it just -- watching Eridan fumble his way through this is so adorable, the early stupid mistake that he wants to disavow forever, the careful attention he pays after that to how /d/ social rules work, the flustered delight when strangers stick up for him, aaah.
And all his little adorable matter-of-fact framing of his routine, "running around winning at extreme sports outside in the moonlight" and "while strifing briskly with your father in an on-going dispute about your piss-poor dining etiquette" and all.
I couldn't reply to this comment at first, because it just kept making me want to work more on the second chapter, and explore Eridan's emotional landscape more THERE instead of in this comment box X)
