He would always begin on the food that would take longer, and Leonard would be up and moving when he began the little things like last minute fixins and table setting. He’d help, and sometimes would get a little loving and handsy with Ray in the process. Once the pair was done making breakfast, Mick would come sauntering in, still half asleep.
They would share breakfast, and then go about their individual days.
But not this morning.

Space, Ray reminds himself, is what the Legends were needing when they decided to go on hiatus. Space, Ray adds on, is why he should stop texting Leonard. Space, Ray thinks, is the reason for his boredom, why he goes to talk to Oliver in the first place, and that boredom is what leads him to asking Oliver just how one flirts.
Space, Ray notes, is thrown out the window when Barry and Leonard show up at Oliver's.

Sydney suggested they skip dinner, but Leonard insisted he hadn’t had a decent meal in months, and he was going to make Dr Moneybags work for his dessert. For some reason, Ray pointed out he was technically a doctor as well. Leonard had offered Sydney a small smile, told him that he knew where to go if Syd was too tired for that dessert.

Ray had insisted this wasn’t an actual date, he knew Leonard wasn’t his boyfriend, but Leonard wasn’t so sure. Ray looked at him like he could barely believe his luck – when he wasn’t asking impossible things of him, like don’t steal the Faberge egg, where would you even hide it?
