“You’re not taking this seriously are you Kakarot?” Vegeta teased, wagging his fingers. Goku laughed, dragged himself out of the crater and went to meet Vegeta head on.
This just made me smile. Cause it's obvious how they care about each other from this little thing and my insides are melting and I'm sitting here, sighing and staring at the computer dreamily.
His lips seemed to be saying his Saiyan name, his eyes wide with bewildered surprise as his body disintegrated into blue and gold lights that flew up into the air. Goku reached out to catch them but his hands remained empty.
Wow... okay. Nevermind. here I was all happy and now I realized you're an evil, EVIL BEING FOR MAKING ME GO THROUGH THIS. OMG. l... I... what happened. It was so sweet and nice and IM NOT READY FOR THIS EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER OKAY
Okay you know what's killing me? The fact that Goku lost everything - literally lost everything, cause he's there, without Vegeta, seeing him die and KNOWING he was too late, and yet, even with that knowledge that he might not be getting him back, he's STILL Trying to work with Whis and literally save the planet. The entire universe in his grief. He didn't turn blind, and he's actually trying to find out solutions for bringing the MURDERERS of his loved one back, and while he's not saying he will be able to control himself - because they might come after his sons, or someone else, he's more than willing to try. He would work to bring the killers back, and that fact itself kills me.
Fuck. Goku is such a damn good guy, and I'm sobbing here, my poor heart is DYING because of you.
Please please PLEASE LET THE TIME TRAVEL WORK SO HE CAN SAVE HIM.

He looked around, and then he saw him. Goku could swear he felt his heart stop in that moment. Standing on a cliff above him, dressed in old armor including a scouter, with a tail wrapped around his waist. If that wasn’t a dead enough give away the cocky grin of pure distain and superiority that hadn’t been used in his direction for years was spotted promptly on Vegeta’s face. All this helped Goku piece it together.
“Come now Kakarot. If you won’t join me, I’ll just have to defeat you.”
Oh my gosh, I’ve never seen anyone’s reaction in real time like that, I’m so sorry. This is a sad/ bittersweet story and it’s gonna get worse before it gets better. Thank you for your comment. I saw a bunch more and I’m gonna try to read them all right now. Hopefully you inspire me to get past where I’m stuck rn.
