    okay so i always wanted to do a chatfic but they seemed SO intimidating. my advice is just go for it! i started this while i was bored and had been reading some, so i was able to see how most people formatted them. honestly, i just pretend im texting my friends sometimes and thats how i come up with character responses. id recommend NOT doing 1 chapter = 1 day, id make each chapter take place over the course of a week instead of a day because its easier to do more angst without it feeling like every day is angst in the fic yk. hope this helps :)

      okay okay, thank you very much!! you're right, chatfics seem really intimidating because most people have like fifty+ chapters published and i'm just like...woah...
      i think it might be less intimidating for me if i just pretend i'll never publish the chapter because then there's no internal pressure building up, yk
      good idea with the days/chapters too, because then you can write about the exciting stuff of the whole week instead of confining yourself to one day :o
