Comment on A Human Touch

  1. Please continue on with this fic! I've never read a fic with Laura before. I don't know if she's canon or if you made her up, but either way I like her a lot. It's hard to find fics with a straight, married couple, where the guy is the one who's gone through something traumatic. I want to see Laura help Clint make process in his recovery. And I want to see how Steve and Clint bond. You have me convinced that Natasha brought him along for a reason, and I can tell that Steve's trying and wants to help. Your portrayal of all the characters feels genuine and real. I also appreciate how you didn't make anyone an asshole. I hate it when authors make whoever isn't their favorite a total asshole. But you show Tony as caring too. Also, Clint and Natasha's platonic friendship gives me the feels. I like it even more than I would if they were a couple. I was so excited when I saw that this fic was recent and not an old abandoned fic like a lot of what I read. Thank you for sharing your writing with the world! Here's to more updates, even if it's a few months from now!

    1. Thank you so much for commenting, it means a lot!

Laura is in Age of Ultron, she only appears briefly though.
I'm a major sucker for some Clint suffering, and I wanted to write something about his relationship with his family too.
I'm really glad you liked the characters. My knowledge of some of them is a little patchy, so I'm glad they feel genuine. I'm also happy you like Steve - I'm half-expecting to get an angry comment from someone about how Steve isn't completely up-to-date with his handling of sexual assault victims, but in my head I couldn't really imagine him acting in a different way.
Clint and Natasha's friendship is one of my favourite things. The post-credit scene in the Avengers, where they're all eating together and Clint has his leg up on Natasha's chair practically killed me.

I don't think you'll have to wait months for the next update, hopefully.
      Thanks so much for reading.
