    Yay!! This is the first chapter in this story that I can back and read without cringing. It took me like multiple years of writing to get this far! And I definitely improved a lot during that time. I'm really glad you connected to this story and that it added depth to the source material. I think the main reason I even started writing all this was because I WANTED the source material to go DEEPER!!

    Lucca was by FAR my favorite character to write in this whole story! She is the character I relate to the most. Mai was not planned, but she just happened, and I really enjoyed trying to be in that headspace of a child.

    I apparently responded to the wrong comment earlier this week, but just wanted to reiterate that "too many comments" is NOT a thing. We writers have the ability to turn off commenting. I have NEVER seen someone do that. Because we ALL want comments soooooooo bad! :) And it's not necessarily even about getting compliments - it's more just seeing someone engaging with our story that is exciting!! So again, thank you for ALL OF THESE COMMENTS!!

      Well yeah, it's a ton of work to write something! Wanting to get engagement or feedback on it just makes sense.

      Yes Mai 🌈 so much love for this future arc. I'm preparing myself to sob like a baby when i reread these chapters with my sister lolol
