    Jazz was furious when Danny insisted they keep Vlad's identity a secret. She understood where he was coming from. Her mother was struggling enough as it was, Jazz couldn't imagine what it would do to her to find out that it had been her husband's best friend all this time. That he had murdered Jack because he wanted her, the guilt alone would be soul crushing, and then there was the certainty that Vlad would reveal Danny's identity in return.

    if maddie would even believe them about vlad, thats a big if
    nothing would stop her from killing him where he stands/floats
    but the existance of his true nature would reveal danny and as shes convinced all ghosts are nothing but evil pieces of scum, danny would be in more danger than ever, esp if she tries to blame him for not telling even tho i had a good reason not to mainly based on fear

    that ending scene where jazz and jack get a sort of reunion
    its so bittersweet
    such a brighter place despite a lot of things hurting, bc hes there and she got to see him
    its sad he never got to know what her college speech would have been, but she cared more about him than school
    she and jack were closest, he was closer to her than danny and same with her and maddie after all

      yeah there was no way Danny could tell her, Jazz wouldn't care if her own life was at stake she would be ready and willing to put her own life at risk if it meant keeping her mum safe

      but of course Danny wants to protect Jazz and he knew that if he told her that, she wouldn't think more critically about the situation and all the other reasons it should be kept secret

        jazz very much needs a hug and both she and her mom need therapy for this shit, grief counsiling at least
        id mention danny as he has so many issues but hes holding himself together pretty well at the moment- tho maybe knowing the whole truth and being a ghost allows him to process and bottle up those issues better and simutaniously

            he mainly doesnt feel safe to crumble bc vlad is out and an active threat and things are scarier and he thinks he cant let his guard down
            his mom is scarier and the kid feels more alone than ever, not to mention the guilt he shouldered onto himself for jacks death, as he thinks thats his fault for not being fast enough, not being vigilant enough, and such

            hopefully with jack there it can help him
            but his mere existance as a ghost now is threatened should maddie even catch wiff of him, as vengance driven as she is
            shes worse and scarier than valerie ever could hope to be- a scientist and inventor, ADULT, and a lot less hesitation, and the loss of her husband- like if she ever finds out about vlad he wont even get a chance to 'sweet talk' his way out of it if she knows, esp if she knew he planned to kill jazz next

              oh yeah there's a lot to unpack, I'm hoping to cover some of that in the next chapter, Jack is going to have a lot of questions about stuff Danny is not used to talking about
