   this is such a beautiful fic thank you for this.. i laughed aloud at this line

   “Uh no,” Peter says, scratching the back of his neck before glancing around. “But uh, you can just, like, whisper it to me or something? Karen’ll pick it up.” 

   and the interactions just felt so real and natural. i dont read much about steve and peter, but this fic made me so curious abt what their relationship wouldve been like if he had stayed in the timeline
