   ... much like lecturing Tony on keeping secrets AFTER CAWS... but then again, that scene in WS with Batroc was SECONDS after indulging the guy... ugh.

      I can blame Whedon’s take on Steve verses the Russos for ‘sometimes my teammates don’t tell me things’, the end result is the same but there’s AN explanation even if it’s not in-Universe. There’s no excuse for lecturing Natasha on her priorities at that moment ( and no logic in Natasha taking the blame for the guy Steve was fighting throwing a grenade at them.)
