Comment on A Human Touch

  1. Yay, an update!

Glad that Clint is opening up a little; it’s a good start. I’m guessing if there’s a Laura there’s no SHIELD, but is there the big Avengers complex from the end of Age of Ultron? Do the Avengers have any sort of oversight/mental health guidelines, because they need them! Especially Steve needs direction if he wants to be a team leader, because most of the time they are not existing in adrenaline fueled moments...they are living AFTER those moments have come and gone.

    Keep ‘em coming!!!!

    1. That'd make an interesting crack fic, Stark getting sued for not providing adequate mental health support for Avengers employees.
I guess they'd have some sort of support - I kinda see most of them preferring to deal with things on their own, or trying to anyway. I love the idea of Natasha and Clint being there for each other and being each other's DIY therapists, even if it is woefully inadequate.

      Thanks for continuing to read~

      1. Omg, whoever wrote that fic would get DECIMATED by the rabid Team Tony fans, who would write 200 paragraph comments about how nothing is Tony’s fault, even things that ARE Tony’s fault. And a hilarious debate about Avenger healthcare would be lost altogether.

I once had a fic where Clint got sued for falling on top of someone when he got blown off a roof, but I could never make it come together. #regrets ;)

        1. Maybe if the Avengers all took proper care of their mental health Civil War would have ended differently. *cries* That film is pretty much Just Talk to Each Other: The Movie.

That sounds like a good idea for a fic. I assume there was to be a healthy serving of angst to go alongside the comedic premise? Poor Clint~
