Comment on Neil Became a Child

  1. Yep 🤝🏻

To be honest, I don’t really know how this major works in US colleges. In my country it’s set up in a really weird way (future Orthodox priests study in separate seminaries, and religious studies… damn, it’s just a strange field—after it you can go work as a school teacher, a journalist, or even a tour guide??)

    Yesss, you’re absolutely right 😄
My wife’s family is big and loud. Every time I hang out with them, I feel like a flight attendant on a crashing plane lol—smiling and pretending everything’s fine

I’ll try to stay spoiler-free, so… Nicky will be looking more toward the future than the past 🙏🏻

The problem is, I still don’t understand the dorm room layouts Nora came up with??
    I mean:
Within one four-person dorm room, there’s definitely one bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, and some kind of common area (based on the book descriptions)
That throws me off?? It’s basically a full apartment—I’d totally live there lol. But if it is a full apartment, then it makes sense to call the TV room a living room. A shared common space should be for multiple rooms, right? Or am I wrong??
(Also, I really hope “front door” is the same everywhere?? Like, there’s no difference between a house front door, an apartment front door, or a dorm room front door…)
Ugh, maybe I’m overthinking it. Either way, I’ll try to make it clearer in the text

In the first chapter I definitely said 5-6 years old, but actually he’s 6-7 ^^

Thanks for the long comment ❤️

    1. Imagine of a gold 8 pointed star on a black background. Scattered, tiny, gold stars surround the rm large one with eight points.

      Intrigued by the Nicky comment!

As far as I can tell the Monsters live in a suite style dorm. That usually means either 4 people in one bedroom with two bunk beds or 4 people split in two bedrooms and then a common living room, kitchenette, and a full bathroom.

Their dorm specifically, and all the Foxes I think, are one bedroom with two bunk beds. That explains how Matt, Neil, and Seth all share a room. And later, once Neil moves rooms he mentions being able to look across the room and see Kevin's bed.

That means you would open the door and immediately be in the common room. Probably right near the door would be a kitchenette with a sink, fridge, and stove top. Maaaaybe an oven. Then somewhere near the back of the room would be a door that goes to the bedroom on one side and the bathroom on the other side of the room.

I know this is stupid long but I hope it at least helps make the dorm clearer in your head.

      1. omg thank you so much for the explanation!! I think I finally get it. Thanks again for breaking it down in such detail — you really helped me out ❤️

I never would’ve thought the kitchen could be right by the front door 😅

oh..... I just realized I need to rethink and memorize the room layout for future fics 🫠🫠
