Proteam Unbound was going to be Game of the Year, and everybody knew it. Canari typically didn't care for that sort of gameplay, but it would be sure to boost her views. She'd just hit 100 subs, and she found herself chasing even greater heights.
To get a better grasp on Tauri-Plane's mechanics - quickly jotting that idea down to make a joke during that night's stream- she decided to check out the multiplayer scene a couple hours before getting to work.
6Spectral0Solace9 was a Tauri-Liner main, and they were damn good at it. They carried Canari through a particularly challenging boss battle all while keeping their mic muted. And they kept it muted for every session.
Months later, Canari would discover why that was always the case, tugging her hoodie tightly around her body to hide the marks on her neck. How could one man be so loud? And how could they possibly be related?
She didn't worry for long about if he had figured out just what the two of them had been up to that day. Rightfully so. He didn't seem to think too deeply about anything.
Canari wasn't sure he'd even remember that she existed after that. And for once, she was okay with being forgotten.
She was content to see his sister in a light that he could likely never fathom. She didn’t need more than that.
Charjabug Cluster? Now that was Canari's vibe.
Coincidentally, that also was the game that changed things. A pesky character-limit on player handles made "6Spectral0Solace9" impossible. She shrugged as her mod team all tried to get the most elusive of their group to just shorten it- but nothing seemed to stick.
"G-Volt", Canari suggested, quickly receiving a call that she was worried it would spoil her anonymity - only for another mod to mistake the "g" for "gushing."
It wasn't entirely inaccurate.
Canari would later find the moniker to be quite fun to say against Gwynn's lips.
