        What if she tries to sneak up on Hat kid multiple times but snatcher has been stalking Empress out of boredom and intercepts her each time? Meanwhile HK is oblivious of all of this and is literally just going about her day.
        Or what if Snatcher sends a few minions to prank the Empress in ways like graffiti or slightly moving stuff?

          Pfft, maybe on the last one. Empress certainly doesn't seem like the kind of character to seek petty revenge (as is pointed out in the story), but Snatcher might. Although, he's associated with Hat Kid now and has seen firsthand what Empress can do. I doubt he'd want to put his kiddo or his minions in danger just to have a little fun. Good suggestions, though! I appreciate it. ^^
