He did not know how it happened.
He had always hated the Archons, yet during the great war, he found himself on the same side as them.
Then, a year later, he's now the principal of the school founded by them..
And yes, if you guessed his name is Dainsleif, you're right.
Dainsleif did not know anything about managing a small group, let alone a whole school.
At least, the tianquan of the Liyue Qixing, and the vice principal, had helped him through many rough patches of establishing the academy.
But the reason she could not hold the role of the principal, is because she has many duties aside from managing the school, she used to be a successful and wealthy merchant, and will always be.
But enough about the lady of the jade chamber, he still needed to send an email, or whatever it was called, to a principal of a certain 'hero academy', the thing is, TA is not quite a hero school, it is more of an ordinary school, or at least to Teyvat's citizens' eyes.
But anyways.. How to send an email again? Ugh.. Despite being the principal, Dain had not been fond of outside technology, and he had obvious trouble of picking up new things because of him having roamed the wilds of hundreds of years.
Yeah, fuck the computer. He'll just send a letter the Teyvat way, via a paper crane. Yep, that's the easiest way for now, easier than ever with the help of Barbatos.
He hunched over his desk, writing the letter with his best handwriting, before folding it into a little origami of a crane, like he planned. And the second he set it out the window, the winds guided it through the night at a steady speed.
At this rate, the letter will arrive in the hands of a certain school by tomorrow afternoon. Yes, today was Friday, if he calculated right, the reply will arrive by Sunday.
Anyways, he will only inform the Archons if the reply arrives positive, now all he needed to do was wait..
So much paperwork lying in front of him makes him want to resign, but he can't, the school needed him.
But enough about the whole potential exchange program. He desperately needed to rest for the night, it was already 2am and he definitely had a long day tomorrow as it will be the first day the vision division dorm will be opened and students will move in, as well and the official open of the kindergarten.
Managing a whole school that accepts a wide range of students was a pain...

Do you want to know how TA came to be? Well, you need to start at the beginning.
The Archons declared war against the heavenly principal, with the help of both the Abyss Order and the Shades.
The 4 Shades had betrayed the heavenly principal, assisting the 7 gods as they fought with everything they had.
It took a week of war, which had taken many innocent lives of both visionless citizens and vision holders.
But, at last, Celestia had fallen, but the heavenly island itself did not fall.
The Archons who previously were too scared to go up to the island, had gone up only to find that the seemingly tiny island, was as big of that as the area of Stormterror's Lair and Fontaine city combined.
And so, the traveler and his twin sister, who both had ascended as the new Rulers of Reason, and claimed their original power back, hatched a risky but wonderful plan.
Build an academy on the island.
And after the hard work of 1 year, almost 2, they successfully built the campus.
People had their means to travel there to drop off their family, like the adepti, who had taken it upon themselves to help the people of Liyue to transport them there yearly.
But the most common paths are the modified Aquabuses, flying ships, and temporary roads made by the Dendro archon and Geo archon.
The academy had a house system, but it was sorted based on visions. So people with Hydro visions are with their peers, and Anemo allogenes are with their fellow Anemo vision holders. While visionless students are one single house.
Students could choose between traveling from their house to the academy everyday, or staying at the dormitories, though most stayed at the dorms due to the academy being so high up.
While mandatory classes are Maths, Science, History, Herbology, Magic Theory, Elemental Reactions, and Monster Study, they are only a minority of all the classes available.
Students, starting from elementary, are required to choose at least 5 additional classes (e.g. Combat, Music, Art, and Alchemy) and students with visions are required to take classes on how to control their visions.
The academy has a wide range of age. From kindergarten, to college. And after the academy's official opening, many people who are legally adults had come to enroll.
Students with visions are also required to choose between 5 weapons, sword, polearm, claymore, catalyst, or bow.
Every elemental division/house has 2 head teachers, the head professor and the assistant head professor. Which are, Venti and Jean for anemo, Zhongli and Ningguang for geo, Raiden Ei and Yae Miko for electro, Nahida and Alhaitham for dendro, Neuvillette and Childe for Hydro, Mavuika and Arlecchino for Pyro, and lastly, Eula and Kaeya for Cryo.
You may often see teachers teaching many subjects at once as TA is quite understaffed due to the losses from the great war and the fact that vision holders are very rare.
And, you see, Teyvat Academy is not in very good light due to the propaganda that quirkless people can choose their own vision which is not true at all, and the fact that TA is rumoured to have very brutal teachers that severely abuse their students which is also not true.
And quirkist people see Teyvatians as cheaters, vision holders outside of Teyvat is very rare because people would ridicule and bully them, causing them to move to Teyvat.
As the only way to get into Teyvat is getting permission from all 7 Archons, along with both principal Dainsleif and vice principal Ningguang, only then will Barbatos create an opening in the wind barrier and Bezeebul stop the electro storm temporarily.
And you see, the only reason TA is quite fancy and has been built so fast is purely because of Ningguang and Dori, whose wealth are unrivalled and connections all over.
