Heavenly Visit

Summary:

During one of Gina’s visits, she reunites with an old friend and made some new friends from heaven.

Notes:

Thanks go to my good friend ParkRyder for her help. ^^

Ever since Abel appeared, I wanted to do a story where Gina meets him. ^^

I think he would be like a big brother to her ❤️❤️❤️
And I wanted her to see heaven again despite what Adam did last time.
Plus I decided to add that he died while Gina went home at the end of my “Human at the Hazbin Hotel” story.

And he’ll be keeping an eye on her from now on and same with Peter and Emily ^^
They’re like her guardian angels now ^^

Enjoy!

Work Text:

After school one day, Gina decided to visit the hotel to get a little bit of tutoring from Sir Pentious. Angel went to work at Ozzie’s for the day but Gina was okay with it and texted him a few times.

“Thanks for your help, Pentious.” Gina smiled as she opened her book, “This week’s science lesson is a little harder than I expected.”

“Of course, dear!” Sir Pentious said as he sets some tea and cookies on the table, “I’m more than happy to assist my dearest friend.”

They spent a half an hour studying and working on the assignments, which weren’t very hard at all.
After taking a break, they saw Charlie and Lucifer rushed into the lounge with both anxious and determined expressions.

“What’s up with them?” She asked.

“Apparently, a couple angels are coming to the hotel for a meeting.” Husk said as he came in.

“Angels? From Heaven?”

“Yep. They’ve been trying to appeal about Charlie’s hotel a bit more but the higher up angels are stubborn about it.”

Gina remembers her experience in heaven and while she still loved it, she didn’t like how that a couple angels treated her because of her love for her demon friends.

“Think we could join them?” Gina tugged Sir Pentious sleeve.

“I don’t see why not.” Sir Pentious said, “What do you think, Husk?”

“Eh, I don’t think Charlie and her dad will mind,” Husk shrugged.

They went to the lounge where Charlie and Lucifer were, and when the portal opened, out came three angels; one of them being Emily and the other two Gina never met before.

“Welcome to Hell!” Lucifer greeted with a smile.

“Hello everyone!” Charlie did the same.

Emily was the first to hug Charlie and she happily accepted it.

“Thanks for inviting us, Charlie,” she said gratefully.

“It’s no problem. I’m glad Sera allowed this.”

Then, Sir Pentious slithered up to the group and tipped his hat to them.

“It’s so good to see all of you again.” He said softly.

“Pentious!” The three angels smiled.

They immediately embraced their friend and were glad to see him again.

“How you been?” The one named Peter asked, “We missed you!”

“You doing okay? It’s been so long!” The one named Abel said.

“Guys guys, I’m fine!” The snake demon reassured them, “It’s wonderful to reunite with you three again.”

“Us too, Pentious.” Emily nodded happily, “I’m glad to see that you’re doing well.”

“Thank you.”

Then, the female angel looked over and saw Gina standing beside the others.

“Gina!” Emily smiled wide.

“Emily!” Gina did the same.

She opened her arms as the small girl ran up and embraced her in a big hug.

“Mmm! I missed you so much!” She said as she squeezed Gina tight.

“Me too! I’m so glad that you’re okay! I haven’t seen you since… you know.”

“I know but I’m still happy to see you again.”

Abel and Peter were curious about the little girl and that’s when Emily decided to introduce her.

“Guys, this is Gina!” Emily said excitedly, “She the little girl I told you about!”

“Oh my goodness!”

Abel’s eyes sparkled as he picked up the girl and held her close to get a good look at her.

“So you’re little Gina! Emily told me so much about you!” Abel said with a big smile on his face, “You are so much cuter in person!”

“Yes she is!” Peter patted her head, “She’s so adorable!”

Gina couldn’t help but smile more as the angels fawned over her. Then, Abel frowned as he sets the girl down before kneeling into her level.

“Hey listen. I’m glad I finally got to see you because I really want to apologize.”

“Hm? What for?” She asked.

“Well…” he looked away from a moment, “My dad treated you so badly when you came to visit Heaven last time. I was busy but when I heard about it, I was horrified. I promised myself that if I ever met you, I would apologize as soon as I could.”

Gina remembered her encounter with Adam and forgot that she heard that he had sons. But, she didn’t sense any hostility or cruelty from Abel and knew that he was much nicer than his father.

She took his hands and said, “It’s okay. You shouldn’t have to apologize for what your dad did. I can tell that you’re really nice and you’re nothing like him.”

“Still, I felt bad for what he did and honestly? I don’t really miss him.”

Gina recalled hearing that when she went back home after staying at the hotel for a long time, Adam issued an attack onto Charlie and her friends for a second extermination attempt.
However, Lucifer got involved and got the upper hand, and just when Adam was trying to get back up, Niffty stabbed him multiple times with an angelic blade.

When Gina came back to the hotel, Niffty immediately told her that “I killed Adam! Hehehehe!”
She asked if it was true, and Lucifer filled her in on the details. Gina felt shocked when she heard that but in a way, she felt that Adam had it coming after all he had done.

“It’s okay if you don’t miss him.” She said truthfully, “Even if he was the first man to ever exist, he wasn’t a very nice one to begin with. But, I can tell that you’re different from him and you’re much nicer than he’ll ever be.”

Abel smiled and felt his eyes water as he hugged the small girl close.

“Thank you.” Abel whispered, “You’re such a sweet girl.”

“Thanks.”

After the meeting and as soon as they had some free time, Abel lets Gina climb onto his back and started to fly around.

“You sure this is okay?” She asked as she wrapped his arms around his neck.

“No sweat. Lucifer said it’s okay as long as I took good care of you.” He reassured her.

Then he started to fly at great speed but was careful not to go too fast.

“Whee!!” Gina cheered while holding into his back, “This is fun!”

“I’m glad you think so!” Abel smiled and started to wave his hand, “Now watch this!”

He opened an angelic portal and zipped through!
Gina shut her eyes at first, but when she opened them, she was surprised to see that she was in heaven again!

“Oh wow!” Her eyes sparkled, “It’s just as beautiful as last time!”

“I knew you would like it!” Abel said as he flew.

“But, I didn’t think I was allowed to come back after last time.”

Abel frowned a bit and remembered hearing about how his father casted her out of heaven when she said she prefers her friends instead of rejecting them like he wanted her to. He took his hand and placed on top of hers.

“You don’t have to worry about that anymore.” He said softly, “Let’s just say that Emily appealed your case and even though I didn’t meet you at the time, I spoke on your behalf too.”

“Wow! I really appreciate that.”

“It’s no problem!”

They flew around a bit more and Abel started to slow down so Gina could take all of the sights she wasn’t able to see last time.

When Gina started to get tired, Abel open the portal again to go back to the hotel. There, he held the girl in his arms as he went to her friends, who were waiting for her to come back.

“I take it you two had fun?” Lucifer asked with a knowing smile.

“You bet!” Abel gave a thumbs up, “Gina had a pretty good time.”

Gina gave a soft yawn and hugged Abel, “Uh-huh. I had the best time with my angelic big brother here.”

Everyone smiled seeing Gina so happy as she started to nap in Abel’s arms.

A few moments ago, Angel came home early and smiled seeing Gina sleeping. Abel handed her over to Angel Dust and he immediately cuddled the girl close.

“Thanks for playing with her today.” Angel spoke softly as he lightly touched her cheek,  “I can tell she was happy to hang out with you.”

“Of course, but I can never take your place. After all, you’re the first friend she made here and Emily from heaven.”

“Still, she could use an angelic big brother like you whenever she needs help.” The spider demon smiled at him.

“Thanks. My friends and I will check on her from time to time if that’s okay.” Abel offered.

“Of course!” Lucifer patted his shoulder, “A little sweetie like her could use a few guardian angels.”

“You bet!” Peter nodded.

“We’ll always look after her just like all of you are doing.” Emily said warmly.

Gina was barely awake but she could hear the kind words from all of her friends and she smiled a little before she fell asleep.

The three angels had to leave but now before they quietly said goodbye to Gina and petted her hair one more time.

Not only has Gina gotten two more angelic friends but now she has some guardian angels watching over her.

(The End)
