    Yay, I'm glad you liked it ^_^

    They are transparent for the most part, depending on how 'strong' they are. For instance, it's pretty hard to see Karkat, while Terezi is pretty much solid all of the time. They can put effort into making themselves more solid, like with any other illusion. So yeah, it's totally possible for them to blend in with society, and the strongest ones do naturally so that's a fun thing the hunters have to work around.
