    This bit kills me:

    and then that sex scene is so gorgeous and then
    Looking at him makes that enormous, unnamable thing roar so loud in the Patriot’s ears that it drowns out everything else.

    And then they have to kill some HYDRA recon, of course. (Or maybe SHIELD, even?) Alas. (I am enjoying the really bizarre mental image of Steve with long black hair, jsyk.)

    Oh god, going find fucking Zola at fucking Lehigh, nooooooooo. You write the tension in this scene so well! Their little moment against the fence. Bucky's accent creeping in. Steve almost remembering Rebirth. The photos. The access code. *shivers*

    I don't even know what to say about them taking the time to make love one more time just in case that isn't incoherent gushing. Perfect. <3

    Nooooooooo he remembered Bucky's name and then got wiped again. Oh, the narration when he's back captured by HYDRA is heartbreaking. I LOVE THE PARALLEL to the beginning with Bucky reminding Steve this time. LMAO @ "the dumbasses with the costumes"

    This is magnificent, and I love it!
