And the moral of the story is to let yourself grieve, whether you understand why or not. I'm glad they were in the position to turn to a trusted friend outside of themselves to help them figure it out.
That was really good! I've already said it, but I'll say it again: I love the way you wrote these guys. Green is a hard one for a lot of people to pin down and figure out - me included. I'm gonna have to take some notes, because you voiced some things clearly that I only had blurry vision of. It will help me a lot to make Forest an even more distinct character in the future.
I don't know if you're the kind of person who wants typo corrections, but I would guess that you would because your writing is generally quite clean. So tell me off if I'm annoying, but I think you swapped out the word order here: "He hadn’t wondered Vio how was doing" Vio how was doing instead of "how Vio was doing." Feel free to correct any errors or oddities you see in my writing as well.
Thanks for the good read! It was a bit of a character study. Those are fun to read when they're done right like this.
Green is such a tricky one. He's the leader, but not really. He's not "just" Link, they're all Link! But seeing how Green reacted around Erune, how dogged he was in their quest, to step up against Vio, he's basically the "heroic" type and also very social, so making him the "compassion" makes a lot of sense!
I do think that Four normally makes less "clean" splits, where bits of the Colors bleed into the others (for example, their first split), making them better rounded and more "whole." But because this split was specifically to prevent Red's grief from stopping him, it broke them almost perfectly into their "quadrants."
I'm glad you liked it and it helped with your AU aaaaaaa I'm honored
