    You spoiled us so much with almost daily updates with ‘the Serpent’s Shadow’ that going a week or more between updates with this one feels unbearable.

    But don’t rush, patience after all is a virtue and I’d rather have a good quality story than a messy one.

    I want to smack Bail and tell him to use his training and experience as a politician to figure out why neither Obi-Wan or Anakin has made a move to retrieve either Skywalker child, especially if it would deprive the Rebellion at least one Force User.

    However, I have hope that Breha is more discerning and figured out that by not removing one or both Twins from their foster families the Twins were safe from the Emperor/notice.

    I love Owen’s energy here, he’s angry about everything and is more than willing to hunt down Bail, Ahsoka and Yoda himself if they hurt Luke.

    Again I find myself wanting to smack Bail, this time for not evacuating Leia first as the Empire knows that Alderaan is involved with the Rebellion and right now the Rebellion is suspected to have played a role in the destruction of two Star Destroyers, the Grand Inquisitor and Obi-Wan.

    Like seriously dude, you should have either evacuated Leia and then picked up Luke or had Breha and Leia leave Alderaan while he went to get Luke.

    But I will give Bail some credit for being willing to do whatever is necessary to keep Luke alive if Luke gets sick due to the harshness of the Jedi Way when it comes to bonds.

    I imagine that after a few hundred years Anakin and him could firmly establish their Order and build bonds and bridges with other groups enough that they would remain standing if both Obi-Wan and Anakin were to pass on.

    So I was just wondering if because Obi-Wan was able to get information from the Dusk Saber if past wielders of the Dawn Saber were granted any information or insights.

      I have been wanting to get back to updating faster but for some reason I have just had trouble writing and I'm not sure what is going on. Hopefully I have gotten the ball rolling now though so there might be more updates at a faster pace.
      Bail is...definitely not making the best choices here lol. He's doing his best but he's stretched thin and confused and doesn't have the best advisors, considering Yoda is probably senile at this point lol. And to be fair to him he assumed Sidious wouldn't just full out attack a core world openly like this.
      Owen is absolutely not having any of their shit and I enjoy writing him lol. He loves his brother and he's going to protect his son and if that means playing target practice with Jedi then that's what he's going to do. He and Obi-wan will eventually learn to tolerate each other because Luke and Anakin inevitably are going to end up being reunited and Luke is going to need a pack to help fix the situation he ends up falling into because of conditions on Scakir, though to Bail's credit he does his best to prevent the worst of it.
      The Dusk and Dawn Sabers are both living weapons with recollections from their initial wielders and the Dawn Saber will have a very important thing to teach Anakin which Yoda may or may not have mentioned as possible for a sufficiently powerful light aligned Force Wielder that will be a massive resource boon for them, to say the least of it.
      Thank you for the comment. I hopefully will be able to get more chapters out now because writer's block feels bad, but I should be able to get enough momentum now to keep going at a bit of a better pace now (aiming for around 2 chapters a week, especially since things at work slow down around the holidays so I theoretically will have more time to type on my phone lol). I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter.
