The summary really piqued my interest but I tend to stay off fics with which future chapters are held hostage for feedbacks. Could’ve done without the knowledge honestly.

I'm sorry about asking for feedback and that that's made you drop this :( I don't tend to do that.
What happens is, I have other fics to write and my real life project, both which I'm putting aside for this and my other big chaptered fic, and I write it for you people. If I wrote it only for me, I wouldn't be posting. So I really wouldn't like to be writing to no one; as I clarified in a note in chapter 7, you don't need to leave a thoughtful comment, not even words. Even emojis work, even a dot, anything is fine, and it doesn't need to be in every single chapter, just from time to time, and only so that I know someone is reading.
It's not about receiving praise and forcing people to say it was a good chapter or something; I just want to know someone is reading and wants to read more, and I'll know that even if the comment is just a dot!
It would make no sense for me to waste time I could be using in my other fic or my real life project so words just get thrown to a void and nobody reads them. I don't want to force anyone to praise me or something, I just want to know that time time and effort I'm putting here is not going unseen!
I support the idea of comment when you want and can, and I never do that about asking for feedback. This is the only fic where I'm doing it, but that's because it's a rarepair plus a slowburn, and you know, it handles subjects of domesticity and depression and it's difficult to catch a reader that's interested in that and not just in hardcore smut hahah :P
But yes. Sorry for the big text, but I wanted to clarify why I'm saying I depend on feedback, and that it's not what it seems. I don't want attention, I just want to know somone is reading. I'm sorry if it rubbed you on the wrong way or made you feel upset!!
It would be my pleasure and honor if you gave the fic a chance. As I said, you don't need to comment on every chapter, just every now and then, and not even words if you don't want to. And sometimes you don't even need to do anything; there's other people who take to commenting and that's enough!
I do believe and want to continue the story to the end, and I think that the feedback I've received is enough to know I'll do it. So it really would be an honor if you gave it a chance, but I understand if you don't want to read it (I guess I too would be upset if an author told me "I won't update if you don't say anything! >:(").
Thanks for being nice about it, though! And again, if you do decide to read it, I won't be mad if you don't comment at all. I guess it maybe was wrong of me to demand feedback.
