  1. Aw, thanks for your kind words! Actually, I did get your email, but work has been kicking my butt lately, and I didn't want to rush a response. For the record, you didn't come across as overbearing at all, and your story concept sounds really interesting! I may be going through a Star Wars phase right now, but I used to be heavily into vampire lore when I was younger. Never got much into the Anita Blake series, but I did follow The Vampire Chronicles by Ann Rice for a while.

As for Maul coming out of lurking... there is a reason for it. I won't give much of the story away, except to say that like Obi-Wan before him, he wasn't merely hiding on the planet with the twin suns. I've finally managed to outline this entire story, too. Originally, I planned to condense everything into four chapters, but now I'm clocking in ten, plus an epilogue (which is where I plan to explain things a bit more). Sorry if that means you're going to wait longer to find out what that sneaky Nightbrother has been up to.

Also, thanks for mentioning those other authors, and including me with them! I'm honored, and can't wait to check out their stuff, too!

    1. Oh cool! I can't wait to read the rest of this story now. And I completely understand work taking over your life. I work at a grocery store and am usually beat at the end of my shift, especially nowadays when I have to wear a mask. My eyes hurt something fierce by the time I get home.
Anyway, I'm glad you're intrigued by what little I've given you about my story so far. I did like reading Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, but I quickly fell in love with Laurell K. Hamilton's writing style and characters and never looked back. That is until she started making some weird choices for her titular character and then my mind went off on other tangents. So thanks again and I can't wait for your response. 🙂
