    Oh yikes I sensed slight projection of Padmé onto poor Luke. Vader low key manipulating everything to his ideal, now all he needs is Luke’s acceptance of his true lineage.

    For Luke’s nightmares, I can’t help but think that Palpatine planted those to make him fear the man who is truly his father...

      Oh, he absolutely is projecting Padmé onto Luke. He's even projecting his own twisted ideas onto Padmé. Vader is not great at seeing reality as it is.

      And Palpatine didn't need to plant them -- there was definitely a reason Luke had them...
