For the most part, Spinel never doubted that Pink would come back for her. But…6,000+ years is a really, REALLY long time. So, naturally, anyone stuck in one place for that long would occasionally lose faith.
She always dismissed the thoughts as quickly as they came into her head. Who wouldn’t? They were utterly ridiculous and irrational. Pink would never do that to her.
Right?
She would come back. She would. Really it was silly for Spinel to think otherwise, traitorous. It was just a game. Pink would come back and then they’d play all sorts of other, more fun, games.
