   Lovely, lovely fluff!

   (One wonders what their relationship would have been had they met 10 years ago. Would Sherlock resent it and try to fight it, because he was trying to fight it at the time? Would John, considering how hard he searched for the soulmate he thought he'd lost, be too eager and end up irritating Sherlock? Is it possible that the missed connections weren't missed, so much as not meant to happen right then? That the clocks were the countdown to a meeting rather than an actual pairing? (Not all relationships click the first time around and, while I think they would have been attracted to one another, I'm not sure their younger selves would fully appreciate each other the way their older selves do.)
