        This confirms he's still alive. He just lost his wings and got dragged amongst his children's corpses.

          Key word “was” plus even if he does SOMEHOW return from the void from the looks of the tags he won’t get a redemption and would likely be a antagonist

            I'm pretty sure "was" is being used in the present.
            It's like in a documentary if the main person of interest, John as an example, survived a near death experience the narrator would say "John was still alive."

              Very true but personally I don’t think he’s coming back mainly cause the void has him in its clutches and wants him dead? Not even the Radiance could survive that
