Chapter Text
The next day, Yatta was hornier than ever.
She had known it the moment she had woken up. It felt horrible. All she could think about, lying in her bed, were beautiful women. She tried to think of anything, anything else. But, alas, she couldn’t.
Thus, for the better of humanity, Yatta decided to stay in her room all day. She laid in her bed, her Powerpuff Girls blanket wrapped around her. She tossed and turned, trying to take her mind off of her lesbian-ness.
C’mon, Yatta. There’s gotta be something you can do. Think.
After about a few minutes, an unusual idea came to her. Slowly, her eyes travelled down to her pelvic region.
There…there was something that Connie told me about. She called it…gooning, I think? Or…was she talking about being a “master baiter”? She said that it helped with horniness. Hmmm.
Unsure of what she was supposed to do, Yatta tapped her kneecap lightly. Nothing happened as a result. Shoot. Maybe I’m supposed to…
This time, Yatta tried stroking her leg. While it did make her feel…things…for a moment, it didn’t help with her overall mood. God dammit. Wait. Am I…do I have to…
Yatta rubbed her left hip. Again, nothing satisfying came from it. UGH! What do I need to DOOOOOOOOOOOO?!
At that moment, a knock came from Yatta’s door. Tired and unwilling to get out of bed, she yelled at the knocker. “COME IN!”
After a few moments of silence, Yatta’s door opened. She turned her head over to see Toodles and Gourdy, standing by her bedside with gazes of childlike curiosity. Yatta became confused. “Uhhhh…are you guys LOST?”
“Not at all, Ms. Yatta!” Toodles said, cheerful. “We wanted to come and see you.”
“Oh! Uh…WHY?”
“We heard from Mr. Goob that you were feeling sad,” Gourdy piped up. “So we thought we should come hang out with you.”
Yatta was stunned. They…want to hang out with me?
“Well, you’re welcome to stay,” Yatta said. “ONLY if you want to, though.”
“Ok!” the two kids said simultaneously.
Immediately, Toodles pulled out several pieces of construction paper from her jacket pocket. At the same time, Gourdy reached inside of his hollow head and revealed a tiny pamphlet that seemed to have been stored there for a while. Having their materials, the two began to fold their paper in different ways, looking at the pamphlet as a guide of some sort. Curious, Yatta sat up and looked down at what they were doing.
“Is that…ORIGAMI?”
“It sure is!” Toodles chirped. “You wanna join us, Ms. Yatta?”
“Uh…if you don’t mind,” Yatta replied. With a grunt, she got up from her bed and sat on the floor, crossing her legs over each other. “So, how does it WORK, exactly?”
“Simple!” Gourdy said, sliding Yatta a piece of paper. “You just follow the instructions in the book! It’s easy peasy, lemon squeezy!”
Listening intently, Yatta flipped through the pages of the pamphlet, looking for a good animal to make. Swan? No. Snake? No. Shrimp? HELL NO.
Then, her eyes fell upon a design for a bunny. The sight of it made her heart flutter, and she pointed at it. “This one. Is it HARD?”
Gourdy peered at the instructions for it. “Ooh. It is. I don’t think me or Toodles could do it. But you’re an adult, so I guess you could!”
“OK!” Yatta replied, now excited. Toodles, seemingly noticing Yatta’s enthusiasm, piped up with an oddly personal question.
“Does the bunny remind you of Ms. Cocoa, Ms. Yatta?”
Yatta instantly blushed at the mention of the Toon. “ERR. UMM. WHY ARE YOU ASKING?”
“Oh! Mrs. Teagan told me all about you two walking around, holding hands! I just thought I’d ask.”
“W-WELL,” Yatta stammered. “If I’m being HONEST with you kids, yeah. She’s…a great gal. I just want to make an origami that looks like her.”
“Awww! Are you in love?”
“HEY! You’re a kid! Aren’t you supposed to be, like, unaware of romance?”
“We know it exists, Ms. Yatta.”
“You DO?”
“Yup!” Gourdy chimed in. “One time, me and Toodles walked in on Mr. Boxten and Mr. Glisten kissing with their tongues! We can handle a little love story every so often!”
“Yeah! Plus, me and Gourdy are writing a story about ponies in love with each other!”
“REALLY?” Yatta asked, intrigued.
“Really!”
Yatta laughed. “ALRIGHT! Sick! Whatta ya say we fold some origami now?”
“YEAH!” the two children cried at once.
An hour later, Yatta laid in bed again. In her hands was her brown bunny origami, resting lightly in the cusp of her palm.
Toodles and Gourdy had left her room a while ago, needing to check in with Rodger so that the magnifying glass didn’t go into a panicked frenzy looking for them. Yatta had managed to finish her bunny rather quickly, and had even added the little details that made it seem like it was Cocoa in that piece of paper.
But…
Yatta knew it wasn’t truly Cocoa. It never would be. The real Cocoa, the one she had been dying to confess to for years, was out of reach now.
I’ve fucked with so many girls…why’d I never tell her she was special? Why did I just…screw things up? Make her think it was just for fun? She’s…the only person who…
Yatta shook her head, shutting her eyes at the same time. No, no, no. I…I always acted like all I wanted to do was eat her. But…she…I thought so much more of her than as some kind of fuckgirl. She’s someone who I care about. Someone who makes me whole. Someone who I wanted to spend time with, more than anyone else in the whole world.
She’s…someone who I love.
With a sigh, Yatta set her tiny Cocoa figurine on her bedside table. She laid there for a long moment, just staring at the tiny, paper creation, half-hoping that it would come to life and reveal itself to be the real Cocoa.
But it didn’t.
Turning away from the figurine, Yatta fell asleep.
