Comment on The Cursed Winter

  1. Whee, it's delightful to see a new installment of this series! I love the joking about being cursed, the dealing with the family and exorcism-related matters from the previous story… and now I'm wondering where exactly does or will the whole canon short story of Talia becoming a white-robe priest fit in? I've been swamped with life and don't have the time to go back to do a thorough re-read to try to place it the time with the greater canon, so some of the details are getting fuzzy.

Also, a quick proofreading note: I think there's a missing "to" in this phrase? "Thoughts on mental shielding being added the standard childhood curriculum"

Thanks for keeping going with this! I look forward to reading the next chapter when it comes out. :)

    1. There is definitely a missing to - this scene is actually the frankenstein child of 3 different meeting scenes that originally wrlere spread across - look, there were a metric ton of rewrites and restarts, copy page and trying for cohesion results in some errors. Thanks for catching it!

As for the talia short story - I’m treating that as total canon since ML wrote it. It’s actually going to be a pretty big thing - the whole story is an anchor point for a chunk of this saga. Well after cursed winter, but I’d definitely recommend rereading it!
