    I can't wait to see where this story goes! It's really hard to nail "no psychic power" AUs, but your premise has really sold me. You managed to keep both of them in character even while changing up their backstories so much- and it's nice seeing a fic where Serizawa has a good, supportive relationship with his mom :)

      So glad you've enjoyed the premise of this fic! The premise was all I had to start out with and it was gripping enough for me to write... well, a lot more than I intended when I set out, haha :D

      and my heart hurts too much to think about Seri and his mom having a bad relationship. I enjoyed exploring their good (if imperfect, if my own imperfect memory serves me correctly hahaha) relationship in this fic, partially because Seri's mom is an interesting but rather blank slate.
