    Of course Sherlock would think it perfectly natural to take his teenage daughter he's just met on a case to test her abilities! John does it all the time, why should this be any different? A very rational Sherlock explaination, I love how you've tapped into that!

    And the bit about them ignoring each other! I loved that!
