    I'm one of those fans who think Adrien likes Marinette and everything you mentioned I have noticed it (believe me) but I don't think Marinette does. She is used to being around people and friends who like her and show her affection so when Adrien does it, she doesn't realize it might be a big deal to him. In the show, we don't see him showing affection to everyone else the way he does to Marinette. He really thinks highly of her and likes being around her, but just like you mentioned it, he doesn't have the freedom to do whatever he wants all the time, he is always being watched by his father so that gets a lot in the way.
    My fic is supposed to be a few years into the future (they're 16-17), so that's why I mentioned her feelings for Adrien being more on the juvenile side. In this fic, she never did anything about those feelings so they just kind of faded a little.
    But speaking about the show, I hope it doesn't take years for something to happen. XD
