can take what's inside. A fishing kit which can catch anything from man-eating sharks to simple goldfish."
“The Magenta Team immediately cheered while Heather and Fiore looked a bit worried for Alejandro and Alec respectively.
“We lost?! Are you serious?!” Riya asked incredulously as her team made it back onto the dock.
“Like you have any right to complain. You were just cowering about swimming the whole time. You are SO going home!” Yul told Riya furiously.
“Right back at you.” Riya narrowed her eyes as she and Yul glared at each other but before things could escalate, Chef interrupted angrily.
“Ahem… if I can get through this without any more interruptions. Yellow Team, luck was not on your side, we’ll see you tonight for elimination.” Chef said sinisterly which made Yul and Riya glare at each other while everyone else just looked worried.
We then cut to a secluded area in the forest at Yellow Team’s campsite when Alec brought Scott and Courtney over to where Alejandro was standing.
“Scott, Courtney, so glad you decided to join us.” Alejandro said with an accommodating smile as Scott and Courtney both looked unamused by Alejandro’s charming gentleman act.
“Can we just get this over with?” Courtney asked sternly, “Alec said you wanted to talk with us about the vote.”
“You’d be correct in that.” Alejandro nodded before adding, “I merely ask for your help in voting for Owen.”
“You STILL hold a grudge against him?!” Scott raised an eyebrow judgmentally, “You realize he didn’t know about your family trauma, right?”
“I assure you, we are not targeting Owen out of any personal vendettas. My hatred for him has diminished greatly since we last spoke.” Alejandro reassured the duo.
“So why are you targeting him?” Courtney asked skeptically.
“You’ve seen how much of a social threat Owen can be. He’s made merge in all three of his seasons and even though he had to return to merge in Action, he would’ve likely survived that vote if it weren’t for your lawyer mandated immunity.” Alec reminded the overachiever who looked concerned as she recalled Owen’s past achievements.
“Besides, Owen has proven he can be quite a challenge liability at times.” Alejandro added on, “Getting rid of him will only benefit us.”
Courtney and Scott gave each other a concerned look before Courtney spoke for both of them.
“We’ll think about it.” Courtney spoke civilly.
“That’s all we can ask.” Alec said happily.
After that, Alec and Alejandro walked away from Scott and Courtney to give them some space before Scott turned to the overachiever.
“You really think we can trust them?” Scott asked in concern.
“The answer to that is always no, but they have a point about Owen’s likability. I’ve competed with him before, I know what a power player he can be if he manages to slip by enough eliminations.” Courtney answered.
“I’m aware, I watched your seasons but I’ll be honest, the idea of getting rid of Yul is rather enticing considering how much of a prick he is.” Scott acknowledged.
“Well… whatever we decide, we better do it quick.” Courtney sighed.
After that, we cut to nighttime as the Yellow Team was seen at the elimination ceremony with Kristal and Chef standing in front of them.
“Yellow Team, welcome to your first elimination. Love to see returning faces.” Kristal said happily, “I’m sure you know how this works so let’s get to it.”
Voting: Yul
Yul glared at his ballot as he was making his vote.
Voting: Grett
Grett looked somewhat remorseful as she wrote down her vote.
Voting: Riya
“I do not want to deal with this nuisance again.” Riya glared hatefully at the camera as she held up her vote for Yul.
Voting: Connor
Connor looked concerned as he made his vote.
Voting: Alejandro
Alejandro smirked confidently as he wrote down his vote.
Voting: Alec
Alec looked bored but made his vote regardless.
Voting: Zoey
Zoey bit her lip fearfully but put her vote in the urn.
Voting: Anne Maria
Anne Maria angrily stuffed her vote in the urn.
Voting: Owen
Owen gave a cheeky smile at the camera as he held up a vote for Yul.
Voting: Courtney
Courtney put a finger to her chin in thought but soon wrote down her vote.
Voting: Scott
Scott looked nervous as he wrote down his vote.
Voting Ends
"Once the votes are read, the decision is final." Chef smirked as he held the voting urn, "The person voted out will have to leave immediately. First vote…"
Yul and Riya glared at each other, Grett and Connor looked concerned for their partners, Anne Maria, Scott, and Courtney looked skeptical, Zoey and Owen looked fearful, and Alejandro and Alec looked confident.
“Yul.”
Yul glared at Riya, knowing the vote was from her.
“Yul.”
Yul rolled his eyes, knowing that Connor must’ve also voted with Riya.
“Owen.”
Owen audibly gasped, not expecting to hear his name mentioned so soon.
“Owen.”
Owen began to bite his lip in fear while Zoey secretly glared at Alejandro and Alec.
“Yul.”
“WHAT?!” Yul cried out indignantly, making Riya and Connor smirk.
“Yul. That’s four votes Yul, two votes Owen.” Chef said dramatically as Yul began to look pissed while Owen looked calmer.
“Owen.”
Owen widened his eyes at seeing another vote for him while Zoey and Anne Maria looked concerned.
“Owen.”
Connor and Riya raised an eyebrow at each other at seeing Owen get so many votes.
“Yul. That’s five votes Yul, four votes Owen. Two votes left.”
Yul looked beyond enraged while Owen was shaking in his seat and Scott and Courtney gave each other a nervous look.
“Owen.”
Sweat began dripping from Owen’s forehead as Yul’s eye twitched.
“Second person voted out of Totally Disventurous All Stars is… Owen.” Chef flipped the last vote, “That’s six votes, it’s time for you to go.”
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Owen wailed dramatically, “Why me?! And over Yul of all people?!”
“Ugh, rude.” Yul rolled his eyes in a sassy manner.
“Sorry you got screwed over, Owen.” Zoey said apologetically as she placed an arm over Owen’s shoulder.
“Yeah, this team clearly has no class.” Anne Maria scoffed, also pissed at the turnout of this vote.
“Well… I did already win in this type of show before.” Owen smiled sadly before turning to Zoey and Anne Maria, “Can you say goodbye to Noah for me?”
“Of course.” Zoey smiled reassuringly which brightened Owen’s smile.
Soon enough, Owen walked towards the bus stop, stopping for a brief moment to see Zoey, Anne Maria, Connor, Scott, and Grett waving him off which made him smile before heading to the bus stop in which he waved happily at the camera before the Bus Of Losers came to pick him up.
Confessional: Yul
“That was a close one. If it weren’t for Alec telling me and Grett that the vote was on Owen tonight, I would've been screwed.” Yul said furiously before putting a finger to his chin, “I’ll have to consult with Grett about this further.”
Confessional: Scott
“Trust me, I don’t enjoy keeping Yul as much as any sane person. I’m not that heartless.” Scott rolled his eyes before his expression turned serious, “But Alejandro and Courtney had a point about Owen’s social game. Putting up with Yul better be worth it though.”
Confessionals End
We then cut to Connor and Riya walking back to camp, though Riya seemed to be concerned while Connor merely looked disappointed.
“It’s a shame we couldn’t get rid of Yul, but at least we’re still here.” Connor admitted, trying to look at the bright side of things but Riya wasn’t listening, and instead trying to make sure no one was around.
“Connor… we need to talk.” Riya said sadly.
“What’s up?” Connor asked in concern.
“Thank you… for helping me with scuba diving. I know I’ve been mistreating you again and… I’m sorry about that.” Riya apologized remorsefully which made Connor hug her before letting her go.
“You’re trying, and that’s what counts. I’ll always be here for you.” Connor reassured his semi-girlfriend.
"I need to be honest. At the very least, you deserve that. I know you came back to the show to support me and I really like you Connor but I came to win, I don't want there to be any more confusion." Riya said sternly.
"Oh." Connor said in shock.
"I've been trying to push you away because I thought it'd hurt less… look, you have to stay away from me." Riya explained sadly.
"But why?" Connor said, hurt by what she just asked.
"I don't want to hurt you anymore. You're a good man Connor but to win this game, I can't keep going down the honorable path. It's not how this industry works." Riya said, looking like she was about to cry.
"I thought you wanted to be better. That's why you came back." Connor said, showing hints of anger.
"Well… you thought wrong." Riya crossed her arms causing Connor to look down miserably.
"We shouldn't be each other's burdens anymore. We need to take some time apart." Riya said sadly.
"Is that what I am to you… a burden?" Connor asked, clearly hurt.
"It's over. I hope you respect me enough to keep playing the game together but we can't be anything more than that." Riya sighed solemnly before she walked away from Connor, leaving the old man looking down dejected.
Notes:
Author’s Note: And so Owen is eliminated and Lake has been spared for another day. I figured it was obvious Owen was never going to win this season due to not having much to do and having an already insane track record so I figured that booting him second was the best way to go.
Sorry he didn’t get much chances to interact with Noah, but trust me, he will get chances to interact with him eventually whether it be in the aftermath or Comeback Challenge.
