Harmony was searching for things to do, but then a thought popped up in her head. What if I invited Ven over to do something? Without thinking, they sent Ven a text asking if he would wanna come over. Within a little time, she got a text back. “Y’know what? Sure, what time should I be there?” They then responded with a quick text back, “Like, 7:30? Would that be a good time?” “Yeah I’ll be there.”  

Harmony spent the time up until her hangout getting ready. They cleaned their room, brushed her hair, and got dressed in semi-nice clothes. (They were still comfy in case they didn't end up leaving her house.) After finishing everything she could think of to do, all that was left was to wait for Ven. She checked the time on their phone, and… She still had 30 minutes left.

With nothing, and I mean literally nothing better to do, she started looking for movies. First 10 minutes passed, then 20, and soon, Ven would be at Harmony’s door. “Oh- shit Vens here already?” Harmony quickly got up and opened the door. “Hello!” “Hey,” Harmony let Ven in. “So, what did you invite me over for?” Ven asked. “Movie night.” Harmony replied. “I’m gonna make popcorn, can you look for movies while I do that?” “Yeah.” 

Harmony leaves Ven in the living room, where they flop down onto the couch, before going into the kitchen to work on her own task. They make two bags before pouring them both into a rather large bowl to share. 

After finishing in the kitchen, she walks back into the living room where it appears Ven has already found a movie. Harmony sits on the couch next to Ven, not close enough to where they're touching yet, and places the popcorn bowl on her lap, still in reach for Ven.

Ven then pressed play, starting the movie. About 10 minutes in though, Harmony almost zoned out in her thoughts. Is it gonna be like those corny ass movies where 2 people reach for popcorn at the same time and hold hands? Will that… Actually happen with us? ARE WE GONNA KISS?? Harmony quickly heard how ridiculous she sounded and unzoned out. Putting her focus on the movie… And partially Ven. 

Maybe she paid a bit too much attention to Ven because he looked over at her. “Uh, you okay?” Harmony quickly looked away, focusing back on the movie, “Yeah, I-I’m fine” She stuttered out slightly. Ven went back to watching the movie with Harmony still thinking about them.

Harmony kept fading in and out of zoning out. Having been the SIMP she is, it was hard to not stay out of zoning out. She then felt her face getting hot and excused herself to go splash water on her face, though that isn't what she told to ven. She got the cold water running in the sink and splashed her face with it, “I can’t keep fading in and out of thinking about Ven and watching the movie I'm being too obvious about it.” 

She finished in the bathroom and walked back out, once again sitting next to Ven on the couch. Ven handed them the popcorn back and they continued to watch the movie in silence, or that's how Harmony would have described it if Ven hadn't also grabbed her hand. Yep, she was definitely eternally freaking out.

Harmony was looking down, a near noticeable blush on her face. WHAT THE HELL I'M SCARED WHAT WHY WOULD HE DO THIS AHHH???!?!?!??! On Ven’s side though, they were also freaking out internally Why the FUCK would I do that I am SO obvious. Needless to say, both Ven and Harmony were freaking out internally. 

Ven then proceeded to try to play it off, like any other nonchalant person would, but pretty much fails from the likely noticeable blush on her cheeks and the Harmony next to them who we have established, is a SIMP. Ven also then tries to act like nothing was happening, which is 100% totally different than trying to play it off and actually does that part pretty well. So then, get this, 2 main characters KISS in the movie cuz OFC and what else am I supposed to put there?

“Wanna… do that?” Harmony suddenly blurts out while pointing at the TV. Ven looks over and stares at them with something the resembles… disbelief..? Before responding, “Uh, y-yeah… sure”.

Before Ven could change his mind, They felt Harmony’s lips on her own. Ven leaned into the kiss. Ven put their hand on Harmony’s face and Harmony’s hands went to Ven’s waist. Harmony pulled away after a moment, needing to breathe. Her face was flushed and they were sweating, same with Ven. 

Yep, Harmony was very happy with their decision of inviting Ven over.
