    A great climax (!) to a wonderful work! So smoothly and naturally written, the style never getting in the way of the story, and these characters really feel like normal, fallible people managing all the pleasures and restrictions of their world in a way you can really relate to. (Loved the way Philippe thinks "Hell's teeth! when he realises the Chevalier has spotted him with Thomas!) Oh, yes, and the sex is great! If this is just the first of your Versailles fanfics its a great start and I'm looking forward to whatever else you come up with!
