Comment on It's Mutual (Follow Back Already)

  1. A quick glance at quotev makes me think it's far too much like wattpad for me to ever enjoy using it. I don't see a good filter/tagging system, or even very much organization at all really, and a quick search of 'Voltron Legendary Defender' showed me a bunch of fics about OCs or written from first person or fics that clearly have never been seen by a beta for grammar or readability. It's a site that, like wattpad, makes me frustrated trying to find something to read. If you understand it, then more power to you, but it's beyond me or my desire to sit down and learn it's more intricate workings.

If by, 'post a link' you mean you're going to reference people back to this version of the story, here on AO3, and that all views, kudos, comments, and bookmarks will be here and not on quotev, then sure, you can do that. If you mean you want to post this story to quotev itself, or that any stats (such as comments, views, kudos, and bookmarks) will be tallied there, out of my sight or control, then please don't. I appreciate your interest in sharing my fic with more readers, but no.

Also I attempted to search you up on quotev and it said you don't exist. There is always the possibility that I messed up the search process somehow (tho I clicked to search people and copy/pasted what you said your username there is), but it's just further evidence to me that I'd greatly dislike using quotev as a site.

    1. That’s weird... but I will just be posting a link to the first chapter. Did you remember to put the @ in front of the username?

      1. I did not put the @ because I thought it was, like on facebook or twitter or tumblr, simply a way of designating that what came afterward was the person's handle. Adding the @ did find you on the site.
