Wu Suowei was craving bubble tea.
Not wanting it.
Not thinking about it.
Craving it- with the unshakable, all-consuming force of a man possessed.
Unfortunately -Or fortunately, depending on who you asked- Chi Cheng and Jiang Xiaoshuai weren't home to face his whining.
But fortunately-
Someone else was.
Guo Chengyu.
Which meant Suowei had an opportunity.
And Wu Suowei NEVER wasted opportunities.
He took a peek from the bedroom door, imedietly finding Chengyu seated on the couch. Suowei's eyes slowly narrowed like a general drawing up a battle plan. He tapped his chin. He paced. He calculated.
Then, with the confidence of a man about to commit a beautiful crime, he whispered to himself:
Operation: Bubble Tea Acquisition.
Step 1: Ambush with weaponized cuteness.
Step 2: Profit (in the form of brown sugar milk tea with extra pearls).
He smirked.
"Oh, Chengyu won't know what hit him."

Guo Chengyu considered himself a strong man.
He had survived business negotiations, angry clients, tax season, and even Jiang Xiaoshuai's passive-aggressive lectures about taking care of himself. But there was one thing, one fatal weakness he could not defend against.
Wu. Suowei.
Specifically: Wu Suowei pouting and doing aegyo.
Chengyu was sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone, when he felt a gentle poke against his shoulder.
"Chengyu~" Suowei sang sweetly.
Chengyu paused.
Uh-oh. That tone was dangerous.
He turned slowly.
"…Yes, baby?"
Suowei blinked up at him with big sparkly eyes and jutted out his lower lip.
"Gege~~~"
Chengyu's grip on his phone tightened. "What… do you want?"
Suowei plopped onto his lap without being invited. He wrapped his arms around Chengyu's neck, tilted his head, and said, in the softest, cutest voice he had ever (never) used:
"Can you pleeeeeease get me some bubble tea?,"
Chengyu blinked.
The mission starts officially.
Operation: Bubble Tea Acquisition.
Guo Chengyu cleared his throat. "Baby, it's 9AM. Is the store even open? And also- who drinks sugary milky drink at nine in the morning?"
"I do!"
"Its dessert baby, a diabetes-lever dessert."
Suowei gasped dramatically, clutching his chest like the world had ended. "WHAT DID YOU SAY??" His voice cracked theatrically. Puffing his cheeks.
"ITS BUBBLE TEA! ITS JUST BUBBLE TEA!! ALSO, I SAW ONLINE THAT THE STORE IS ALREADY OPEN!! " Wu Suowei whines.
Chengyu stared.
He could SEE the glimmer of mischief behind those eyes. He could TELL what this man was planning.
But yet-
And yet-
His heart was already melting like sugar syrup.
"Suowei, " he said sternly. "Stop acting cute just to-"
But before he could finish, Suowei grabbed both of Chengyu's cheeks and squished them.
"Chengyuuuu~" he crooned, rocking side to side, pouting hard. His voice rose an octave. "Baby, I wanna drink~~ I've been craving~~ I worked so hard~~ my throat is soo dry~~"
Chengyu broke instantly.
He didn't stand a chance.
"…get your jacket," he muttered in defeat.
He jumped off the couch cheering, grabbing his coat at lightning speed. "I LOVE YOU!!! YOU'RE THE BEST!!! CHI CHENG AND XIOSHUAI IS WORKING, I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO BUY IT LATER IN EVENING WHEN THEY GOT HOME, UNTIL I NOTICED YOU WERE ALREADY HOME!!"
Chengyu grumbled as he put on his shoes. So thats why he's doing this to him in the first place. "You're manipulative. So manipulative."
20 Minutes Later, Victory
The bubble tea shop was open early. Suowei ordered the largest cup available.
Suowei waited eagerly, bouncing a little. "Mhm! I want the brown sugar one with extra pearls! And pudding! And cream foam!"
He also ordered a second cup with extra toppings. "just in case." he also might or might have not buy some chocolate desserts and sugary snacks at the shop.
Chengyu paid without even pretending to resist. And Suowei loaded all of it into Chengyu's arms with zero shame.
Back home, Suowei sat on the couch, sipping happily while he took out the chocolate filled waffles from the many, many dessert he bought. Instanly leaning against Chengyu's side like a smug cat. His legs were tucked under him, he pressed to Chengyu's shoulder.
"You're the best boyfriend ever," he hummed sipping the bubble tea, openning the waffle's container.
Chengyu sighed, arm coming around his waist automatically. "Don’t say it like you won a battle."
Suowei took a bite of the waffle, instantly in bliss.
"…didn't I?"
Chengyu had no response. Because yes. He absolutely had.

Later that evening.
The front door opened. Chi Cheng and Jiang Xiaoshuai stepped inside, exhausted from work.
Immediately, they froze.
Because there, on the couch, was a pile of boyfriend cuddles:
Chengyu slumped back, defeated
Suowei curled on top of him like a smug cat
Two empty bubble tea cups on the table
A blanket over both of them
A whole paper bag that was filled to the brim with delicious, sweet looking desserts
And Suowei humming contently like he owned the world
"Why are there containers averywhere...? " Xiaoshuai asked as he wash his hands at the sink.
Chi Cheng set down his coat on the counter.
"…He aegyo’d you again," he concluded flatly.
Chengyu pointed at Suowei with zero shame.
"He ambushed me at NINE IN THE MORNING."
Xiaoshuai groaned. "At this rate we need to start wearing protective charms around him."
Suowei peeked over Chengyu's chest with innocent eyes.
"Xiao~ Shuai~~~"
Xiaoshuai immediately slapped a hand over his ears.
"NOPE. DON'T. STOP. I WON'T FALL—"
Then Suowei stretched out his arms toward him sleepily.
"Come cuddle…?"
Xiaoshuai collapsed emotionally in two seconds flat.
"…okay but only for five minutes."
He stomped over and piled up to the human pile, making Chengyu let a quite groan before letting his head lean against Suowei.
Chi Cheng sighed with affection and exasperation mixed. He walked over, gently brushing all of his boyfriends messy hair back before sitting beside them.
"You do realize," Chengyu said suddenly, "I wasn’t actually fooled. I just let you win."
Suowei looked him straight in the eyes, and smiled slyly.
"I know. "
Chengyu’s heart dropped.
Oh.
Oh no.
This man was dangerous.
He wasn't doing aegyo.
He was weaponizing cuteness with intention.
Suowei leaned over and kissed Chengyu's cheek- still smiling like a criminal mastermind.
"Thank you for averything, baby. Next time, I'll make it even cuter."
Chengyu paled.
"You're impossible," Chi Cheng murmured to Wu Suowei, kissing his forehead.
Suowei smiled dreamily.
"I love you all, really. "
Xiaoshuai muttered, "He's planing something." as he snuggle up.
Chengyu nodded, "Absolutely."
Chi Cheng added softly, "We don't care." he began wavering his way beside Chengyu, and went to cuddle with them.
And with all three of them around him, Wu Suowei curled up even closer, smug and warm and absolutely spoiled.
Operation Bubble Tea Acquisition: Success.
And tomorrow?
He would do it again, he intended to use it.
Often.
Recklessly.
Without mercy.
He had discovered his greatest power.
