      Nakamori: Okay, KID Killer, we're counting on you tonight to catch KID. No matter what it takes, got it? I've got Hakuba, Hattori, and Masumi here to help you out, along with the rest of the Taskforce.
      Conan: ... (looks over to the disguised KID)
      KID: (holds up a steaming cup of coffee)
      Conan: Eff it, you're on your own. (wanders over along with 1/4 the Taskforce)
      Masumi: Wait, is that coffee? I love coffee! (wanders over along with another 1/4 the Taskforce)
      Hattori: Yeah, but is it better than *Osakan* coffee? (wanders over, again, 1/4 the Taskforce follows)
      Hakuba: Don't worry, I will keep my wits about me and— (KID holds up another cup) Is that Earl grey? (takes the remaining 1/4 of the Taskforce)
      Nakamori: (crying into his sleeve) I guess I'll have me some too.
      KID: (now with about 57 orders to fill) I have made a huge mistake.

        Sorry for the extremely late comeback, but with the third hand.

        KID: Ha, I don't like you guys enough to fill 57 orders and be late to my scheduled heist time. I will switch out with an actual barista and only Conan will notice. Then I will just bribe him with coffee amd mention how when not filling other orders I have more time for him.

        Taskforce and mentioned detectives except Conan: Man, KID, is your day job a high class chef? Is that where you get your funding? No wonder. That was so good.

        Avid KID fan who happens to be a high class chef: Thank you for the compliment, your bill was covered by courtesy of KID. Also, you missed the heist. If you would like to drink my coffee and eat a meal of mine, I currently work in xxxxx, the 5 star premier Tokyo hotel before I have to head back to France for my permanent job.

        Timeskip. There is a KID heist in a fancy restaurant holding a grand gem display in France, and one of the chef's is detained on suspicion of collaborating with international criminals after he once again auctions off genuine KID heist gear for obscene prices.

          Love it! :D I almost want this made into a comic... I want to see the faces on the Taskforce when they realize they've missed the heist. XD
