Comment on The Fantastical Frankenstein

  1. Good thing is that we planned out every single story beat for this beforehand *thumbs up* Next chapter should be up in two weeks :D

My co-writer escspace and I love Gatsby, but you def don't need to know anything about it going in. Yes, Daisy was originally a woman, but changing the genders of Buchanan couple changes the reading of the story entirely :)

Franken.......be like that. He really, really, really thought that was Rai....and when it wasn't...he wasn't even allowed to be break down in public. He didn't even want to go back in. But Nick manages to get him back in the house, and when he's in there faced with Daisy....all he can see is Rai.

ohhhoho I'm glad you like Tina. She's an antagonist but she's owns it. Nice, you could tell that Franken was freaking out in that scene thinking he was meeting master's wife - so technically his superior. He greets her as if greeting his new mistress.

Ragar means well. Lukedonia has Rai presumed dead. It's perfectly logical and he has to do a lot of mental rearranging in that moment! (We actually don't know when Ragar went to eternal sleep, so this fic stretches the imagination a bit - he goes to sleep after 1920s very late....I guess.)

The Daisy pov is a few chapters away and oohh the things going on in his mind are just great to write. Can't wait for you to see them. Thanks SinfulLuca

    1. Oh no! It's shrinking!

other detailes I really liked because this is eating me up:

the more I think about chapter 4 the wilder it gets because Franken not only mets "Rai"'s wife but she was not only a jerk but offering herself to Franken who think he must now be the servant of this person as well its so fjshsysnhshd

also, she kinda being atracted to Franken is ... el colmo. and it just made me notice english doesnt really have an equivalent to el colmo (most would translate it to "the last straw" but most of the time its said in a comedic tone and its just... el colmo... language barriers are tight)

that the only soul weapons there are in Franken's replica of the mansion are Kartas and Regasus is such an amazing detail

How insistant Tina is that he is Daniel and not Daisy and him saying his Tommy and it makes me think if there was something betwen Daisy and Tommy and I dont even know what this feeling is but this is so good

and then theres the daughter, its so... aaaaah how mortified Daisy is over having a daughter and she looking a lot like him is... like man, that sucks for you but also poor girl, is she even loved and I cant help but hink what Franken would do if he ever saw a small girl that looked so muh like Rai and was so unloved

also I'm curious if the people that disapear are the assasins from the union and I find it kinda funny how friendly J-56 is with her captor

oooh! and I forgot the cross cufflings dhahxhd
nick like "didnt know he was religious" and you vould say Franken is very religious indeed...

anywya, dunno what I'll do for the next 2 weeks

      btw, just luca is fine

      1. Yo...Oh my gosh, you're noticing like all the details we had hoped people would notice. Thank you so much. :')

Okay, yeah yeah! The sheer blasphemy from Franken's point of view that Tina, Master's Wife and therefore his Mistress, would cheat on Master with their servant?? Madness. The irony of this is that Franken then turns around and gets all luvy with Daisy even after knowing Daisy is not Rai. Franken himself is not free of sin. (what a hoe.)

And you picked up on the Tina/Tommy, Daniel/Daisy thing! Yeah, it's implied that Daisy and Tommy had some sort of friendliness with each other and perhaps were quite close too! So the way they are with each other now is a little tragic, made even more so by the existence of their little girl who probably doesn't get all of the emotional parental nurture she needs.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting. We greatly appreciate it! ^-^
