Chapter Text

The first thing Avid felt when he awoke again was a wave of massive pain, first in his chest, just as if someone had stabbed him (wich someone did),and then a after few seconds (like 3 sec) his stomach also hurt just like the right side of his head throbbed. the second thing Avid felt was a strange sort of numness in his right hand. Then, the third and last thing he felt was pure unfiltered 𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧... He was 𝙁𝙐𝙍𝙄𝙊𝙐𝙎... and he didn't even know why... Then it hit him... He remembered.... 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜... From the when he was a toddler (as early as he can remember was when he was 3-4),to when he was a kid, remembering when he was in that damned forest and didn't notice 𝘪𝘵 in time and got scratched..... He remembers searching for years for a cure against what he had been turning into with Elle... Oh Elle.... He remembers the day she came back from a mission bitten... He remembers her attacking him after a few minutes and him having to kill her.... He remembers going to Oakhurst for a cure or at least a 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 death and then meeting everyone, Scott, Shelby, apo...., legs..., drift, sausage, abolish.., Cleo, Martyn., Ren. , pearl., and..... 𝘈𝘯𝘥... 𝙊𝙬𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙮𝙧𝙤!...

Avid wanted to try to sit up before he remembering how he should be dead, he had already been in limbo with Elle... Oh God... He got to see Elle again...(he didn't notice one or two tears rolling down his cheek) He should be dead... He looks at at himself and his gaze lands apon his right arm and he pauses for a moment... His... His hand is pitch black... Just like the right side of Elle was...

Ok, he thinks he knows why he's alive again now (or at least somewhat understands, enough to not break his head over it). He looks up and sees... Wood?.. He died in the crypt hole tho? Did someone burry him?...why tho?
And who?... He doesn't care for that right now, he has bigger things to take care off. 𝙊𝙬𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙮𝙧𝙤......... Aaaannd getting out of his own grave..

Avid kicks and punches the coffin he's in for a minute before it breaks, now he just has to dig up a way to the surface trought the dirt. He looks around and noticed he has claws again, or at least on his right hand... Meh, at least he can dig better with them. As he digs the dirt and makes a way out of his grave, he touches routes of a flower, a wither rose... Huh.. They used to be harmful as human, sting a lil as vamp, but this feels... Almost nice...

Once he got out of his grave he took in his surroundings when his eyes land on the wither rose, he picks up the flower w his left hand but it stung in his normal hand so he switched it to his weird right hand, where it has a nice feeling holding it. (̶H̶e̶ d̶i̶d̶n̶'̶t̶ n̶o̶t̶i̶c̶e̶ t̶h̶e̶ b̶l̶a̶c̶k̶ o̶n̶ h̶i̶s̶ h̶a̶n̶d̶ s̶l̶o̶w̶l̶y̶ g̶r̶o̶w̶i̶n̶g̶ o̶n̶ h̶i̶s̶ a̶r̶m̶ t̶h̶e̶ l̶o̶n̶g̶e̶r̶ h̶e̶ h̶e̶l̶d̶ i̶t̶)̶ he turned around when he heard twigs snap from down the hill on which he was buried and saw....

𝘈 𝘱𝘪𝘨.....

A beautifuly delicious looking pig... (His mouth got all water-y) He could feel his stomach 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜... He lunched down at the still alive pig before he could even think and comprehend it. He dug his right claw in the pigs stomach and damaged multiple organs with that, and as dark blood flowed from the wound, he knew he must of have hit the liver. He tears his claw out of the pigs stomach in a way it cuts open the whole stomach of the pig and the damaged organs start to fall out of the pig.... The oh 𝘴𝘰 delicious looking organs.... He leaned down and took the organs and shoved the organs in his mouth and ate them way faster then one can look..... Literally.... It was faster then the eye of 𝘢𝘯𝘺 creature can register.... He then turned his head w a snap and looked at the rest of the pigs body before lunching at it and shoving it in his mouth untill he devoured the rest of the pig untill all there was left were the bones, and even then he ate a few bones...., tho those didn't taste as good as the rest of the pig, it tastes too dry and sour.... Plus it had a texture as if biting into sand once you chewed it... Ew.. ,and bc of that he didn't continue with them...

When he finally came back to his senses, he was... Surprised? Shocked? horrified? Or rather a mix of those three, bc he had just eaten a whole pig- ok yeah he ate them before, as a human he ate the meat and as a vampire the blood of the pig was added on top of the meat on the diet list, but he never ate the organs or bones of one before.... He didn't know what to think of it... On one hand, it was disgusting and scary... But on the orther... It felt 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵, better then being a vamp and that says smth-!..... Right... Vampires.... 𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘰.... 𝙊𝙬𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙮𝙧𝙤.... he started walking In the direction of...the castle? The forest? the town? (He wasn't sure) when he noticed the lack of pain in his head, chest and stomach that were there a few minutes ago, as he looked down at himself he saw that it had healed, but...where it had healed his skin was black like Elle's right side... He got a bad feeling so he looked at his right arm and was 𝘏𝘖𝘙𝘙𝘐𝘍𝘐𝘌𝘋 to see the black on his hand had grown... It was over his elbow now alrd, and on top of it, it had developed a few spikes on his arm as well as that his arm was weirdly...bended?..., it was all so.... Spiky and... Unnatural... And that comes from an vampire-.. Ex vampire? Doesn't matter right now! he has to concentrate on the black on him..... He saw how Elle had looked, her right half looked similar to a demon or at least some kind of similar monster... He knows alrd that he looks a bit different, tho not too much, just slight additions to it.
He took a deep breath to not think about it rn, as he started walking again the sun was setting (it didn't seem like it though,bc he didn't see any difference).

--̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶

It had been a day since avid had died and Scott buried him. scott had visited his grave (excluding the moment he made it) one time alrd since he made a grave for avid. and as Scott walked trough the refreshing night air to visit avids grave again, he noticed a few injured Bunny's (wich is alrd HIGHLY suspicious on it's own) run away from the right side of where avids grave is, so he decided to check out if there's smth that way. He sees bones from multiple meters away, and once he got closer to them he notices that they're not normal....(ignoring the blood stain in the dirt) some of the bones are missing a part/half of it as if snapped right off. It's Especially suspicious now that almost no wildlife, and with that not many predators are around anymore, it's not impossible but near enough to it to be still suspicious. He started walking few steps again before he saw a wither rose laying on the ground decaying.... Now 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 smth that's not supposed to be here.... He jumps up that lil hill to avids grave, just to discover that it's been destroyed...there's a hole dug in the ground to reveal the coffin,and when you look at the coffin you can easily see that its broken (theres splinters EVERYWHERE in that coffin)....

....and.....

Scott is 𝙁𝙐𝙍𝙄𝙊𝙐𝙎!

First avid gets KILLED BY 𝘖𝘞𝘌𝘕 𝘈𝘕𝘋 𝘗𝘠𝘙𝘖, two ppl that should've made sure he is Alrd now that he had been on his lowest, And NOW someone 𝙍𝙊𝘽𝘽𝙀𝘿 𝙃𝙄𝙎 𝙂𝙍𝘼𝙑𝙀 that Scot made HIMSELF?!?! THERE WASN'T EVEN SMTH IN THERE EXCEPT HIS BODY!!!

Scott 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝙥𝙖𝙮!!

Hes fuming when he feels a sting in his eyes and blinks it away with a bit confusing as to why it stings when he notices a tear rolls down his cheek, a tear mixed out of anger and grief. it had been like ATLEAST a thousand years since he last cried even a tear...He quickly wipes it away before calming down to be able to fix his facade and with that keep his cool until he finds the culprit/s.

As Scott slowly walks back to the castle he doesn't notice the cracked twigs, the scratch marks in the trees nor the shoe prints on the grass bc of his rage. If he followed it he would've found avid but he didn't.

--̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶

In the Meanwhile avid is 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 more and more animals, the first thing he does to his prey is that he digs his claw in his pray somewhere (this time it's the neck), and (this time) lifts the cow up w his claw still in it's neck w only his right arm, blood flowing down it's neck, with his tongue avid licks the delicious blood off the cow, and 𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘴 the flesh out on it's back w only his now sharp teeth (as in knife sharp and above level and looks like when a kid draws monster teeth) and he then makes sure the cow is still alive even if not for much longer, it's just way more fun if his pray is still alive, once he bit out a hole in the cows back (not enough for it to die tho) he ramms his theet in the stomach of the cow and pulls w his teeth untill the stomach ripps open. He Then proceeds w his orther hand to grab the organs of the cow and then to devour them. Noticing the cow has alrd died so early and too easily he feels a lil disappointed that it didn't suffer longer..... But he shruggs it off as he eats the rest of the cow.

Barely 10 minutes later he has alrd devoured a whole pack of cows, pigs and some chicken looking snacks (tho the chicken really were just snacks unlike the cows which were full meal and pigs that are like a nice little meal). He feels just 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩, and-a..-and 𝙖𝙬𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 and he doesn't want to stop to eat more and more and more, he just doesn't want to stop.

He proceeded to looks for more animals for about 30 min but couldn't find any wild life bc those stupid fucking 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 (ew) burned down the forest and with that the home of the animals and now there's almost no animals left!! As he keeps searching and fuming about not finding anything he slowly comes back to his senses.

Once avid does come back to his senses he is.... He just doesn't know... He does like to eat and eat....but..... He shakes his head and turns around, as he walks around trying to gather his thoughts and opinions about everything, he comes across the lake with the tower with the beacon where he asked Shelby to turn him. He remembers it bittersweetly....he starts to walk towards it untill he looks around for who knows why and he glances at the water and sees his reflection.... He looks now just like Elle did in limbo if not worse.... His whole right side is now pitch black and with spikes and everything! He now has even pointier ears then when he was a vamp (though he didn't imagine it was possible) and he even has a horn! Just the only difference is that his horn looks different, his horn has cracks in it but its stable, plus it has a cool hole in the middle of it, just like a tree where at the start it's one stem, then it turns into two and grows to opposite sides and then a bit above it comes back together and grows back together. It actually looks sick! Tho it doesn't change the fact he's becoming... Smth.... Else.. Hes scared and-....

He turns around to the forest's direction as he Suddenly hears two voices from behind him.... He could recognize those god damned voices anywhere.... Those are the voices of his two killers, those are the voices of 𝙊𝙬𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙮𝙧𝙤.......two ppl he trusted and wanted to get on their good side and ment no harm to them who have 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙢! He looks at the forest line and sees them walking into the clearing talking to eachorther carrying wood. Pyro's turned w the face to Owen, owent who looks slightly annoyed at Pyro talking but doesn't say smth. As they walk more towards him Owen glances at the tower before Owen spots him and stops dead in his tracks looking horrified, probably bc avid should be dead. While Pyro looks confused as to why Owen stopped untill he turns towards avid...He lookes wholeheartedly 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥.

Chapter Text

It was.... A bit tense in the castle ever since he and owen killed avid.. But he was a liability! (And he was a bit jealous of him-) so who can blame them! nobody! So yeah, since its been a bit tense at the castle rn and the animal farms have been destroyed,he and owen went to get some wood for animal farm fences, they have been trying hard to get wood bc the stupid humans have burned down the beautiful forest. They had gathered about one and a half stacks of spruce wood and it had only taken them about 1 hour, they then went looking for some animals for the 𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘭 farm before they walked towards the lake beacon to maybe see if they can concencrate it. What they both didn't expect to see was 𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘥 (holy fuck how is he alive rn!?-) standing knee deep in the water and his mouth covered in blood.... (Not good!)Nor that avid looks like some sort of 𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 (NOT GOOD!!). So it's natural to assume that the both of them are 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 horrified/terrified at the moment, bc the person they 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥, just randomly 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 looking like a 𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 on his right side!

And that's how Pyro is feeling rn, 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥, hes terrified rn bc he can 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 see the anger and 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘵 in avids face and eyes..... He definitely wants revenge,thats clear as day (or night in pyros case)..... Pyro may be a (somewhat) immortal being that is very powerful, but if one of your victims comes back to the world of the living and is looking like a goddamned 𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯, you have a right to be afraid and to have the urge to 𝘳𝘶𝘯 as far away as possible,but since if he leaves Owen, hes dead for sure, so he doesn't leave, but Pyro has the right to assume that avid's here to kill them at least.

Owen was 𝘯𝘰𝘵 prepared for this shit to happen today... How can avid even be back?! He killed him for goodness sake!! He 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 it when avid died, he should be dead but he isn't!! Owen is also pretty sure from the look on avids face (omg he's back, wtf!?) alone that he wants to kill Owen (and TBF, Owen can't quite blame him for that). He 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 that Pyro is terrified without even looking at him that weakling... He's gonna get rid of him next...

--̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶

Oohhh..... 𝘖𝘩𝘩𝘩𝘩𝘩𝘩.... Avid is 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝙛𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 rn! He want to lounge at them and 𝘳𝘪𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘴! But he 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 that won't perma kill them... But... He can still do that as a temporary revenge, right? ... (𝔞𝔫𝔡 𝔥𝔢 *𝔰𝔥𝔬𝔲𝔩𝔡* 𝔡𝔬 𝔱𝔥𝔞𝔱, 𝔟𝔠 𝔴𝔥𝔶 𝔫𝔬𝔱?) So with that decided (in a matter of 10 sec) avid runs at them in an 𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘰𝘥𝘭𝘺 speed, one so fast Owen can barely dodge fast enough, Pyro doesn't get so lucky, As avid stabs him w his right claw he can smell 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 blood.... At that smell his mouth begins to water, which at the same time makes him go a bit more feral at that moment, since its pretty obvious, bc he smashes pyro's head into the ground multiple times (while also a smile starts forming on his face) and scratches his stomach as even more blood fills the air (and ground). Avid is so lost in his bloodlust that he doesn't even hear Pyro screaming and begging (𝔧𝔲𝔰𝔱 𝔩𝔦𝔨𝔢 𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔶 𝔡𝔦𝔡𝔫𝔱 𝔥𝔢𝔞𝔯 𝔥𝔦𝔰 𝔭𝔩𝔢𝔞𝔰𝔢) nor seeing Owen kick avid off pyro, and at that, avid 𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 in a such 𝘪𝘯𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘦 and some sort of demoniacal way that even the two 𝘷𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴 before him stop to get away to look at him, which, was a big mistake as he jumps at them and just 𝘴𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘴 Pyro to little bits in 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 15 sec... Owen makes a run for it and avid chases after him like a predator hunting it's pray (𝔬𝔥 𝔧𝔲𝔰𝔱 𝔩𝔬𝔬𝔨 𝔞𝔱 𝔥𝔬𝔴 𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔯𝔬𝔩𝔢𝔰 𝔥𝔞𝔳𝔢 𝔰𝔴𝔞𝔭𝔭𝔢𝔡). He follows Owen, even as the orther has turned into a bat he can keep up w him, but when Owen flew away into a lil hole only a bat can fit in, avid was 𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙙 ofc, avid "come out of your hiding you coward!!" .... Stupid asshole!

And just as avid is about to be able to gab Owen by the Wing, the orther has teleported to a beacon,prob the castle one........ Mf...

--̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶

As Owen teleported to the castle beacon, he sees pyro frantically enter the room.
Pyro "Owen! " the orther runs towards Owen in such a haste that it would've been strange if he didn't know what happened.. Pyro "Owen, I think we messed up big time by killing avid... ".

owen " and I can't believe I'm agreeing to 𝘺𝘰𝘶 of all ppl at the moment..... "

--̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶

Shelby doesn't want to go to the coven meeting...she just cant look at Owen and Pyro rn, not anymore, not after what they did to avid....but 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 called a coven meeting and they 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 call one, so she begrudgingly attands it. Once everyone had gathered there, they all noticed Pyro being nervous while Owen.... Well.. He seems like every orther day, but if you look closer you can see he's tense and looking slightly stressed.... Smths wrong.... She 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 it... She just does.... She looks over to drift and as she met her gaze she can see that drift is feeling the same about this rn...

And As she looked over to her roommate she can see that he's 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 pissed off, tho the orthers might not have noticed it yet, but he's her roommate, and she knows him...

Pyro didn't know how to say this, but he has waited long enough for everyone to gather, so Pyro doesn't waste anymore time waiting, Pyro "the reason me and Owen have called this meeting is bc when we were gathering wood we.... Came across.... ", Owen "avid... " you could hear hopefull gasps escape drift, Shelby and even a little bit scott. Pyro " y-yeah.. We came across him by the lake beacon and.... He... His right side looked as if he was a demon or smth!? "

Shelby "b-but you killed him?! We all felt it when you murdered him!" (you could see multiple nods coming from everyone) "and if that's true, I am ofc happy about it that avids alive, but how could he when he died!? "

Scott "I have to agree w Shelby, he shouldn't be back, and I'm also not saying I'm upset about it, but how is he supposed to be still alive when I saw his body, and how he had a stake in his heart. 𝘕𝘰 vampire can survive a steak trough the heart. And what do you mean his right side looked like a demon!?"

Owen "we don't know 𝘩𝘰𝘸 he's alive, all ik is that he is and that his right side looked like as if he were a demon.. "

Shelby didn't know rn... 'I mean... He told me about the scratch and saw it but... Could it really have been a demon scratch?..... No! It couldn't have been, right?...' She needs to stop thinking about that....

Cleo "if that is true what your saying... We have a biiiiig problem.. "

Drift "I just hope your right and avid is alive again" she looks at Cleo "and I don't think 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 will have to worry. I don't wanna sound mean or smth, but it were 𝘗𝘺𝘳𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘖𝘸𝘦𝘯 who killed him. "

Pyro "b-but! How can all of you be so calm and be ok with him coming back to life!? He is a risk! He attacked and killed me! "

Shelby "well, maybe it was karma for you perma killing him. "

Pyro "HIS MOUTH AND RIGHT CLAW WHERE COVERED IN BLOOD AND HE HAD A BLOODLUST LOOK!! HE IS A RISK!! "

Scott 'could it really be?.... His grave 𝘥𝘪𝘥 look as if someone digged 𝘰𝘶𝘵 of it instead of in.... But that would mean it was also him who ate that animal and even ate the bone...... '

Owen "I agree, avid is a risk. He was one before already but now that he's-.. Smth... He is an even greater risk that we cannot risk. "

Cleo "I also agree with them. It was a mistake for you to kill him the first time tho as we can see. "

Sausage (wow he's talking!) "Iiiimmm just gonna stay neutral in this.. " -_- '''

Scott "well, ill'd say we see how it goes first. Maybe he'll go against the humans and help us in that way, so DON'T do any rationale and impulsive decisions 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯... I end the coven meeting w that. "

Once Scott ended the meeting, he, drift and Shelby decided to go looking for avid to see if those two really said the truth and didn't lie or hallucinate it.

--̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶

Avid had left the lake and was walking into the woods now already for 5 min, and avid was mad at himself that he couldn't get Owen, but he was pleased with himself that he could at least get Pyro. He was so lost in thoughts that he didn't notice someone coming out from behind a tree (they didn't see him either, yet) untill he hears a sharp inhale of breath, avid turned around to where it was coming from just to see pearl there who looked shocked and horrified.

Pearl "AVID!?! WEREN'T YOU DEAD?! AND WHAT ARE YOU!? " he could smell the delicious smell of her flesh and blood and he's 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘺, but he 𝘤𝘢𝘯 (𝔟𝔲𝔱 𝔦𝔣 𝔥𝔢 𝔴𝔦𝔩𝔩 𝔦𝔰 𝔞 𝔡𝔦𝔣𝔣 𝔮𝔲𝔢𝔰𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫) controll himself (𝔣𝔬𝔯 𝔫𝔬𝔴), so he takes in a deep breath, avid "heeyyy pearl......so-" before he could continue tho, pearl took out her sword, pearl "avid.... Why are your mouth and right hand covert in blood..... " it was clear that she was ready to fight if it came down to it.
pearl "Avid... " . Avid "it were just some wild animals... Chill. ", that didn't seem to calm her down tho since she got a bit tense and got into a position in which she can easily attack. He walks a step closer (with no harmful intentions) and she swung her sword at him. He's hungry and been attacked, now he's gotta attack back

He launches at her (while slightly grinning) and swinging his right claw at her, she dodged... Huh.. She has good reaction time for a human.... From the position she dodged to, she attacks him but he also dodged her attack just like she did his. She then suddenly launches her sword into his shoulder and-..... It doesn't hurt much... Before she can pull the sword out of his shoulder, he grabs the sword by the blade, grib strong enough for her not to be able to pull it out of his gribb and to draw blood from his right hand, which the blood from it is.... A rather dark 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬 red. Pearl looks at him in terror as he kicks her off of him and pulls the sword out of his left shoulder, which, bleeds a normal shade of red if not maybe a few shades darker then normal (like 7℅). Avid knows that pearl is a smart one and that she'll try to run now, which, isnt quite to his liking, so he walks after her as she finally decided to run, and while following her he threw the sword away on the ground (but not before making it unusable). Pearl is fast, he can give her that much, but not faster then him, so to make the hunt a bit more fun, avid is chasing behind her and keeps on walking faster then her with smart thinking and she has to keep changing directions bc of him, but everytime he gets to close she somehow escapes right trought his fingers!

As he gets closer and closer to her when she is 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 cornered, he can hear a cracking sound before-....... He falls into some kind of old mines which are down pretty much, all decaying and ew... As he looks up he can see he's also fallen greatly, he has to climb up there to be able to hunt her... Darn... He climbed up fast but in that time she alrd escaped.... 𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘩

Avid has been eating another pack of pigs at the moment as he hears a few leaves crumble before looking up and seeing-....... Scott Shelby and drift..... Who look.... A mix of glad (that he's realy alive) and Horefied.... Well shit....

Drift is the first to say smth, drift "avid?... I-is that realy you?...... " as he nods he sees a few tears roll down her and Shelby's cheeks and a relieved look on Scot.... , drift
"Thank goodness! " , after she said that she goes to him and only a split second later Shelby joins the hug and they fall to the ground and the girls laughing , then suddenly he feels a hand on his shoulders, it's Scott's. Scott "well, it's nice to see your not realy dead, it would have been a shame if the only person who has shown me unconditional loyalty in the last 700 years to me would've been dead. " even though his words sound like his normal self, his eyes betray him, hes glad that avid is alive.

After a minute drift is the first to stop hugging him and as she looks up she sees all the bones, blood and even a pig which he was just about to eart but alrd dead (with it's organs falling out and everything) and as she sees that she looks back at him as if she was so happy to see him that she either forgot about his right side or didn't notice (which she prob did).

Drift "avid, what the hell are you...."

Drift "avid, what the hell are you...."

Avid knew it was inevitable.... But he still wished that nobody would've asked him, especially now that he's just got to see drift, Shelby and Scott again.... But like he said, it was inevitable. Avid "tbh, my guess is as good as yours, tho I think I'm turning into some sort of demon monster thingy..-ha haha-ha.... " (That awkward laughter of his) ᯣ-ᯣ'''

At that everyone looked a bit worried, tho they didn't really have a reason since he's ok rn- ok yeah he's a bit tired but orther wise he's fine. Avid "drift, Shelby I'm fine." He holds one of his hand up "see? I'm alive again, somehow..". Scott " I don't think your fine, just look behind you, you slaughtered a whole pig pack, and prob even more, since when I visited your grave I saw a blood stain on the ground and a few bones that looked as if someone has eaten a bit of it. The avid ik would've never eat 𝘣𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴. So let me ask you again. Are you really well. ". 'Damn... Hes not only handsome but also smart... (Not that he ever doubted it)' was what avid's thoughts were, avid "im-.. I'm fine, I mean I'm tired but thats bc I've been awake for a whole day now, so yeah, exept tiredness I'm fine. ". Scott sighed but didn't press further, not yet. And avid had to admit that Scott always looks gorgeous, especially now.... He just wanted to kiss him again.... But it wouldnt be fitting rn.

Scott " where do you even plan to stay?? The town will for sure not take you in, and I don't think you wanna come back to the castle rn since Pyro and owen are there, so what's your plan? ".
Avid ".... I haven't thought of that so far... ".
Scott " ofc you didn't.... " he sighs again.
Shelby "maybe we can build you a lil house for now?".
drift " sounds like a plan to me, what do you think avid? ".
avid " yeah sounds good for me. ".
shelby "ok, Ill get the wood, drift, could you get The stone? And avid and Scott, you two could work together to find.... What ever we need else? ".
Scott " and now I have to do manual labor? Urgh... Fine I guess... "

And just like that they went their ways to build a lil house for avid until they find a better solution. While Shelby and drift were doing their tasks, Scott and avid thought about what else they'll'd need to build a house, Scott "we should get some wool since you need a bed and it would only be fitting if you'll'd have a carpet. ".

And that's why their now looking for sheeps. As they walk Scott took out a bottle of blood and started drinking it, and wow, that made, one, himself hungry again, and two, make him notice Scott's beauty even more...
Avid " I think you look gorgeous rn Scott. ".
Scott blushed the tiniest bit before replying, Scott " now thank you dear", and oh, Scott calling him dear makes his now (somehow) beating heart beat even faster then before. (Info;his heart is beating again, but so slow that its almost not beating, when it speeds up it is still 𝘝𝘌𝘙𝘠 slow compared to a normal heart beating).

They have been searching for any sheep's for about 5 min now alrd when avid suddenly snaps his head in the left direction, and as Scott turns towards it too, at first he doesn't notice anything or anyone, untill he sees from afar a sheep... So avid's senses got also sharper, good to know..... And as Scott looked at avid, he saw how avid looked at it, he looks seconds away from ripping it to shredds-... What?? How fast is avid!? He was gone in (almost) the blink of an eye. And as he turned his head back to the sheep-.... They definitely won't have to colour it for the red carpet, since all that blood will do, but.. Wow... Avid is 𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 now...
But Ofc he looks good while doing it (especially If his mouth is covered in blood), thats just avid's natural beauty.

After...well....eating, he and avid continue looking for sheep. all in all they found 6 sheep's alrd when the sun was coming up again... Stupid sun...

Avid could 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘺 tell that the sun hurt Scott, and he just cant stand to see him suffer..... Avid didn't know what to do when he saw out of the corner of his eyes a little cave where the sun didn't reach them, perfect. Avid "hey Scott, how about we go into that cave over there? ", Scott " sure if that's where you wish to go next".

Once they were in the cave Scott seemed way more relaxed. Only once avid sat down on the nice stone floor did he notice just 𝘩𝘰𝘸 tired he was... 𝘠𝘢𝘸𝘯..... As he opened his eyes after the yawn, he saw Scott looking at him, avid "Mhm? Whats up? ", Scott " you seem tired... You should rest.. ". and ... Well Scott was right (ofc he was, he always is) he was tired. He looked up one last time to Scott before leaning against the wall and closing his eyes. After a few secs he feels a blanket on him, when he opened one eye he could see that it's Scott's cape.... Before he can even react, Scott sits down next to him, and well... With Scott here avid feels safe to sleep.

When Scott sat down next to avid and got Compftable he looked at avid who started dosing off alrd... He looks so pretty like this... Scott can't belive that avid is alive Again... But hes glad for it, After all, avid is the first to Show unconditionall love to him in about 700 years... When Scott looked at avid again he was almost asleep, hes cute Scott guesses. 'But what should they do now about this situation. Shelby was right, the humans won't take him, nor will he be safe at the castle tho neither would Owen and Pyro be, but he doesn't care for them anymore. What should-' he stopped thinking about what he was thinking when he felt a weight on his right shoulder, avid fell asleep and his head is resting on Scotts shoulder now.... He looks adorable like this.... Scott leanes down to him and gives him a kiss on the forehead before caressing his head.

When avid woke up he felt someone caressing his head, it felt nice.... No one had done that since Elle..... He really needs to get out of this place to see her again. She told him that she wasn't dead and that she'd awoken 3 days after he staked her, but when she sleeps she is in limbo for some reason, they were both not sure if that included her body or just her mind. He 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 to see her again.. He 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 see her again. He decided that he should get up, even though it was a nice feeling, he opened his eyes and needed to adjust his eyes for a second before he could see in the dark again, and when they did, he saw that 𝘚𝘤𝘰𝘵𝘵 was caressing his head... That stupidly handsome man.... But when he tilted his head, Scott stoped before looking at avid, smiling, and continuing to caressing his head. It was night again... Scott could've woken him up to get going, but he didn't.... Avid just loves that man..

It had been like fifteen minutes before dawn when pearl arrived back at the town gate-... Where the town gate should've been... She ran all the way over here and was exhausted now... But she 𝘩𝘢𝘥 to tell the others... So she called a town meeting... While waiting for everyone to arrive she tried to calm her nerves so that she wont accidentally turn into a half werewolf. (Info;werewolves only turn into a mix of human and wolf in the day, they can turn into real wolves at night, ( but if its like 30 min before dawn it won't really work that well) , and will need the urge to turn into a werewolf at full moon (tho some werewolves can't controll themselves on full moon and when a werewolf is cought having to transform into a wer, it was almost always those kind of werewolves,and that's how the myth with werewolves 𝘏𝘈𝘝𝘐𝘕𝘎 to turn at full moon was made))

The first to arrive was apo, the only vamp still on their side completely. Then ren and legs appeared and then last were Martyn and abolish. Once everyone was seated they started the meeting, Martyn "why did you call a town meeting pearl? ", pearl took a deep breath before answering " well, when I was walking around I got close to the region of the lake forest, where I stumbled across..... " another deep inhale "avid.. " as soon she said that everyone erupted in caos.

apo "he can't be, I 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘵 it when he died, theres no chance that he's alive! ".

Martyn "WHAT DO YOU MEAN!? I THOUGHT PYRO AND OWEN KILLED HIM!?" .

ren stayed silent, tho VERY shocked.

Legs "no one can come back from the dead. Theres no way he can do that, (wispering) ik that, I tried... "

Pearl "well, he did. And now he is some sort of demon thingy. " you could hear multiple sounds of confusion.

Abolish took a deep breath and calculated before speaking, abolish "I don't know if what your talkin about is true, but if it is, I may have a theory. He turned into a vamp bc he was sick and turning into smth else, right?" Everyone nodded, abolish "right, so what if bc Owen and Pyro killed him, what ever he turned into got the chance to make him whatever he is now since he was dead, no longer a vampire, so the vampirism couldn't hold it back anymore and whatever he turned into revived him w that. How does that sound? "

Everyone there thought about it before they all agreed that that must've been what happened, or at least close to it. But now what should they do?

App "if avid is really alive again, and he's some sort of demon, do you think hes more humane then as a vampire, pearl."

Pearl immediately answered "he's definitely worse now. When I bumbed into him I'm the woods his mouth and right hand were covered in blood. Then when I drew my sword not going to do anything, he walked towards me to attack me so I attacked him, he then fought against me and I stabed him in the shoulder w my sword and he just took it out w his hand and then chased me, if it wouldn't have been for that ancient ground that broke under avid, I would be dead now for sure. "

No one knew what to say about what happened. So they didn't. Instead Martyn spoke up, Martyn "in that case we need to prepare, we need to gear up even more to survive against them now. Do you think that the castle vamps work w him alrd or even will work w him? "

Pearl shook her head "no, no I don't know. But your right, we need to be more careful and prepare. "

Legs "I'll make more soup and make sure that we got enough things to get patched up. "

Pearl "and I'll obviously will do mining"

Martyn "I'll look for more tooms, does anybody want to go w me? "

Abolish " I'll go"

Ren "me too young lad"

Apo "and I'm going to go see if I can find anything out. Good luck everyone. "

And just like that everyone (exept Martyn abolish and Ren) went separate ways to prepare, and just like that the meeting ended.

Scott continued caressing avid's head, even while the orther was awake, it was nice rn. As avid sat up instead of his head laying on Scotts lap, Scott saw the blood still covering his mouth (its dried), so ofc he took out a hand chief and started cleaning avid's face like a little child,avid even pouted like one.... Adorable, just adorable.

They have been waiting for those two now for like 14 h alrd! They both understood the first 11 h, since the sun was up, they both stayed under the tree line in the shade as well, so they asummed that that's just what also happened w them, but it's been dark for 3 hours alrd!

Shelby "are they even gonna come back at this point or what?! Like come on! Did they forget us or what?! "

Drift "I'm not sure, but I think they should hurry up whatever their doing. "

Shelby "yeah. Btw, did you know that Scott likes avid back? "

Drift "huh? I didn't know that, maybe that's why their taking so long " (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

Shelby inhales loudly and dramatically, Shelby "YES! I guess then I would forgive them, maybe I could even write fanfic about them? Eeeehhhhk! "

Sausage knew that he was still new to all this vampire stuff, but he thinks that that's not how you fill a bottle of blood, tho it may be bc avid is alive again that Pyro is just too nervous to fill a bottle without the bottle melting and turning into a glowing blue liquid that was colder then ice, bc, to be fair, if he killed someone and they came back as a demon creature he would be shitting himself.

As sausage walked around the castle he saw Cleo sitting on the bridge looking up towards the for not long anymore night sky (it's like 5:40 rn), so he walked over to her. Sausage "hey Cleo, how are you doing? ".
Cleo " I'm alrd, I was just thinking a bit... ".
sausage " if I may ask, about what? ".
Cleo ".... Home... ".
sausage " oh, ok".
Ckeo "yeah, did you get any more ideas for your book or what ever your doing rn? ".
Sausage eyes spark up at that,
sausage "yes, yes I actually did get more ideas! Do you wanna hear them? "
Ckeo sighs "sure... I have nothing better to do... "

After talking to Cleo for 2 hours (bless her undead soul) he went into the castle where he saw Owen... He would rather Void him... Since.. YK he's Owen, and now that avid's back he seems to be even more on edge then he alrd was. So he just walked into a different room. Crisis averted (or however you write that word).

However, how did he find himself in this position you ask? It's just been a normal day in the life of the best author in the world when he came across a ruin, it was destiny for him to find it! He was chosen to find this. so when he entered the ruin be looked around and found some cool stuff, like those cool glowing vines, or these iron tools, so he decided that he should continue looking if he could find smth else. And while he was doing exactly that, he triped over some kind of loose blank in the floor, and once he got up and sat next to the blank and insepting it, he found out that it's actually a trapdoor! It was fate that he dripped!

As he went down the ladder, he could make out a whole system of hallways.

The hallways were all made out of cobblestone, boring... He decided to go to his right, and as he walked he found a nice chest, and when he opened it, he was SHOCKED to see it was filled w iron and gold bars, tonnes of emeralds, and 𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘴, so many diamonds.... This was his fate, bringing those goods back to the castle, he could alrd hear the orthers answers.

Sausage had looked in all the chests and found so much stuff, it was what he was destined to! It also only took 2h! And he Even found over half a stack of diamonds!

So when he Decided to leave he hadn't expected to step into a trap and for him to be hanging head down, and then shortly after being sorounded by multiple zombies, creepers and skeletons. While the skeletons shot at him, the zombies hit him with whatever they had at the moment. Even spiders joined in to torment him! The spiders crawled over him just so they could place their cobwebs over him and his clothes! The creepers always started to explode only to stop a second before the actual explosion, at some point even witches and Enderman joined the orthers in tormenting him!

So When he finally exited the ruin he was crushed, and to top it all of the sun was high up alrd, so it must've been around
9 am, he can deal with the sun tho. As he started walking back to the castle, he got a few more ideas for his book and his spirit returned, he needs to write them down as soon as he's back! He continued walking untill he suddenly remembers that he can just teleport to the castle beacon, so he does just that.

When he teleported to the castle, he put the things he found in a chest before swiftly writing the ideas he's gotten into his book as Cleo comes into the room. Sausage " Cleo, you will never believe what I found! "
Cleo "....." 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩 "what did you find... "
Sausage "I found many good things! I put them into that chest over there! ", Cleo walked over to the chest and seemed as if he had brought back some nice paper or smth instead of those treasures!
Cleo " nice, ok I gotta work on the animal farm now", as Cleo left without another word, sausage felt crushed, how could she not have complemented him on how much he had gotten!?

It had been 5 hours since 𝘩𝘦 returned, but whatever walk drift shelby and Scott went on, they hadn't returned of (as far as he knows), what are they doing?. So he starts looking for them in the castle to see if they 𝘥𝘪𝘥 return but he just hasn't noticed them yet, but nope, the only person he found was Pyro. Sausage "hey Pyro, have you by any chance seen Scott shelby and drift? Bc to my knowledge they haven't returned yet from their lil trip to wherever. "
Pyro "no, I did not see them, I wonder where they could've gone to tho. "
Sausage "ok, thx for trying tho, bye"
And with that he walked away, he felt a bit uneasy near pyro, since he had no problem just killing someone he didn't like...

While Cleo wandered around the castle, she noticed that those three (Scott shelby drift) haven't returned yet, and it was alrd 7pm! The sun was even setting now! Urgh

When Scott finally finished cleaning avid up, (it took longer then expected bc avid just didn't wanna sit still.. ..𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘩....but he loves him, doesn't he?..) He looked at sweet avid, Scott "yk, your quite adorable if I must say so", Scott can see that at that avid blushes slightly but he smiles brightly at him, avid "your realy gorgeous yourself" at that Scott thinks that he also slightly blushes-... Wha??, Scott needed a moment to realize what just happened, avid gave him another quick kiss on the lip, just like when they concencrated the beacon... Scott can feel himself blushing even more, he's a bit too caught off guard with that to say smth, but he can't help himself but to look at avid's bright smile, if he could, he would never look away from that smile... Its brighter then a thousand Suns... Thats for sure.. But it looks a thousand times more beautiful then the moon... He's so relieved that avid isn't dead anymore...

Avid though that Scott looked even more cute when he was blushing, maybe he should make him blush more often... Scott was adorable, he was so surprised that he couldn't even respond.... Cute... And once Scott was over the surprise, he smiled and chuckled lightly, Scott "wow, is that gonna be a thing your constantly gonna do? ", avid " maayybe, bc you look stunning while your blushing " avid smiled brightly at him again, and he could see the orther (orther? Is he even a vampire anymore?) Vampire's blush increase again before he cleared his throat and smiled, a warm, soft smile, not that evil or amused grin, no, a real and soft smile.... He loves that smile..., avid "your smile is really nice, you should smile wholeheartedly more often, it's gorgeous.." Avid could see Scott being so flustered that it was adorable.

Whats up with him, avid's so flirty today, and Scott didn't like it that he kept blushing hard, thats not like him at all, tho, maybe it is bc he hadn't lost avid for real, maybe bc he was scared to loose him again, bc he realized just 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 he liked him when avid died... He didn't know, all he does know is that he never wants to loose avid again, bc if he does loose his (not yet) lover again and has to built 𝘺𝘦𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦, hes gonna loose it.

Avid would love to spend more time in this cave with Scott alone, but he doesn't want drift and Shelby to wait any longer, avid "Scott, as much as I'll d like to make you blush more, we should get back to drift and shelby. They have been waiting long enough now." Scott nodded.

And when they both exited the cave and walked through the forest (or what's left of it), avid talked to Scott about whatever he could, which was just adorable, untill avid stopped walking and looking at a pig.... Not again.... Scott sigh was long... Bc he knew avid was hungry again now that he saw the pig, and it's going to be messy, and then Scott has to clean avid's face again... Urgh... When Scott closed his eyes for a moment he a heard running sound, so ofc he opened his eyes again to see avid launching at the pig...... Hes worried for avid... Even while being a vampire avid was never that bloodthirsty or wild.... They need to look for some sort of resolution... Bc... Scott does not wanna lose avid again, neither to death nor to avid himself...

He is currently ripping out the organs of the pig and devouring them when he sees a chicken walking around, but before he can do smth to it, Scott sank his teeth into it and started drinking it's blood, damn it...He wanted that chicken.... He focuses back on eating the pig, when he finished it and there were only bones left, he had alrd long forgotten about the chicken, as in that moment Scott sat down next to him and gave him the dead chicken, Scott "if you want you can eat the rest, I only drink the blood of it and sometimes the meat, so I didn't want the blood to be wasted by you slicing it up and everything. So here, if you want you can have it". avid stares at Scott, he loves that man... He even thought about him even while feeding.... He loves Scott so much..., avid " yea.. Thank you, your realy gorgeous as always.. " at that Scott chuckles lightly, Scott " and your as flirtatious as always". avid smiles slightly at him before taking the chicken and eating it (tho he did take off the feathers off first which Scott helped him with). Once avid was finished w eating the chicken, he and Scott started walking again and avid started talking again.

Avid "YK Scott, you really should eat the whole thing instead of just the blood and meat, since Ortherwhise your wasting good food, and I'm telling you, it all tastes 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴! Ik that the thought of eating organs is strange and disgusting at first, but it's really worth it! "

Scott "meh, I haven't tried it yet but I also don't realy want to, tho you have a point with the wasting part. It's just that dislike the idea of eating organs. "

Avid "aww come on! Pls! For me?... And every human thinks the same about drinking blood and eating raw meat and it's actually realy good, isn't it? ". Avid could see the conflict going on in Scotts head before Scott sighted, good.
Scott " fiinneee I'll try it it some day for you. Hope your happy now. "

Avid "YES! THANK YOU! Youll 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 it, I promise it to you! "
Scott "yea yeah... ", Scott chuckled a little at avid's enthusiasm tho.

After walking and walking they 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 arrived back were drift and Shelby were waiting for them...... And did Shelby look.....Exited?.... Not a good sign... While drift only looked slightly annoyed but also amused.... Oh boy... What had they been doing while they were away for them to not be really annoyed....

When Shelby finally said smth, it wasn't smth avid had expected to hear (but at the same time he kinda did, it was Shelby yk?). Shelby "sooo.... Did you do smth.... Romantic maybe?? " and while saying that Shelby giggled, just like drift.... Oh boy...

Scott "avid, would you consider what we did romantic? ", avid "a little...", and at that Shelby let out an ear bleeding screetch, "EEEEEEHHHHHHHKKKK!!!!", Shelby"IK IT!" And at that, avid just sat at the ground blushing and rethinking all his life decisions that led up to that point, while everyone around him laughed

As everyone (inc avid) laughed, everyone was happy at that moment, it was nice, just having to have fun instead of doing smth hard, even Scott chuckled a bit.

??? Wasn't sure what to do rn.. They haven't seen ¿¿¿ in two days now, they weren't sure if that meant that ¿¿¿ ### ###### ### ## ####, but they sure did hope that if ¿¿¿ did, that they were well and alive. But since ??? Was tired, they laid down to sleep.

When ??? Awoke, they started doing their normal routine, starting with doing the plants outside (* they watered the plants slower than usual, ¿¿¿ always teased them for talking to the plant.*) before going ahead and reading a bit (*they tried reading, But every line blurred into ¿¿¿'s gorgeous handwriting *). It had been 3 days since ??? Had seen ¿¿¿. They better be safe rn, or else ??? Would kill them ##### ### # ###### ####.

--̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶-̶

Avid was currently building the little base into the side of a lil hill (he was building alone BC the orther three went out to get more food, they wanted to stay w him but he reassured them he'll be fine, and after a lot of convincing they left to get food), a perfectly hidden base, tho the lil house is basically just a hole in the hill with walls and floor of wood plus a carpet and bed. While avid was building the secret base, the black on avid's right side started growing again... It started at his left hand this time, he grew claws while his skin was turning black (tho he didn't notice it), his right leg also turned black, going down to his feet and also turning them black. His hair also changed, from a white with gray-brown at the tip of his hair, to a blackish colour, it's smth strange, it's... Hard to describe it... The black on his face started growing too, once, it covered a bit less the his right side, now it covered 2/3 of his face, a second horn also started slowly growing while the horn he had before grew taller.

His hunger grew as well... Just as much as his anger towards 𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙮𝙧𝙤... 𝘏𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘢𝘥𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵... At even just the 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 of them he wants to make them 𝙨𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧! He wants to put a stake through their heart just like they did to him! The 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘥 to 𝙨𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧! And oh boy! Legs, apo and everyone else in the town had also betrayed him! Avid was so lost in thought that he didn't notice Scott drift and Shelby returning, but they noticed that smth was up w him tho, he was just standing there clenching his hands into fist and seemed angry.... Not to mention that the black on avid seemed to have spread..... Not good... Shelby was the first to move to her fledgling before the orther two also followed.

Shelby "a-avid? Are you ok?.... Is everything ok?...." no response.... Not good... Drift placed a hand on avid's shoulder when he hadn't answered, at that avid turned around looking ready to tear someone to shredds before seeing who was next to him and just looking as if he was annoyed that he didn't get to rip smth to shredds...

Shelby froze for a heartbeat. She’d seen Avid frustrated and annoyed before.but this? This wasn’t that, This was sharp. She exchanged a silent look with Scott and drift, concern flickering in both their eyes.

Drift "avid? Are you alrd? ", avid "yes, yes I'm fine. I was just a bit caught off guard." As avid talked it was colder then normally, not too much, but it for sure lacked some of the always present warmth it had in it. (Scott's heart ached at that...)
Scott "avid, you don't seem ok. And I really think we should talk about whats happening to you rn." At that avid rolled his eyes- he 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝙖𝙩 𝙎𝘾𝙊𝙏𝙏!? what The hell was going on?!

Scott felt his chest tighten at that...

Avid "not realy, no. I'm back alive and that is all that counts, isn't it?.." Scott wasn't sure how to respond, since, yes he was 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 glad that avid was alive, but on the orther hand, avid was turning into smth, and it's changing him, the avid he knew would 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 roll his eyes at him (̶a̶t̶ l̶e̶a̶s̶t̶ e̶v̶e̶r̶ s̶i̶n̶c̶e̶ a̶v̶i̶d̶ b̶e̶c̶a̶m̶e̶ p̶a̶r̶t̶ o̶f̶ t̶h̶e̶i̶r̶ c̶o̶v̶e̶n̶)̶. Shelby and drift both knew along Scott that smth was 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘭𝘺 wrong right now, shelby "avid.... We are all ofc glad that your alive again, dont get us wrong... But smth up with you and it has to do with whatever your turning into.... "

And oh boy! Avid couldn't help the chuckle that escaped him, avid "pfh-! Hahah! Wow! If that isn't fucking ironic! Isn't that similar to what I said to you shelby?" He looks at Shelby when he said the last part, avid "but back then it was reversed, I was a human not getting how great being a vampire is trying to convince you that vampires change someone beyond Recordnission, while you, a vampire alrd realised how good it feels being a vampire and that your still the same person that you were before. And now look at how the roles switched!" Avid continued chuckling, sounding a bit like a mad man.

Shelby flinched at the laughter, it was too manic, too sharp, too unlike Avid, his smile didn’t reach his eyes. (Scott felt his throat tighten). Drift looked cautiously at avid.

Scott "yes, but the difference is that Shelby didn't violently and cruelly kill animals, nor did she sound like a mad man. Unlike you rn...... And-... I.. " Scott takes in a deep breath before continuing "I just don't want to lose you to yourself.... " Scott said that a little bit quiter then the rest but still audible. And at that avid just looked between understanding and ignorance. Avid "yeah, and I get that. But I'm myself, cant you see?. And I'm not a mad man" even though avid's words were not mean nor were they nice either, (and so was also his tone.) They neither were to comfort Scott, but instead just stating smth to his defense....

Shelby stepped back a little, her shoulders trembling. She wasn’t scared 𝘰𝘧 Avid—but she was scared 𝘧𝘰𝘳 him. She exchanged a look with Drift, silently asking what they should do. Drift’s jaw tightened, eyes flicking between Avid and shelby. Drift didn’t say it aloud, but her expression screamed 'This is bad.'

The town has been quiter then usual ever since avid supposedly returned from the dead - which by the way was impossible. - but somehow it was also more chaotic then normally. Legs doesn't know how to react anymore... So much has happened in the last few weeks.... It was tiring....

While he had been looking for supplies the last one and a half days, he had found a Concerningly sudden increase of bones and blood in the forest..... He isn't sure what's happening to avid rn, he just doesn't get it! He had tried researching it to find out 𝘴𝘮𝘵𝘩 about it, but no, there was 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨! He isn't sure if he can save avid from whatever is happening to him at the moment... 𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 person he failed to save, to protect.... Tho... He didn't really have a say in the whole not able to save avid thing, did he?, since he 𝘥𝘪𝘥 try to Perma kill avid at the lake.....

He felt guilty....again... He closed his eyes to calm down. His mind slipped to the first time he had met Avid, back when everything had been simpler. The laugh, the energy, the warmth, even though avid was paranoid back then (reasonable so) and he and avid both had some arguments, it was simple and nice.
but... Now all of it felt like a memory under water, a shiver ran down his spine.

Apo was scared... She has always been scared, she had been scared back then when she was send a letter that said she'll'd have to go to the battlefield, she had been scared when when she arrived in Oakhurst, she was scared when she went w Owen to the crypt beacon, she was scared when she fought Scott, she was scared when she told Martyn that she was a vampire, she was scared when she went undercover in the castle.... And she's scared rn BC avid came back from the 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘥..... She just wanted to leave and see cherri.... She wants to hug her, she wants to kiss her again, she wants to hold her again... She just wants to get back to her lover.... Back to Cherri....

But she couldn't... At least not yet, since those stupid beacons trapped them in Oakhurst and the surrounding area.... She 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘴 that she had never gone to the military.... 𝘍𝘜𝘊𝘒! and now she's crying! Great, just 𝘎𝘙𝘌𝘈𝘛!! ..... she was 𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙...

Apo’s chest heaved with rapid, uneven breaths (even though she didn't need them anymore, they still helped calm down tho) as she gripped her coat, her vision blurred with tears which she refused to let fall. Every plan she had ever made, every strategy to survive, now felt irrelevant. All that mattered was Cherri, and the desperate need to see her again...

apo sank to the floor, pulling her knees up to her chest. The room felt too small, the walls too close. “I just want to go home…” she whispered. “I want Cherri… I want… I want things to stop getting worse…” Her voice cracked into a sob. She pressed her forehead against her knees, letting the fear shake through her.

Avid stared coldly at them rn, Scott Shelby and drift couldn't quite get it, when they left, avid was still more or less himself, but now?..... The three of them just didn't know anymore, avid was one of Shelby's best friends.... But to Scott avid was (not yet) his lover.... They both like each orther... Drift was avids other best friend and roommate....But... Why must it have been avid who got killed, why must avid have been turned into... This!... Couldn't the four of them just be happy together?!.... Everything was better when they just arrived in Oakhurst.... They all were more or less happy....

He cannot believe them rn!

He is mad at them, but he tries to keep at least 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 of his cool, but only bc they never betrayed him before, atleast 𝘺𝘦𝘵. He could never know, he didn't think that 𝙋𝙮𝙧𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙊𝙬𝙚𝙣 would 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘪𝘮 untill they 𝘥𝘪𝘥! So yeah, he could say his trust was a 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘱, Avid is sure tho that he'll get revenge. He'll make sure of that...

As avid looked at scott, Shelby and drift's faces, he could see the concern layed all over their faces.... Why did they worry?!? He was fine! (̶n̶o̶t̶ r̶e̶a̶l̶y̶,̶ w̶a̶s̶ h̶e̶?̶.̶.̶.̶)̶.
Avid "I'm fine! Srsly, whats your problem!?", avid began to snap at them, he was just 𝘰𝘩𝘩 𝘴𝘰 𝙝𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙮 and 𝙢𝙖𝙙 𝙖𝙩 𝙊𝙬𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙮𝙧𝙤...... He couldn't help it (𝔞𝔫𝔡 𝔥𝔢 𝔰𝔥𝔬𝔲𝔩𝔡𝔫'𝔱, 𝔫𝔬𝔴 𝔰𝔥𝔬𝔲𝔩𝔡 𝔥𝔢?). Scott "your 𝘯𝘰𝘵 fine. It's as obvious as how it's obvious that I like blood. And our 'problem' is that your not yourself rn.", drift " yeah.. We worry about you... ", Shelby " I just don't get it, earlier you were fine, then it started spreading and now your not yourself anymore!!", Shelby ran a tear down her cheek before wiping it away with her sleeve. Avid "YK what?! If y'all are so desperate to worry about me, then I'll just leave." And with that, he left.

As avid walked trough the Forrest, he heard twigs snapp and turned around to see what unfortunate animal would die tonight, and as he did, he saw ren. He would have a nice meal tonight huh?.. He could see the moment ren noticed him, since ren's eyes widened and he looked terrified. And 𝘰𝘩𝘩𝘩𝘩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 made him 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘺... As Ren was still processing the fact that avid was there in front of him, looking like a demon, avid 𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥... En could at the last nano second put up his shield to not get killed immediately.... Huh... Guess that'll make it even more amusing killing him!!!

As Ren took out his sword he made the mistake of not gripping his shield strong enough.. And as avid saw the opportunity, he took it... He clawed right at his shield, which then fell to the ground, now he couldn't use that damned shield to block him anymore at least. When Ren lost his shield, he grabbed his sword extra tight to make sure that that didn't also fell down.

As avid made his move to attack, Ren stumble-dodged to his right, then immediately he slashed the sword at avid's torso in hope of wounding him, but to his horror, avid healed right back up, as if that was paint being washed off instead of a fatal-deep wound that should of killed him, or at least wound him enough to stopp for a bit.....

Avid uses that short moment absolute and deep terror that Ren had to attack him and with that cut off his left arm. Ren let out a bone deep scream at that, but avid could care less about that, he just wanted 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥... And now he just had to Finish him of and then he could-....

Apo "I HEARD SCREAMING IS EVERYTHING OK-....." ....... Apo "avid......Wtf.... " as she looked at avid, avid's only thought was that it was highly unconvince for him that someone had heard the scream and came to help (if only someone ever came to help 𝘩𝘪𝘮 when 𝘩𝘦 was being 𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥...) . Apo "what are you doing!?!", avid "It's none of ya Goddamn business!" Said avid as he attacks apo, she dodged to the side and then jumps up a tree as to not get killed. And since avid isn't going to let both get away, he'll at least kill Ren, after he looks at apo once, be turns around again and lifts Ren by his shirt collar and slices his throat open. Making Ren slowly drown in his own blood.

Apo watches in ever growing horror as Ren is drowning in his own blood.... It's a truly horrible sight to see... And as avid turns around, he can only see apo turning into a bar and fleeing... Hes too bored to chase after her.

Scott wasn’t sure what he should do when Avid left, whether or not to go after him, stop him from walking away or not. He just doesn’t 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 how to react the best (or even how to react at all), since he hadn't felt this much raw emotion in like - if you don't count those 600 years he was asleep - the last 170 years, and even then, it hadn’t been this intense.....And It's all owen and pyros fault, they betrayed the coven!....Scott clenched his hands into fists, knuckles whitening even more then they normally are. 'It's 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘶𝘭𝘵 that avid is like that...' he muttered, voice tinted with rage.

He reminds himself of the promise he had made to Avid (even tho it was at the edge of his grave and not to avid himself, but that doesn't matter, it's still a promise). He was gonna kill them for avid, but first tho, he needed to help Avid.

“Okay… let’s make a plan to help Avid,” Scott said finally, his voice steadying. Both Shelby and Drift nodded, determination in their eyes.
“But how?” Drift asked, brow furrowed. Drift “We don’t even really know 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 he is anymore.....” Shelby crossed her arms, concern etched across her face.
Shelby “Yeah… what can we even do to help him?....” Scott took a deep breath, jaw set tight. Scott “We’ll figure it out.. We can’t lose him again....”

Apo was 𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 (though technically flying, but that didn’t sound nearly as dramatic)...
..She 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘥 to tell everyone about what happened..... She saw avid kill ren!! He was spiraling out of control! It was just past midnight when she arrived at the town, heart pounding (if it would still beat), breath ragged.. She called for an emergency town meeting as fast as possible...

Martyn was the first to arrive since he had been at his house when she called the meeting. Martyn "apo?! Whats wrong?! Why'd you call a meeting?? ", Apo "I'll say it once everyone is here." She replied, voice trembling. Martyn gave a hesitant nod before leaning against the wall.

they waited untill everyone was there.“Okay… since everyone is here, I’ll begin-”she was interrupted by legs,
legs "wait, but ren is missing?.... "

Apo froze. Her hands shook. apo ".........." She was nervous "th-.. Thats why I called this meeting.... I-.. I saw avid kill ren.... " Multiple horrified gasps echoed throughout the room, glances bouncing from person to person. A heavy silence fell before Martyn spoke up, Martyn "what do you mean avid killed ren!?" Apo swallowed hard. App “I mean… I saw them fight. Avid had cut off Ren’s arm when I arrived, attacked me, and then… he slit Ren’s throat, making him drown in his own blood. I-I… I can’t even describe it…” Her voice cracked. She Shuddered at the memory of blood and violence, twisting her stomach. she never liked blood but that was a bit too much... She was shaking, it was a bit different if it was an animal or a human....

Martyn’s face darkened. “I agree. We have to stop him before the rest of us end up dead like Ren—”

End up dead?..... No.. S-... She couldn't... She needs to get back to cherri tho! ... as she was spiraling she couldn't hear the others, she could only hear the ringing in her ears, she didn't hear what Martyn said after, she couldn't stop panicking, she couldn't stop thinking of the need to see cherri again.. Avid was bored again, he had alrd eaten ren's corpse, and WOW, humans tasted FAR better then animals, but he doubts he can have an as easy meal like ren again, since everyone else seems to be actually good at combat (exept maybe Martyn, but he had that annoying fire power).

he decided that he needs to atleast get things that can 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘷𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴 (for owen and pyro and maybe sausage and Cleo, who knows), so he sat down and started carved some wood, making a stake out of it with that, sharp enough to pierce leather armor. he also wanted to test out if he has anything new now, since he became some sort of demon, like new abilities or whatever.

so to test it out he looked for a animal, and once he found one, he tried anything to see if smth happens, and to avid's delight, smth 𝘥𝘪𝘥 happen. Avid found out that if he wants to, his blood is like the highest stage of the wither effect, that means it can kill 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨, even 𝘷𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴.. So with that in mind, he experimented with different attacks and new techniques to test his limits, each strike, each cut a calculation, each experiment a step towards revenge. His delight only grew as he realized the full extent of his abilities. He made out of his blood a throwable wither effect potions(poison), he also dipped the tip of the stake he made earlier into some of his blood, ensuring that even if the stake 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯'𝘵 hit the heart, a glancing blow would be fatal, poisoning them untill they die......

He's ready for revenge....

Pyro was working on finding a few more animals when a shiver ran down his spine. He has a bad feeling... A 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 bad one.... He couldn’t shake the feeling Something was wrong. He kept moving, but the dread only grew heavier, suffocating.

Owen, meanwhile, was planting a few tree seeds to get a few trees in a few hundred years when the same eerie sensation hit him. But he could care less About that, louis is gone, so he doesn't 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 if he's gonna be dead too. He had avenged Louise, so he doesn't realy have any reason to be afraid of death, if death is waiting to come collect him after all this time that he was overdue, then he won't have a problem with it. But the feeling was unsettling nonetheless.

Sausage was walking through the forest in hope of finding more animals to either breed or eat when he heard a cracking sound from a bit further into the forest made him pauseso ofc, like the idiot he was, he went to look what it was.

What he saw was just 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨... He saw 𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘥 making stakes...and as if that wasn't bad enough alrd, avid was 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 with them in the arm, avid also looked... Not like himself anymore... (His white (once gray-brown) hair was turning black (but not 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 black, but it looked like the void, or something orther worldly (and that comes from a vampire)) at the top of his head. His complete right side was also black, but not in that void like way, but more in a way that looks like as if someone painted it with black paint/nail polish (bc it had slight cracks at the part of the skin where you move), those cracks didn't look like there was skin under tho, no, it looked like the void on his hair, but it looks as if that void was flowing out of the cracks (but it didn't drop). His left side was also slowly turning black, on his left hand it is like 3-4 centimeters over the wrist and going upwards, while on his left leg the black spreads from upwards down (half of his leg is black alrd). He can't see his face yet since avid stands with his back to him.) He just didn't look like he once did, no, that thing was not avid anymore... Sausage was sure of that.

As he wanted to back off again to go away, he stepped on a twig...Avid heard it..
Avid turned around 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘢 𝘷𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘦.... He was done for, wasn't he?...

Panic seized Sausage. Sausage 𝘳𝘢𝘯. He ran faster then he ever had before. He couldn't die yet, he still had so much to write about! He ran through the woods, as fast as he could, but when he turned his head to look behind him, he saw avid getting 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘳 and 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘳... Why does sausage have a feeling that avid isn't even running as fast as he could.... 𝘎𝘶𝘭𝘱... He ran and ran and 𝘳𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝙧𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙖𝙣... He didn't even know which direction he was running to, he just needed to 𝘳𝘶𝘯 as fast as possible (he didn't think of turning into a bat, he was too panicked for that..) So that he can get away and live. Sausage's mind raced, he had to think fast, He took a sharp turn left to 𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 get ahead of avid, ahead of the predetor chasing him, when he ran straight into a dead end... I-it fine! H-he can j-just.... Hes done for.....

He slowly turned around and looked at avid.... Who had a stake out.... This was his end.... Sausage took a step back, and another, untill he hit the wall. He didn't want to die, he still had so much to do....

Avid was walking towards him, with a creepy smile... And he still had that stake in his hand, the blood was still dripping from it (tho it should have dried by now...but avid is a monster now, so ofc even his blood would behaves strange....). He is not strong enough to fight avid, he knew that much.....

He felt so much pain, he couldn't speak anymore since avid drove his arm down his throat (like full on past wrist deep) and started 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘷𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵....

He would rather die then having to endure this hell...

Avid always loved trying out new methods to kill pray! Even better if the pray won't realy die, so he can continue trying out a few things that normally wouldn't work! Avid was tearing sausages vocal cords out, and wow, they are tighter and harder to rip out then he thought, but for him it's no real problem.

Sausages vocal cords are strangely pale, not that he ever tore out a human vocal cord, he ripped out those from animals and they were a warmer color, but maybe it was bc he was a vampire and not human? Meh who cares, will still taste good.

Now that sausage can't talk - and can't scream for help - anymore, avid will make sure to not let him die easy.

He started again by clawing at his arm, ofc, it fought back, annoying thing. He scratched open the stomach (that was actively trying to knit itself together again, but wasn't fast enough to keep up with avid cutting it) from sausage, just to be extra mean, he kicked dirt into it before stomping onto his stomach with (he has knee high boots which have heels, that he got together with the outfit from one of the tombs from Scotts castle) his right foot, putting so much pressure on it that he makes a hole into sausages stomach. Mhmm, yk, it's quite amusing seeing sausage try to scream, just for no sound to come out.

Avid was enjoying this all. He could do this all day, but he 𝘸𝘢𝘴 hungry, so he will have to end it a tid earlier then he would like to, but there's still plenty time left to hurt his pray. So with that he moved to hit sausage, just for that author to grab his arm (squinting his eyes shut, not looking at avid, as if not even realising that he's doing it. Complete out of reflex) so hard that avid 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 a snapping sound... Ofc it was hurting, but he's experienced worse.

Sausage was cautiously opening one eye just to (no idea how) get even paler then before once he sees what he's doing. Ofc, he's not taking his hand back or some orther stupid shit, no, he looks like smth that forget it was a predator instead of pray (which was exactly what happened) and just realized it again, like something that remembered it's strength, remembered it's not weak. Sausage looked with every second less scared and more brave. Sadly, avid 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 if he broke his bone into multiple dozen pieces.

Bc, ofc he wasn't the pray here, avid was the predator, not sausage. He lifted his left foot and kicked him in the face, making sausage fall (even more) to the floor, before he holds up his arm (which is bend in a 70 degree outward) and repairing it steadily, first it snaps into place and then any indicator that he was ever hurt was gone.

And to avid's amusement, sausage looked 𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙.... Not that he blames him, but it's amusing. The next thing avid did was smth simple. He clawed off the right arm. Bc like, why not? His stomach growled, so he decided that he had played enough with his food and was ready to eat.

He grabbed the stake he had thrown to the side earlier and picked it up, looking at it to see if theres still enough of his blood on it to kill his pray, and from the looks of it, it was.

Sausage was scared of death... He was 𝘰𝘩 𝘴𝘰 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 of death, but he also couldn't handle the suffering. But just bc he wanted the pain to stop, didn't mean he didn't panick once avid picked up the stake again..

He doesn't wanna die...

Right then and there he got an idea..

Avid was about to plunge the stake at sausage when the man in question turned In desperation into a bat and started flying, huh... Did he really think he could get away?... From 𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘥?.... Avid felt a mix of fury and amusement at that. But he was hungry, so he jumped against a tree and bounced of it and swang his claws at him, hitting one of the wings, destroying it.

Once the bat was on the ground again and back to its human form, avid didn't waste a 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 and put a stake in it's heart.

Avid began to feed, unbothered by the slight eeriness that tingled at the edges of his mind.

Every vampire suddenly got a hallow and eerie shiver crawl up their spine....

a chorus of "yeah... /yup/mhmh/yes../pretty much" followed, overlapping as everyone spoke at once in the castle.

Cleo folded her arms tightly. her voice cut through the mumbling, sharp and bitter. Cleo “Since Sausage isn’t here… I’d say it hit him. Guess he’ll never finish his book.”

Shelby’s face tightened "not Mr m.. '' She stopped, sighed hard and rubbed her temples ''do we know 𝘩𝘰𝘸 he died.. "

Pyro "how shou-" Shelby’s voice cut like ice. Shelby " I didn't ask you."

Pyro froze, mouth snapping shut so fast you could practically hear the click of his teeth, And stared at the floor.

Owen glanced sideways at him but didn’t comment, he would never intervene, just so that Pyro suffers.

a beat of silence followed, as a couple of the others exchanged looks, a tense silence settled over the group.

Drift shifted slightly on her feet as if trying to move out of its weight. Cleo stepped closer to her.

Cleo muttered to Drift under her breath. "I bet next week the coven will be fighting one another at the pace we're going rn.”

Drift huffed a humorless laugh. “Feels like it. I’m starting to think the next meeting should come with helmets.”

Shelby, still fuming, glared in Pyro’s direction but didn’t speak again. Pyro stayed silent

Scott sighed deeply as the tension reached its peak.

Drift turned to him properly this time. “Scott… is the meeting over now?” Her tone wasn’t impatient, just exhausted.

Scott exhaled heavily and ran a hand down his face. Scott “Yes. We’re done here.”

Owen muttered “Of course 𝘩𝘦 ends the meeting…” under his breath, barely audible,

His voice echoed faintly against the stone

The others exchanged uneasy glances, but slowly filed out, still muttering among themselves.

Meanwhile, Apo was walking through her house, pausing mid-step when she got a eerie and (slight) hollow feeling washing over her and creping into her chest, unmistakably one of the vampires had died. But… why eerie? Why is she feeling eerie?...she hadn’t felt it when Avid had died.....

She dragged a hand down her face, bc she really, really didn’t want to call yet 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 meeting today....
