okay another great chapter i was a little put off by the different tone in the first paragraph, seem almost like a note you put in the wrong place of something. okay on to the story. it seams like both diamonds, blue especially are completely fed up with white shiest. even going so far as to use the rose quartz strategy to try and sneak into he corrupted colony. that brought a big smile to my face that they actually were going to follow in our pinks foot steps there. at least until blue couldn't take it anymore and had to see pink.
watching blue slap whites ship with hers was the highlight of my day. doesn't quite beat bismuth up cutting the upper crust form change your mind but almost. i really want to know what happened to white. we can assume in the show her change was brought about by pink rebelling. but here pink did just as she was suppose to. so what could have caused white to become so withdrawn? pink never even had to have her pearl taken away so what happened i doubt this version of pink would rebel. maybe white saw pink was going down the same path our's was but this time white used her powers to "correct her". we see this white can use way more mental controls then canon. canon white just seamed able to completely take over a gem turning them into a puppet. this one can alter gems minds taking away memories powers altering the very nature of who they are. maybe she put the regulator there in the first place. to make sure pink behaved instead of using more common forms of punishment. maybe it was guilty over this forced white to withdraw. well I'm sure we will find out soon.
we also see the return of lapis, i wonder if there's some meaning to her taking on a more pearl like appearance modifier. a stark difference for the more powerful form she took in CYM. maybe she's feeling insecure after being abandoned by her diamond. we know she wants to transfer to pink which i would love since we already have Peri as part of his court. we have to keep those two together for the sake of all Lapadot shippers everywhere.
we then see that blue can do more then just make people feel her sorrow. she can calm gems emotions, like i guess we saw when canon blue healed centi but didn't pick up on it till now. i wonder what else she can do. can she fill gems with resolve making them fight longer and harder. that would be a good buff for the battle field. watching her absolutely wreck assassin pearl there was great. and i hope we get to see more of her powers from here on out.
so blue sends lapis to pinks new colony escorted by ughh aquamarine. who un-ceremoniusly gets dissipated and bubbled in like three seconds by ocean. thank god i hope blue grinds her gem until there isn't even a trace of its atomic structure left. that little blue navy knock off deserves nothing less. we also find out all this has taken place at about the same time Steven had the realization that his mom was pink diamond. a lot of things are going to quickly click into place once he's done having his existential crises.
finally blue arrives at the eclipse colony in time to see how it got it's name sake. after thoroughly putting down white in a fashion worthy of one of those screaming teenager gifs. bloop commenting on the beauty by comparing the colony to the era two ball. it getting mentioned for the second time now makes me think it holds some special meaning. maybe its where everything went down between pink and white that set this whole alternate timeline into motion. or at least what caused white transition to stuck up overbearing space goddess we came to know, fear and love to hate.
(P.S. sad we won't get any more chapters for awhile but enjoy your game. over watch is fun even if i do suck at it, also i can't play video games ever since i broke my thumb so game one for those of us who can't.)
