Chapter Text
Frater was laid up in his new office, pouting about spending the holiday by himself. Childish? Maybe a bit but he wouldn't admit that most of the self pity was still from his lost twin taking his place. Copia turned on the block of a computer that sat on his desk, ready to make some bitter post on Reddit when all of a sudden there was a knock at his door.
"Oh for hells sake."
He got up and opened the door, his entire demeanor changing when he looked up and saw Aether standing before him, holding a bowl of candy and smiling down with a slight flush over his lavender face.
"Trick or treat"
Copia smiled warmly, he loved Aether, no promotion (or demotion) would ever change that. He let the ghoul in the room and Aethers tail swayed behind him as he plopped down on the makeshift office couch.
Aether spoke up, the soft glow of his patterns radiating like a cool wave. "I didn't want you to be alone. I know you might be upset."
"You love me too much". With that, Copia plopped next to him, Aethers tail finding one of Copias plush thighs to lay against as they turned on the TV.
After a while, the candy was forgotten and the two of them just laid there, talking about the state of the ministry and the change between Papas before Aether shut Copia up with a single kiss.
"Looks like you got treat, C" Aether smiled down at Copia at the sound of his cheesy line. Copia just looked back up at Aether with a love in his eyes like no other.
"Happy Halloween, amore mio..."
